Al-Isyraq: Jurnal Bimbingan, Penyuluhan, dan Konseling Islam is a scientific journal, serves as a forum for publishing the original research articles related to Islamic guidance and counseling. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan penerapan hipnoterapi dalam memfasilitasi pemulihan psikologis korban memahami seksual sesama jenis di Kediri, sebuah wilayah dengan karakter sosial-religius yang kuat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus multi-lokasi terhadap empat praktisi hipnoterapi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi non-partisipatif, serta dokumentasi praktik terapi, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gangguan psikologis yang dialami korban lebih banyak dipengaruhi oleh trauma akumulatif, luka batin, dan tekanan stigma sosial daripada orientasi seksual itu sendiri. Praktisi hipnoterapi menerapkan pendekatan yang tekanan penerimaan tanpa syarat (unconditional Positive Regard), penciptaan rasa aman (safety), serta adaptasi kontekstual yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai keagamaan lokal, termasuk integrasi praktik spiritual seperti wirid. Proses terapi terfokus pada pemulihan fungsi psikologis dasar, seperti rasa aman, harga diri, dan kemandirian emosional. Perubahan psikologis yang teramati mencakup peningkatan kesejahteraan emosional, kemampuan regulasi diri, serta keterlibatan sosial yang lebih sehat, yang konsisten dengan konsep pertumbuhan pasca trauma. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa hipnoterapi dapat menjadi pendekatan psikoterapi alternatif yang sensitif terhadap konteks budaya dalam membantu pemulihan korban trauma.

Abstract

This study aims to identify interpersonal communication patterns within families and their role in supporting the mental health of out-of-school students at IAIN Kerinci. Out-of-school students often face various challenges, such as separation from family, academic pressure, and social and cultural adaptation, which have the potential to impact their psychological well-being. In this context, interpersonal communication between students and their families is a crucial factor that can provide emotional support, a sense of security, and psychological empowerment. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to explore the form, frequency, and quality of communication between out-of-school students and their families. The results show that open, empathetic, and supportive communication patterns contribute significantly to maintaining emotional stability and reducing stress and anxiety levels. Conversely, minimal, rigid, or unresponsive communication tends to worsen students’ mental health. Therefore, the continuity of effective interpersonal communication within families is a key element in supporting the mental health of out-of-school students, especially at IAIN Kerinci.
