As-Sabiqun Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and articles on Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences. This journal was published by Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok - NTB which was published twice in a year (biannualy), March and October with a minimum of 5 articles. The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills. Scientific manuscript dealing with Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences topics are particularly welcome to be submitted. The journal encompasses research articles, original research report, and scientific reviews in education in any fields including: 1. Early Childhood Education Theory; 2. Early Childhood Education Learning Practice; 3. Early Childhood Development includes Religious and Moral, Cognitive, Language, Social-Emotional, Physical-Motoric, and Art Values; 4. PAUD Policy; 5. Parenting; 6. Teacher Education and Training; 7. Learning Strategy. Editorial Team invites academics, lecturers and researchers to contribute according to the scope above. Articles can be submitted online, by registering as a author (Online Submissions). Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Peer Review Processes. This journal is an open access journal which means that all freely available content is used. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or cite to the full text of the article, or use it for other legitimate purposes, without asking permission from the publisher or author.

Abstract

This study was conducted to improve children's cognitive abilities through science learning, namely elephant trunk soap bubbles with experimental methods. This study aims to observe the initial condition of early childhood cognitive abilities before being given learning activities using the science experiment method. The method used is the PTK (Classroom Action Research) method, the subjects used are all group B children at Fathul Huda Kindergarten. The data collection techniques used are observation by looking at the condition of the class children to be studied, interviews conducted with children and also with class b teachers and documentation conducted when learning is taking place. The data analysis technique used is qualitative. The results of the study showed that this elephant trunk soap bubble learning can improve children's cognitive abilities. Thus it can be concluded that science learning through elephant trunk soap bubble experiments is quite effective in improving cognitive abilities of early childhood and the cognitive development of children is also higher than before.

Abstract

Through the use of experimental methods, this research seeks to increase the cognitive capacity of children aged 5-6 years in Kober Al-Ibad in relation to learning and problem solving. Classroom Action Research is the research method used (PTK). The design developed by Kemmis and McTaggart was used in this research. The four steps that make up a cycle are preparation, activity, observation, and reflection. Thirteen second grade students from class B1 Kober Al-Ibad served as study participants. Data collection approach through observation and documentation. Research shows that children's cognitive development occurs in stages. In cycle I, only seven children managed to reach the beginning to develop (MB) stage, while six children were still not sufficiently developed (BB). This relates to mentioning the tools and materials for making ice cream, explaining their function, and carrying out the experiment correctly. In addition, of the 10 children tested, 5 successfully reached the Beginning to Develop (MB) stage due to the accuracy of the ice cream making procedure and their ability to articulate the experimental findings, while the other 8 children remained at the No stage. Undeveloped Stage (BB). In cycle II, things started to improve; At that time, most children had reached the expected developmental stage (BSH), and some even reached the very good developmental stage (BSB). When children's cognitive development improved significantly compared to the first cycle of activities, it was clear that the ice cream experiment had a big impact.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to conduct science experiments on floating, sinking and floating objects in liquid to support cognitive abilities in early childhood. By providing opportunities to experience and learn directly can develop a deeper understanding between theory and practice, opening space for creativity and problem solving. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, conducted at SPS Bambim As-Shafa Tasikmalaya. The data collection techniques used were the results of observation and documentation, then the collected data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that children were very enthusiastic and paid direct attention to the changes that occurred in the science experiments carried out. The materials used include tools and materials that are safe and simple and easily recognized by children in their environment. Experiments of floating, sinking and floating objects are science learning that can directly support children's cognitive abilities, triggering children to train their five senses, find and understand events from the symptoms of the objects tested

Abstract

This research aims at figuring out teachers and students’ need of integrated religious moderation in English materials at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic Junior High School) grade 7. This was a descriptive research conducted in four different Madrasah in West Sumatera, i.e., MtsN Batusangkar, MtsN Sawah Lunto, MtsN Solok, dan MtsS Muhammadiyah Payakumbuh . The informants were four English teachers at grade 7 were interviewed in order to gain the data about their needs of integrated religious moderation values in English materials, and 121 students who filled the questionnaire sent via Google form. The result shows that all of the informants demand the integrated religious moderation values, in terms of national commitment, tolerant, nonviolent, and accommodative to local culture, in English materials at grade 7 of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in West Sumatera. Then, the topics potential to be integrated are Apologizing, Introducing self, Descriptive text and Warning.

Abstract

TikTok is an interactive and fun platform, so it can be used to design Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials. Presenting PAI material that is dense, interesting and in a short time can make students more interested in the learning process. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. And data analysis is carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research location at SDN Kebontemu located in Kabunan Hamlet, Kebontemu Village, Peterongan District, Jombang Regency The purpose of this study is to design PAI material so that the interest in learning grade VI students at SDN Kebontemu will increase. The steps of designing pie material are 1. Choose the theme to be delivered. 2. Determine guidelines or references in accordance with the curriculum used. 3. Prepare the materials to be displayed. 4. Choose social media. 5. How to design material on TikTok social media.

Abstract

Learning in the modern era comes with a lot of progress, many skills that must be possessed by students so as to make teachers more innovative in creating a learning climate, one of which is by utilizing technology in learning. However, the fact shows that most teachers, especially in learning PAI subjects in elementary schools, are still very minimal in involving technology as a learning medium for example learning videos, even though as a teacher should have knowledge and skills about the use of technology to create innovative and fun learning. Therefore, the research and development of Renderforest-based learning videos is expected to be able to help teachers in delivering kalimah tayibah material to grade 3 elementary school students more interestingly and fun so that students can easily understand the material and then students practice it in everyday life. The method used by the researcher is the ADDIE model D&D method which is combined with a Students and teachers can access these learning videos on the YouTube app anytime and anywhere. The use of learning videos in the learning process can increase student motivation and create a fun learning experience.students. The research instruments used are interviews and assessment instruments which are then analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, and data verification. BAHRI (Calimah Tayibah Everyday) learning videos in their use have been able to help teachers in a more interesting teaching process and trigger teachers to continue to innovate by utilizing technology in learning. Students and teachers can access these learning videos on the YouTube app anytime and anywhere. The use of learning videos in the learning process can increase student motivation and create a fun learning experience.

Abstract

The implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka requires updated teaching materials that can accommodate suitable learning characteristics. This study is a development research using the 4-D model in three stages: define, design, and develop. The subjects of this study are 35 students from grade X of MAN 2 Padang Panjang, 1 biology subject teacher of MAN 2 Padang Panjang, and two lecturers from the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP. The object of this research is the PjBL-STEM-based worksheet on environmental change and preservation material. Data for this study are obtained from teacher interviews, student observation questionnaires, and validity questionnaires. The result obtained for the product validity score is 91%, categorized as highly valid, thus can be used in biology learning.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to improve the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students and mathematics learning achievement in the fraction topic at SD Negeri 2 Sangkanayu by utilizing the problem-based learning (PBL) paradigm with concrete media. This study used a two-cycle method for classroom action research (CAR). Eachcycle consisted of four steps: planning, implementation, assessment, and reflection. Nineteen students from thefifth grade of SD Negeri 2 Sangkanayu became the research subjects. Tests with assessment questions and non-test surveys about collaboration skills are examples of data instrument strategies. The research findings indicate that students' ability to collaborate with others and perform academically has improved. The average learning outcome in cycle I was 60.65 with a learning completion rate of 65.7%, while the learning achievement results in cycle II obtained an average of 83.68 with a learning completion rate of 86.8%. The average percentage of collaboration skills increased 5.1% from 75.85% in cycle I to 81% in cycle II.

Abstract

The development of science and technology in dealing with it requires a person or several people who have extraordinary morals, abilities and qualifications. Education is a strategic basis in the current era of globalization. The purpose of this research is that researchers want to know how the development of global ethics through the profile of Pancasila students. In accordance with the characteristics of the problems raised in this research, a qualitative research method is used, namely emphasizing its analysis on descriptive data in the form of written words that are observed. Data collection techniques are by using observation and documentation. The results of this study are that the development of global ethics has been integrated through a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students at RA Perwanida 1, the project is carried out once in one semester. Apart from that, the theme raised also adapts to the characteristics of the school and its students. The importance of developing global ethics is not only seen in the classroom, but also through various extracurricular activities and social interactions between students and teachers. Thus, the development of global ethics in schools forms not only morally good individuals, but also individuals who are ready to participate in building a peaceful and harmonious global society. In this context, the implementation of global ethics in educational institutions, such as that carried out by RA Perwanida 1 through the independent curriculum.
