Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model using zig-zag media on Pancasila Education Learning Class IV at Pancasila Elementary School, Semarang City. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with a qualitative and quantitative approach. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection activities. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students at SD Pancasila, Semarang City. The sampling technique used total sampling. Quantitative data from the research results were analyzed in a descriptive manner, namely calculating the number, calculating the average, calculating the percentage value, calculating the smallest value and making a graph. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model with media zig-zag is effective in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PKn) Class IV Pancasila Elementary School, Semarang City.

Abstract

This study is motivated by character values in students who tend to experience a decline and the loss of student interest in traditional Javanese arts, especially karawitan. The purpose of this study is to analyze character values and the application of character values in extracurricular kara witan activities at SDN Sunggingwarno 01 Pati Regency. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the character values contained in extracurricular kara witan are religious, tolerance, discipline, hard work, independence, democracy, love for the country, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. The application of these character values is by the expected indicators of character values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the concept of leadership in teacher mobilisers. This research is a qualitative research with literature review type. Information collection was carried out by searching for several important sources including primary sources of literature sources that discuss the concept of leadership in the driving teacher and several other literature sources related to the research. The data collected was then analysed so as to obtain the results of the study which showed that the role of the teacher as a leader is an interactive, consultative, parsitive and controlling figure. in the concept of the driving teacher model in a structured education policy formation to produce teachers as leaders of the teaching and learning process in the future with efforts to implement a curriculum that is dressed in Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational philosophy.

From the results study activity learning before And after using Canva media there is difference results percentage seen from the data obtained through interview to colleague colleague And participant educate. Abstract

Educational success depends on leadership. Schools can move towards improving quality and service if the principal chooses the right leadership style. The purpose of this study is to provide a description and analysis of the principal's leadership style at SMP Negeri 27 Bandar Lampung in an effort to improve the performance of teachers and education personnel, and to examine the factors that influence the principal's leadership style. This research uses a qualitative approach, namely field research, where data is collected in the field to see phenomena in a natural environment. The data collection methods used in this research are interviews or interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchers used the Triangulation technique to test the validity of the data. The results of the study include several leadership styles: (1) democratic leadership; (2) autocratic leadership; (3) bureaucratic leadership; (4) charismatic leadership; (5) transformational; and (6) transactional leadership.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of innovation in mathematics lessons with the use of learning models that cause students to lack understanding of mathematics and students' lack of response in paying attention as evidenced by the low level of student understanding in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and increase in understanding of mathematics learning between the control class which was given conventional learning treatment and the experimental class which was given the discovery learning model treatment on increasing elementary school students' understanding of mathematics. This research is a quasi-experimental research with the research design used is nonequivalent control group desgin. The samples in this study were fifth grade students of SD N 1 Langensari consisting of 2 classes, namely V A control class and V B experimental class with a total of 50 students. Data collection techniques in the study used tests and observations. The pretest and posttest tests given to the research sample classes were in the form of the same questions and comprehension observation sheets. After the test data was obtained, the researcher analyzed the data and showed that the average posttest in the experimental class was higher than the control class. In addition, the analysis was carried out with the Independent Sample Test test with the help of the SPSS 16 application, obtained the sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. Ngain test was conducted, obtained an average value of 0.72> 0.7 has a high effect. So it can be concluded that the effect of the discovery learning model on mathematical understanding is higher than the conventional class.

Abstract

In the current era of rapid technological progress, there are still many learning processes that only use books as the only source of learning information. Thus, the learning process does not provide interesting or valuable experiences for students. Such a learning process will be easier for students to forget, because what they learn is part of a conventional learning process which is carried out in one direction where students do two activities at once, namely listening and taking notes. This learning is conventional learning that has been used for a long time (Djafaar, 2001:86). In this case, one of the materials in class VI which has quite a large and extensive quantity of discussion is material regarding ASEAN. ASEAN material is included in the social studies material group in class VI elementary school. ASEAN material covers the diversity of history, economics, politics, culture and geographical conditions of each ASEAN country. Seeing the abundance and breadth of ASEAN material that students need to learn, e-ASEAN Interactive learning media was developed. The aim of creating e-ASEAN learning media is to provide learning media about ASEAN that can be accessed via laptops or devices, so that the learning process is more interesting and easy to do. This e-ASEAN interactive learning media was created using a link-based PDF, which in the design process used the Canva application.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the Implementation of Differentiated Learning in Indonesian Language Subjects at State Junior High School 1 Kendal, Kendal Regency. The sub-focus of this research is: How to map the learning needs of students by using three aspects, namely learning readiness, interest and learning profile, the implementation of differentiated learning in accordance with the lesson plan that has been made, and the implementation of evaluation and reflection with the aim of being able to see the shortcomings and advantages as material for improving future learning in Indonesian language subjects in class VIII of State Junior High School 1 Kendal Kendal Regency? This research uses a descriptive qualitative method of case study type and the data collection method is carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the research map the learning needs of students using three aspects, namely learning readiness, interest and learning profile, the implementation of differentiated learning in accordance with the lesson plan that has been made, and the implementation of evaluation and reflection with the aim of being able to see the shortcomings and strengths as material for improving future learning in Indonesian language subjects in class VIII State Junior High School 1 Kendal Kendal Regency, namely (1) differentiated learning based on learning readiness, interests and learning styles can be done in several ways, including: conducting diagnostic assessments before learning and analysing them, preparing lesson plans and devices based on learning readiness, interests, and learning styles of learners, implementing differentiated learning, and conducting evaluation, reflection and feedback, (2) effective teaching strategies are general patterns of teacher and learner activities in the realisation of learning activities to achieve competence as learning objectives optimally. Usually, to determine effective teaching strategies, teachers need to understand the characteristics of learners and choose strategies that suit their needs, and (3) evaluation and self-reflection are reports carried out by various activities such as classroom observation, giving questionnaires to learners about the implementation of learning and the results of evaluation and reflection are discussed with peers facilitated by schools for continuous work improvement involved in improving the quality of learning and the achievement of learner learning outcomes. The conclusion of this research is (1) differentiated learning that teachers must map the learning needs of students who are very complex. For this reason, teachers must have independent, reflective, collaborative, innovative, and learner-centred values as capital in implementing learner-centred learning, (2) the implementation of differentiated learning in accordance with the lesson plan that has been made in Indonesian language subjects is to explain learning outcomes, learning objectives, and the flow of learning objectives to be achieved, and (3) evaluation and reflection with the aim of being able to see the shortcomings and strengths as material for improving future learning in Indonesian language subjects is the implementation of an independent curriculum in schools, making teachers apply learning with a new paradigm.

Abstract

The performance of the school principal is one of the factors that becomes a benchmark for school success. The principal's performance in question is awareness of the need to implement the rules determined by the school. Having good organizational commitment will enable a teacher to benefit himself and the school. The objectives of this research are (1) to determine the influence of organizational commitment on the performance of school principals (2) to determine the influence of managerial skills on the performance of school principals (3) to determine the influence of organizational commitment and managerial skills together on the performance of state elementary school principals in Gunem District, Regency Rembang..The population of this study were teachers at 20 elementary schools in Gunem District, Rembang Regency, totaling 116 people, a sample of 90 teachers selected using proportional random sampling technique at each school. Validity, reliability and descriptive data analysis tests, single regression and multiple regression tests using the SPSS for Windows version 23 program. Research findings: (1) organizational commitment has a positive influence on principal performance of 38.5% with the regression equation Ŷ= 61.958 + 0.225X1, (2) managerial skills have a positive influence on principal performance of 60.6% with the regression equation Ŷ = 41.444 + 0.276X2, (3) organizational commitment and managerial skills together on the performance of school principals which is 62.4% with the regression equation Ŷ = 56.587 + 0.433X1 + 0.350X2, Based on the findings above: (1) the principal intensifies the evaluation of school performance results, (2) the principal increases supervision in the main work duties of teachers, (3) teachers increase involvement in school activities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of extracurricular activities at SDN Cipaku 03 and at SD Islam Ar-Rido. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The research subjects were extracurricular coaches and trainers at schools. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, inference and/or verification techniques. The research results show that the management of extracurricular activities that have been implemented includes planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating processes. Through creative activities such as extracurricular activities which have goals and principles as guidelines for their implementation, extracurricular activities are able to bridge students in the process of developing students' potential, interests and talents.
