Abstract

The era of digitalization of education requires effective learning methods, especially in Informatics subjects. This research develops Android-based learning multimedia for Basic Orientation material for Computer Networks and Telecommunications in Vocational Schools. Multimedia development using the ADDIE model includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation and involves class X TKJ SMKN 1 Sepulu students as research subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and qualitative methods. Two expert validators, material experts and media experts, carried out the validation. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Validation results from material experts meet the requirements of 92.5%, which means they are very valid; the media expert results meet the requirements of 92.3%, which means they are valid. At the implementation stage, a trial was carried out. The results of field trials on 30 grade 10 TKJ students obtained an average score of 92.6% with excellent qualifications, which means this medium is accessible for students to learn. The results of testing Android-based multimedia learning show that the media is very suitable as a learning medium for making patterns and helping students' teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Generally, the problem in the learning process is the application of the lecture method in the delivery of learning material by the teacher. The teacher also leads students to complete assignments, discussions, exercises, and question-and-answer activities like general learning methods. An alternative way of looking at students' writing skills is by using flipbook media. This research aims to determine the influence of flipbook media on imaginative descriptive paragraph writing skills at Pertiwi Elementary School, Medan. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design research design. The samples used were class IV A students at Pertiwi Medan Elementary School as the control class and class IV B students at Pertiwi Medan Elementary School as the control class, with 24 students in each class. Data collection techniques use test and observation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use instrument and data analysis tests using research results using IBM SPSS for Windows 20 and Excel. Based on the research results, the flipbook media significantly influences the imaginative descriptive paragraph writing skills of Pertiwi Elementary School students in Medan, and the results of the comparison of the average pre-test score were 51.88 and post-test 85.83.

Abstract

This research aims to describe interactive media for enhancing student learning outcomes and to analyze the impact of animated video-based interactive media on science process skills. The study utilized a quantitative Nonequivalent Control Group Design with a pretest-posttest involving two classes, IV-A and IV-B, each consisting of 26 students. The instrument used in this study was a multiple-choice test obtained from a test bank. Quantitative data analysis employed statistical procedures, including descriptive and inferential statistics. Based on the research findings, the significance value obtained from the Independent Sample T-Test was 0.00, which is less than 0.05. This indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, concluding that animated video-based interactive media significantly influences science process skills. The analysis also revealed that animated video-based interactive media has an 80% impact on science process skills, demonstrating that this type of media effectively enhances science process skills in fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The aim is to determine students' satisfaction level in class XI using Autocad 2D learning media in road and bridge construction lessons. This study also shows that 2D AutoCAD-based learning can help students understand the material better and become more adept at drawing. Non-test evaluation data from student satisfaction questionnaires in class XI DPIB were analyzed. Students were asked to determine their perceptions, preferences, and level of satisfaction with the application. To make educational media based on the Autocad 2D application to concentrate on road and bridge construction lessons more efficient and practical. The Likert Scale Model is used for research and development. The Likert scale is a scale that can be used to measure the attitudes, opinions and perceptions of students or groups of students about the benefits and how effective the use of this media is. From the results, the conclusion that can be drawn is that the AutoCAD 2D application in learning Road and Bridge Construction drawings is considered positive and very good in helping students' learning, as evidenced by the results of the percentage of student responses with the results obtained being 85% to 90%, which means students feel delighted. Moreover, it makes learning two 2-dimensional Autocad-based drawings easier in Road and Bridge Construction lessons.

Abstract

Teaching materials are an essential part of independent curriculum learning. This study aims to determine valid and practical teaching materials on chemical equilibrium material that can support learning the independent curriculum phase F SMA / MA. The research used the Education Design Research type of research with the Plomp development model. The research includes development stages up to prototyping and testing in small groups. The instruments used were a validity questionnaire and a practicality questionnaire. Validity was assessed using the Aikens ' V formula modified by Purwanto to assess practicality Purwanto. The results showed that the validity test obtained 0.86 with a valid category. The results of the practicality test for teacher responses were obtained at 95% with an efficient category, and for student responses, obtained at 95% with an efficient category. These results state that the teaching materials created and developed are valid and practical. Then, the results showed that the multilevel representation approach emphasizes mastery at the macroscopic, submicroscopic, and symbolic levels. Mental models can be used to describe these three levels. A good mental model can help students relate scientific concepts to their thinking.
