Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh adanya bimbingan klasikal terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa SD Negeri 105424 Desa Bukit Cermin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif berdasarkan data yang ada di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan melaksanakan bimbingan klasikal untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 105424 Desa Bukit Cermin, melalui pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat, Terdapat perbedaan antara tingkat motivasi belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan bimbingan klasikal dan bimbingan klasikal berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan klasikal dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar pada siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Desa Bukit Cermin.Berdasarkan analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan klasikal pada siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 105424 Desa Bukit Cermin memiliki peningkatan dalam motivasi belajar.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of Social Science (IPS) learning through inquiry methods on elementary school students. In education, an important role is played to shape the character and knowledge of students, preparing them for future challenges. Innovative approaches to learning are key to creating an environment that supports better understanding, increasing students' interest and learning activities, especially in social studies subjects. This study uses the literature study method to analyze previous research journals related to the influence of social studies learning through inquiry methods. The results of the analysis show that the inquiry method is effective in improving students' understanding of concepts and skills, with the use of media considered important to make learning more interesting. In the implementation of inquiry methods in social studies teaching, the use of media helps overcome student boredom, increase learning motivation, and explain the material better. In addition, the online-based Inquiry learning model also contributes positively to students' learning outcomes and argument skills. The relationship between learning methods and student learning motivation is a key aspect, where students with high motivation tend to be more active and like to discuss, according to the characteristics of the inquiry method. Conversely, students with low motivation tend to be hesitant and lack confidence, hampering their ability in social studies practice. The development of social inquiry strategies includes social aspects in the classroom, the formation of hypothesis formulations, and testing hypotheses with facts. The advantage of the inquiry method lies in the development of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in a balanced manner, in accordance with the development of modern learning psychology.

Abstract

Visual ability plays a central role in the learning and guidance process. Visually impaired children often encounter difficulties in achieving minimum learning outcomes due to the limitations of their vision. Mathematics, as an essential subject, is sometimes perceived as challenging and less engaging by elementary school students, including those with special needs. To enhance understanding and academic performance, the teaching methods for mathematics need to be tailored to the students' needs. Specifically, visually impaired children require an approach that leverages their sensory abilities, such as hearing and tactile perception. This study explores three effective mathematics teaching methods for visually impaired children: jarimatika, drill, and blokjes media. The jarimatika method teaches students to use their fingers as counting tools, while the drill method emphasizes repetitive exercises to improve accuracy and speed in arithmetic. Blokjes media are employed to train arithmetic operations, especially downward addition series. Each method has a positive impact on the learning abilities of visually impaired students. Therefore, the selection of suitable mathematics teaching methods and adjustments to the students' conditions are crucial. This research provides insights into the effectiveness of the jarimatika, drill, and blokjes media methods in enhancing the mathematical learning outcomes of visually impaired children. The study utilizes a literature review method based on previous research and underscores the importance of teachers recognizing the specificity of each student and choosing appropriate teaching methods to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Problems in learning can come from anywhere, both from situations, students, teachers, and many more complex problems. Therefore, observations were made to identify what learning problems are happening in elementary schools today. The research was conducted by describing data from the field in the form of descriptive paragraphs. In the overall context of education, both teachers and students have their own roles and responsibilities in achieving learning success. By overcoming obstacles, taking solutive steps, and continuing to innovate, education can become more effective and relevant to prepare students for future challenges.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping the character and quality of human resources. One of the essential skills is the ability to read, which not only provides access to knowledge but also influences critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Bukit Cermin Hilir Village, as part of a developing community, faces specific challenges in education, particularly in the context of reading. Difficulty in reading can adversely affect the comprehension of study materials and academic performance among children. The role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers (BK) is vital in addressing these challenges. With a profound understanding of the psychological needs and development of children, BK Teachers can design effective intervention strategies to enhance the reading abilities of children in Bukit Cermin Hilir Village. This research aims to explore and analyze the role of BK Teachers in dealing with children who are not yet proficient in reading in this village. The study adopts a qualitative approach with field research methods. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in Bukit Cermin Hilir Village. The research endeavors to identify concrete solutions and practical recommendations to improve literacy levels among children in this village. The collaborative efforts are expected to contribute positively to enhancing the quality of education and the future prospects of children in Bukit Cermin Hilir Village.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of character education on student learning achievement in class VII at SMP Negeri 3 Boja. With a class VII population of 102 students and the sample in this study was taken 25% of the total population of 26 people. This research is quantitative research using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results obtained in this research are that there is an influence of character education on student learning achievement. This can be seen from the influence of character education which influences learning achievement by contributing 25%. This means that 75% of student learning achievement is influenced by other factors not examined in this research. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that character education influences student achievement results at SMP N 3 Boja, Boja District, Kendal Regency. This shows that the better character education is applied to students, the better the students' learning achievement at the school.

Abstract

In education, it is important to have facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process, such as classrooms, learning tools or media, libraries, and so on. Therefore, there is a need for management or administration to regulate facilities and infrastructure in education. Starting from procuring facilities and infrastructure in schools, checking facilities and infrastructure that are still considered incomplete, and so on. The location or place that was targeted in this research was an elementary school, specifically SDN Sempu 2, Serang City. In this research, researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods, where in this research researchers tended to use analysis or direct observation. Adequate facilities and infrastructure also influence student learning motivation. If the facilities and infrastructure are complete, then students' motivation to learn will be more active, enjoyable and comfortable. Students become happy in carrying out the learning process.

Abstract

Reading,writing and arithmetic skills are important aspects in elementary school. Student need to master aspects of reading, writing and arithmetic. These three aspects have an important role in learning, because by reading, writing and arithmetic children can learn various ways to improve their knowledge. The introduction and cultivation of calistung abilities can begin when children enter the lower grade level which is at the age of 7-9 years, where at this stage student enter the concrete operational stage which has introductive end deductive reasoning. Therefore, the author conducted research on the analysis of the introduction to basic stage learning of reading, writing and arithmetic at SDN Tembong 2. The method used in this research was a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Based on the result obtained from research, improving students reading, writing and arithmetic skills can be done by a playing several methods. In reading activities, researchers use the letter recognition method to provide an introduction for students who still have difficulty remembering the letters of the alphabet. Letter recognition is carried out using the singing method. This aims to ensure that students can remember each letter of the alphabet fluently. Regarding writing skills, almost all stardom still cannot write neatly and almost all student cannot differentiate between uppercase and lowercase letters. Regarding numeracy skills, there are some student who still cannot count but already known number. Based on this, in researcher introduced the finger method four students in order to provide an understanding of counting using the fingers.

Abstract

Advertising is one of the most widely known public services, from children to the elderly, because advertising itself is often used as a promotional tool for products and services. Based on this, the problem in this research is that students still experience difficulties in writing advertising texts. Therefore, the aim of this research is to attract students' interest in writing advertising texts using the image media provided. The method used is the research development (R&D) method with a 4D model. The results of the research show that the validation results of the development of this image media were 91.10%. This indicates that the validation of the development of this image media is very valid, and the results of the practicality test were 78.14%. This figure indicates that the use of image media in the process of learning to write text advertising is practical

Abstract

Early childhood is a child in the age range of 0-6 years who is in a sensitive period, namely in a condition of very rapid growth and development. Aspects of development at this age must be stimulated optimally. Our job as parents or teachers is to facilitate their growth and development. One aspect of the development of children aged 0-6 years that must be developed is social emotional development. Social development is the ability to behave according to social demands. Meanwhile, emotional development is a complex condition that can take the form of feelings or mental vibrations which are characterized by biological changes that appear to accompany a behavior. Children's emotional development is a form of communication so that children can express all their needs and feelings to other people. Emotional development can also influence a child's personality and adjustment in socializing with the environment. The social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years can be stimulated through play activities. Play activities can prepare children to face learning experiences to socialize and how children learn to control emotions appropriately when socializing. One game that can stimulate the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years is role playing.
