Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the mathematical learning outcomes of fourth grade students, especially in equivalent fraction material. The background problem in this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of class IV SDN 044/VIII Teluk Singkawang. The effort to overcome this problem is by applying a problem-based learning model in mathematics learning with equivalent fraction material. In this study using the type of Pre-Experimental Design with a research design that is One-Group-Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN 044/VIII Teluk Singkawang with a total of 22 students. The results of the observation data were calculated and compared based on the criteria with the normality test and hypothesis testing using the SPSS 20 application at a level of 0.05. Based on the results of hypothesis testing from the Wilcoxon Nonparametric test, a significant result was obtained of 0.018. Because the significant value obtained is 0.018 <0.05, the results of the Wilcoxon Nonparametric test can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the researcher can conclude that there is a significant influence on the application of problem-based learning models to learning outcomes in mathematics on fractional material equivalent to class IV SDN 044/VIII Singkawang Bay.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low writing skills of students. This research is a type of quantitative research with quasi experimental method. The design of this research is nonequivalent control group while the population used is all fourth grade students with samples used as many as 2 classes, namely class IV C as the experimental class and class IV D as the control class. The results showed: 1) The description of the implementation of learning in the experimental class has been well implemented. This can be proven by the average posttest score data of students who have an increase of 82.32 after being taught using the contextual teaching and learning learning model. 2) There is an increase in students' writing skills between students who only use the lecture method and students who use the contextual teaching and learning model. This is evident from the results of the gain test there is an increase of 47% in the experimental class and an increase of 29% in the control class. 3) Based on the results of the effect size test, the use of the contextual teaching and learning model has a moderate effect. Based on the results of the analysis of this study, it can be concluded that the use of contextual teaching and learning model can affect students' description writing skills.

Abstract

In the learning process at school there are several obstacles, including some students showing symptoms of not being able to achieve the expected learning outcomes. The problem of learning disorders is often found, one of which is difficulty reading and writing. In fact, one of the learning successes of students in participating in learning activities is determined by their ability to read and write, for this reason teachers must have an understanding and handling of students' dyslexia. The aim of this research is to increase understanding of the characteristics and symptoms of dyslexia in students at MIN 1 Pontianak. The techniques used are interviews, observation and data documentation. The treatments used are general treatment and specific treatment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA SDIT Nurul Ikhlas Padang kelas IV menggunakan model Inkuiri. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif sebagai studi pendahuluan (bagian dari tahapan 4D). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SDIT Nurul Ikhlas Padang kelas IV. Dimana instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk pengambilan data adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara). Terdapat beberapa permasalahan yaitu kekurangan bahan ajar yang mendukung proses pembelajran serta kurang efektifnya bahan ajar yang beredar saat ini dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik untuk subyek dengan kemampuan awal akademik tinggi, sedang maupun rendah berada pada kategori sangat rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Jigsaw pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri 24 Ujung Gurun Padang pada aspek kognitif. Nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) untuk mata pelajaran IPA yang ditetapkan oleh SD Negeri 24 Ujung Gurun Padang adalah 80 dan disekolah menerapkan kurikulum 2013. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 24 Ujung Gurun Padang. Data yang yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil belajar IPA siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Tes yang digunakan yaitu tes objektif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 87 dan pada kelas control yaitu 35. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan thitung 5,359 > 2,004 ttabel pada taraf nyata signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Terdapat penarapan model pembelajaran Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 24 Ujung Gurun Padang. Penulis memberikan saran agar dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran jigsaw pada proses pembelajaran dengan tahap pelaksanaan yang baik sehingga mencapai hasil belajar yang optimal.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This classroom action research aims to find out whether Project Based Learning (PjBL)could increase the science learning activity of grade IV elementary school students, and PjBL steps could increase science learning activity. The subjects of this research were 4th grade students consisting of 6 male and 10 famale. The classroom action research model uses lesson study, namely through a plan-do/see-reflection cycle carried out at least 2 cycles. Data collection techniques used non-tests namely: observation, interviews and learning activity measurement rubrics. The data analysis technique used was comparative descriptive analysis technique, namely comparing pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 science learning activity through PjBL. The PjBL steps used in learning science BAB I Tumbuhan Sumber Kehidupan di Bumi topik A. Bagian Tubuh Tumbuhan were Students find problems regarding the parts and functions of plant bodies 2) Plan to make a Leaf Eco-Print project 3) Prepare a project implementation schedule Leaf Eco-Print 4) Investigate leaf types and create Eco-Print 5) Monitor the progress of the Leaf Eco-Print project 6) Present the results of the Leaf Eco-Print project 7) Evaluate the implementation of the Leaf Eco-Print project. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in science learning activity in PjBL from pre-cycle to cycle 1 and from pre-cycle to cycle 2, namely 40.75%: 75% and 40.75%: 87.5%, with indicators of learning activity including note-taking activity, reading activity, discussion activity and listening activity. Increase of science learning activity in science subject among students through the PjBL were proven. ABSTRAK Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas IV SD, dan bagaimanakah langkah-langkah PjBL yang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar IPAS. Subyek dari penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas 4 yang terdiri dari 6 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Model penelitian Tindakan kelas menggunakan lesson study yaitu melalui siklus plan-do/see-refleksi yang dilakukan minimal 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan non tes berupa: observasi, wawancara dan rubrik pengukuran keaktifan belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif yaitu membandingkan keaktifan belajar IPAS prasiklus, siklus 1, dan siklus 2 melalui PjBL. Langkah-langkah PjBL yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS BAB I Tumbuhan Sumber Kehidupan di Bumi topik A. Bagian Tubuh Tumbuhan adalah 1) Peserta didik menemukan masalah mengenai bagian dan fungsi tubuh tumbuhan 2) Merencanakan membuat proyek Eco-Print Daun 3) Menyusun jadwal pelaksanaan proyek Eco-Print Daun 4) Melakukan investigasi jenis daun dan pembuatan Eco-Print 5) Memonitor kemajuan proyek Eco-Print Daun 6) Mempresentasikan hasil proyek Eco-Print Daun 7) Evaluasi pelaksanaan proyek Eco-Print Daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keaktifan belajar IPAS dalam PjBL dari prasiklus ke siklus 1 dan dari prasiklus ke siklus 2 adalah 40,75%:75% dan 40,75%:87,5%, dengan indikator keaktifan belajar meliputi keaktifan mencatat, keaktifan membaca, keaktifan berdiskusi dan keaktifan mendengar. Jadi peningkatan keaktifan belajar IPAS pada peserta didik dapat diupayakan melalui pendekatan PjBL dapat dibuktikan.

Abstract

Scientific literacy refers to the ability to utilize scientific knowledge, identify questions, and draw conclusions from facts to comprehend the universe and make decisions related to changes triggered by human activities. The importance of scientific literacy for students lies in its role as a key to continuing scientific learning. With a command of scientific literacy, students can comprehend various issues such as the environment, health, economics, and other problems within modern society closely tied to technology and advancements in scientific knowledge. This study aims to assess the mastery of scientific literacy in the aspects of knowledge and scientific processes among 4th-grade students at SDN 4 Karangbener. The research sample consisted of 17 randomly selected students. The research findings indicate that the scientific literacy skills of 4th-grade students are still relatively low, with an average score of 52.6 in terms of the knowledge aspect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the direc and indirect influence of principal leadership and work motivation on teacher performance. Education in schools cannot be separated from the role of teachers, where teachers in the world of education are very much needed in the teaching and learning process and distributing information that occurs in schools. Teachers are the most important human resources who are able to help students gain knowledge, insight and develop good personalities at school. Teachers have a big role and influence in realizing educational goals. However, the problem currently faced relating to the work motivation of elementary school teachers in Boja District is the low desire of teachers to learn IT, every time there are seminars or workshops related to increasing competency, not a few teachers only pay and entrust their names, apart from These teachers also copied previous tools in compiling administrative learning such as Syllabus, KI, KD, RPP, PROTA, and PROMES. This usually happens to create a mismatch with the conditions that exist in the field. This research is quantitative in nature using path analysis as data analysis using SPSS and Sobel. The sample for this research consisted of 46 teachers consisting of 12 elementary schools in Boja District, and was taken using Proportionated Cluster Random Sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The results of the research show that the direct influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation has an influence on teacher performance. Meanwhile, the indirect influence of motivation is able to mediate the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance. In conclusion, there is an influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation on teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif untuk menjelaskan pengaruh penguatan sikap bernalar kritis pada 23 siswa SD N Wringinputih 1 melalui pendekatan berbasis permainan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan permainan sebagai pendekatan untuk penguatan karakter bernalar kritis memiliki dampak yang signifikan pada siswa sekolah dasar. Mereka mengalami peningkatan dalam kemampuan menganalisis informasi, mempertimbangkan sudut pandang yang berbeda, membuat keputusan yang rasional, dan memecahkan masalah kompleks. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi efektifitas media dan pentingnya memahami peran permainan sebagai alat yang efektif untuk melatih sikap bernalar kritis pada siswa sekolah dasar, serta menekankan pentingnya mengintegrasikan pendekatan berbasis permainan dalam pembelajaran untuk sikap berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the learning difficulties factors of elementary school students in mathematics lessons, and to find out what materials students do not understand in mathematics lessons. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The aim of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) research method is to transmit, review and recognize relevant research so that it is able to answer questions in the specified research. The results of the research show that the factors causing elementary school students' learning difficulties in mathematics learning are that internal factors include (1) Interest, students who are less interested in participating in mathematics learning, plus students in the class are less focused and serious in following the teaching and learning process as per the students' views. always leads to outside the classroom when the teacher explains the material, (2) Factors of students' learning habits, less accurate learning of students who only study when there are tests (3) Factors of students' health, can influence the level of students' concentration in learning mathematics, if the student's body is lacking healthy, it can influence student learning outcomes.
