Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the process of implementing the discovery learning model in improving social studies learning outcomes regarding the arrival of western nations in class VI SD Negeri 16 Kota Ternate. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research (PTK). The sequence of research activities includes: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. Data collection uses tests, observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, for the analysis, researchers used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research object is the sixth grade students of SD Negeri 16 Kota Ternate. The results of the research show that the application of the discover learning learning model in social studies lessons regarding the arrival of western nations can improve student learning outcomes, especially in class VI at SD Alkhairaat 2 Tobelo. This can be seen in cycle I, 27% of students were said to have completed or 6 students, with an average score of 49.09%, while in cycle II there was an increase in students who completed 72% or 16 students with an average score of 77.72%. . Cycle I student activities received an average score of 66% and cycle II an average score of 86%. And teacher activities in cycle I got an average score of 65% and in cycle II got an average score of 86%. Thus, the application of the discovery learning model regarding the event of the arrival of the Westerners can improve social studies learning outcomes for class VI students at SD Al-Khairaat 2 Tobelo.

Abstract

In discussing the roots of this conflict, several theories will be put forward that will serve as a basis for discussing issues related to this research problem. The theories in question are Boundary Making Theory, Decentralization Theory, Power Theory, and Resistance Theory. Theory of Boundary Making is used as a basis for looking at historical aspects as a determining factor in the occurrence of regional border conflicts even though the tendency of the theory is more on state border conflicts. The theory of power is used in this study because the core problem in border conflicts is a product of regulation. The party that has competence in issuing regulations is the government as the ruler of the state. Meanwhile, resistance theory is used to analyze the phenomena of the resistance movement as a result of domination within a power structure including the state. In this context, these theories are very relevant if they become the basis or basis for analysis of the research problem as the focus of this research.

Abstract

This article is the result of research on the Childfree Phenomenon which is an issue that is hotly discussed, especially on Indonesian social media. Childfree is an agreement made by a husband and wife not to have children during their marriage. This is a phenomenon that is quite controversial because in the cultural construction of Indonesian society, children are considered a gift and also one of the goals of marriage. More specifically, this article discusses what factors influence people to choose not to have children and how Islamic law views this phenomenon as well as the sociological impact on this phenomenon. To answer the problems that arise in this regard, this study uses a normative-sociological approach. that textually there is no textual verse which prohibits the choice of childfree. Having offspring is a recommendation in Islam is not an obligation. So that childfree does not include prohibited acts, because every married couple has the right to plan and manage their household life including having children. Nevertheless, it is important to note that in Islam children are seen as a gift that must be grateful for because children are a gift from God. So this is not in accordance with the principles of Maqasid As-Syariah in terms of protecting offspring (Hifdz an-Nasl).

Abstract

Desa adalah kesatuan masyarakat hukum yang memiliki batas-batas wilayah yang berwenang untuk mengatur dan mengurus kepentingan masyarakat setempat, berdasarkan asal-usul dan adat istiadat setempat yang diakui dan dihormati dalam sistem Pemerintahan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Dana Desa adalah dana yang bersumber dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara yang diperuntukkan bagi Desa dan Desa Adat yang ditransfer melalui Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja  Daerah  kabupaten/kota  dan  digunakan  untuk  membiayai  penyelenggaran pemerintahan, pembangunan.Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sagawele, Kayoa Selatan, dan waktu penelitian selama 2 bulan, tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat berkaitan dengan peran pemerintah desa dalam mengelola dana desa untuk pembangunan Desa, dengan penelitian menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, peran pemerintah dalam mengelola dana desa untuk pembangunan desa merupakan salah satu moto penggerak agar pemerintah desa dan masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa dapat terwjud dan terlaksana. Adapun bentuk-bentu peran pemerintah desa untuk membangun desa mencakup dua hal yaitu pembangunan secara fisik dan pembangunan secara non-fisik.Kata kunci; Peran Pemerintah Desa, Dana Desa, Pembangunan, dan Desa Sagawele.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai peneliti yaitu (1) Untuk mengetahui proses penerapan pendidikan karakter melalui pembiasaan sikap disiplin dan tanggung jawab peserta didik di SMP Negeri 7 Kota Ternate, (2) Untuk mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter melalui pembiasaan sikap disiplin dan tanggung jawab peserta didik di SMP Negeri 7 Kota Ternate. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dan analisis data adalah reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan mengambil kesimpulan hasil penelitian.Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijelaskan bahwa (1) Penerapan pendidikan karakter melaluipembiasaan sikap disiplin dan tanggung jawab di SMP Negeri 7 Kota Ternate bekerja sama dengan semua elemen sekolah yang terkait, mulai dari kebijakan kepala sekolah, suri teladan seorang guru dan staf, serta peserta didik sebagai pelaksana pendidikan karakter itu sendiri. (2) Faktor penghambat dan pendukung, yang menjadi faktor penghambat yaitu berkurangnya pemahaman peserta didik tentang sikap disiplin dan tanggung jawab sehingga ada sebagian peserta didik yang sering dan ke sekolah tidak tepat waktu dan mengumpulkan tugas tidak tepat waktu karena berkurangnya rasa tanggung jawab pada diri peserta didik tersebut dan masih terdapat peserta didik yang malas untuk beribadah, faktor pendukung yaitu sekolah mempunyai motivasi besar untuk melahirkan alumni yang berakhlak mulia sehingga sekolah menguatkan pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum sekolah untuk diterapkan dengan sungguh-sungguh dan adanya sarana prasarana yang menunjang penerapan pendidikan karakter serta dukungan dari orang tua peserta didik.

Abstract

The Palestine-Israel conflict is one of the most complex and prolonged disputes in modern history, rooted in historical, political, religious, and social factors. This paper explores the origins of the conflict, tracing its development from the Ottoman era to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, a pivotal turning point in the escalation of tensions. It also examines various peace efforts, such as the Camp David Accords and the Oslo Accords, highlighting the causes of their failures, including the lack of equality in negotiations and the influence of global political interests. Following the events of October 7, 2023, the paper underscores the urgency of formulating a new peace strategy that is inclusive and equitable. It identifies key points for achieving peace, such as recognizing the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people, halting Israel's colonial activities, and garnering international support for a two-state solution. Through this analysis, the paper aims to offer fresh perspectives on pathways to peace that can lead to tangible change in the region.

Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research subjects were class II students at SD Negeri 81 Ternate City, totaling 32 students consisting of 17 girls and 15 boys. Data collection was carried out through observation, tests, and documentation. The data collection instruments used are observation sheets, test assessment guidelines, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative and quantitative.In cycle I all actions can be carried out according to the action plan. Of the 32 students who completed, 12 students or 37.5, while 22 students or 62.5 did not complete. So an average of 65.5 can be obtained (cycle I). Meanwhile, in cycle II with the same material, all actions were carried out according to the action plan. This is proven by the number of 32 students who completed as many as 24 students or 75.0 while those who did not complete were 8 students or 25.0 with an average of 83.75 (cycle II). Meanwhile, the results of student learning activities were with a percentage of 67.5 (cycle I) and 85.0 (cycle II) and the results of teacher activities were with a percentage of 65.0 (cycle I) and 84.61 (cycle II). The results of the research show that the application of the QL (Quantum Learning) model is to improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning on the subject of the position and role of family members of class II students at SD Negeri 81 Ternate City.

Abstract

This research is entitled School Principal Management in Implementing Environmentally Caring Cultural Character in State High Schools in Ternate City. This research aims to determine the management of school principals in a culture of environmental care in State Senior High Schools in Ternate City. School principal management has a very important role because every school must be able to instill the character of caring for the environment. The cultivation of character education must also be supported by the entire school community. The party who plays an important role in the environmental care character education program is the school principal. The program that has been decided must be able to be realized through the class teacher and introduced to students. Therefore, there are several indicators that must be achieved by each class in order to instill environmentally caring character education. The application of environmentally caring character values at Ternate City Public High School is carried out by building students' awareness to prevent damage to the natural environment around them, and developing efforts to repair natural damage that has occurred. Caring for the environment is a character that students must have. Environmentally caring character can reflect students' concern and sensitivity to their environment. Every school must be able to instill the character of caring for the environment.This research method uses descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is descriptive research that analyzes using an inductive approach. This research emphasizes the theoretical basis which serves as the focus of research when in the field. The location of this research will be carried out at Ternate City Public High School. The time for carrying out this research was carried out over six months from March to August 2023. The subjects of this research were the Principal, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, and Teachers. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.The results of the research show that there is still a culture of caring for the environment in Ternate City State High School, there is a lack of student awareness regarding this, there are still students who throw rubbish carelessly, there are still students who damage the school garden and don't want to take responsibility, there are still students who don't care about the cleanliness of the school toilets. , there was rubbish in the classroom, rubbish was found in the school garden, water taps were still found that were not turned off after using them. This situation is very worrying because there are still many students who are not responsive and sensitive to their surrounding environment.Thus, the application of environmentally caring character values at Ternate City Public High School is carried out by building students' awareness to prevent damage to the natural environment around them, and developing efforts to repair natural damage that has occurred. Caring for the environment is a character that students must have. Environmentally caring character can reflect students' concern and sensitivity to their environment. Abstract

The political situation of a nation (political configuration) very dominantly intervenes in the character of the legal product that is formed, meaning that the two work in harmony. Theoretically, the dichotomous democratic political configuration gives rise to responsive/autonomous legal products. Likewise, the character of conservative/orthodox law emerges from an authoritarian (non-democratic) political configuration. The government's renewal of the Waqf Law in the early reform era is an example of a new legal product that emerged from the political configuration of that time. The renewal of this law is a manifestation of the responsive character of law.

Abstract

The research background of the Center for Community Learning Activities in Ternate City, especially in Akehuda village, is very important in order to help and provide space widely and freely to be used by the community ranging from the educated to those who have never studied the world of education. The research objectives are (1) To determine the role of the center for community learning activities (PKBM) in fostering students who have dropped out of school. (2) To find out the factors that influence PKBM in fostering students who have dropped out of school. (3) To find out what efforts the government has made towards PKBM Mario Laha to foster students who have dropped out of school.The research method used is qualitative descriptive research with a case study method. The subjects of this study are the head of PKBM, lurah, community leaders, and students. Observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques.  Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) The role of the Mario Laha Community Learning Center (PKBM) is as a service provider in the form of package A, B and C programs. The presence of Mario Laha PKBM in Akehuda Village as an equality education institution makes students who drop out of school enthusiastic again to continue their education so that they get a diploma to continue their education to college or a career in the world of work. (2) ) Factors that can affect the Mario Laha Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) include: 1) The number of out-of-school children in the Akehuda sub-district who work as motorcycle taxis. 2) The economic condition of Mario Laha PKBM students who are below the poverty line. 3) Negative opinions of peers and parents. 4) Online learning. (3) Efforts that have been made by the government towards Mario Laha PKBM to foster students who drop out of school are as follows.
