Abstract

Leaders in an organization have an important role in directing and influencing their subordinates. Without people managing and directing an organization, the organization can undoubtedly achieve its goals in accordance with its vision and mission. Therefore, a leader is needed to be able to manage and regulate the organization to achieve its goals. This research aims to examine the importance of leadership in organizations using a literature approach applied at SDN 2 Trisobo, Boja District. This type of research is research with a literature study approach which is carried out by finding theoretical references that are appropriate to the cases obtained. A leader is a positive and confident person who has a vision, mission and high ethical values, with the ability to convey ideas and is able to encourage and relate well to other people. Leadership will be a determining factor for success in an organization. This is because leadership is the central point of significant change in an organization, leadership becomes a personality that has an impact and leadership is the art of creating organizational conformity and stability.

Abstract

The quality of learning in madrasahs is influenced by many factors, including academic supervision and teacher work motivation. In managing madrasahs, academic supervision greatly influences the quality of learning. This heavy responsibility requires cooperation with the staff as well as comprehensive support from the community or stakeholders. Teacher supervision and work motivation play an important role in improving the quality of learning. In other words, academic supervision helps create progress or quality of learning. The aims of this research are: (1) To explain the influence of academic supervision on the quality of learning at private Tsanawiyah Madrasahs in Tahunan District, Jepara Regency, (2) To explain the influence of teacher work motivation on the quality of learning at private Tsanawiyah Madrasahs in Tahunan District, Jepara Regency, (3) ) To explain the influence of academic supervision and teacher work motivation on the quality of learning at private Tsanawiyah Madrasahs in Tahunan District, Jepara Regency. This research approach is quantitative research. The population in this study was 147 teachers from 7 private Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) in Tahunan District, Jepara Regency. A sample of 107 teachers was selected using proportional random sampling technique at each madrasah. Data collection uses questionnaires. Data processing and descriptive data analysis, using the SPSS for Windows version 20. The research findings show: (1) there is an influence of academic supervision on the quality of learning of 40.4% with the implementation of supervision as the weakest factor, (2) there is an influence of teacher work motivation on the quality of learning of 23.5% with external motivation as the weakest factor, (3) there is an influence of academic supervision and teacher work motivation together on the quality of learning of 41.4% with the implementation of learning as the weakest factor. Suggestions to (1) madrasah heads to intensify evaluation of academic supervision results and report periodically each semester for all teachers, (2) madrasah heads to increase teacher work motivation by giving awards/rewards to teachers for his achievements, (3) teachers to play a role in madrasah strategic agendas.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to provide all readers with an understanding of the importance of early literacy in children aged 4-6 years in developing all aspects of development that can be integrated with all learning activities. Some people's views on early literacy are too high so that early literacy is linked to academic achievement at the elementary school level. As a result, early literacy in children aged 4-6 years or what is often referred to as preschool age may be ignored or considered less significant than academic readiness at a higher level. This has resulted in the view that literacy in children aged 4-6 years is reading and arithmetic. Many people also think that children learn by writing and calculating using worksheets or books. The many inaccurate assumptions about early literacy are very inconsistent with the basic principles of learning for children aged 4-6 years, which are still considered early childhood. Several alternative solutions to problems related to misunderstanding of early literacy can be done by returning to the principles of learning in early childhood, one of which is playing. In this case the author chose to play with letters and numbers which can be used for early literacy skills in children aged 4-6 years.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a critical stage in establishing the basis for child development, including aspects of creativity. This research aims to present a literature review that explores how differentiated learning approaches can be used to increase children's creativity at the PAUD level. Involving analysis of various literary sources such as journals, books and articles, this research explores the strategies and impact of differentiated learning on the creative development of early childhood. The problem in the field is that many schools still use conventional methods where children just sit, be quiet and listen, thereby limiting children's creativity. Children will be said to be smart when they silently follow all of the teacher's instructions, so through this article the author wants to convey how to make children more creative through differentiated learning

Abstract

Learning media is closely related to the learning process. Learning media is a tool used by educators or teachers in delivering learning materials so that they are easily understood by students. With the media, the learning process is more interesting and not monotonous. This research and development produces a product in the form of character education poster media at the Early Childhood Education school in Salu Pattung Hamlet, Mamuju Regency. The purpose of this development research is to determine the level of need for character education poster media, to determine the design of character education poster media and to determine the level of validity and practicality of character education poster media. This research uses the type of R&D (Research and Development) research. This research uses the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at PAUD Salu Pattung Hamlet, Mamuju Regency. The data sources in this study were 2 validators consisting of material validators and media validators, 7 students and 2 teachers. Data were collected through material expert validation, media validation, limited trial, field trial and teacher response. The results of the observation before this research was conducted stated that poster media is needed in the character education process. While the validation by material and media experts was at a very good qualification, the limited trial and field trial received very good qualifications and the teacher's response was also at a very good qualification. The conclusion of this study is that the level of need for poster media products is needed and has been valid and practical for use in early childhood character education.

Abstract

Membaca adalah kemampuan berbahasa, kemampuan membaca sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Membaca adalah dasar bagi siswa untuk memahami teks. Sejak awal, pembelajaran membaca harus diperhatikan. Untuk menghindari situasi membaca yang tidak menyenangkan, kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa yang terbilang rendah harus segera diperbaiki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memecahkan dua masalah: (1) bagaimana big book digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca awal siswa kelas rendah, yaitu siswa kelas 1 SDN 1 Cibadak, dan (2) hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa setelah menggunakan big book pada awal pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang dengan penelitian deskriptif. Siswa SDN 1 Cibadak kelas 1 yang berjumlah 18 orang merupakan subjek penelitian ini. Observasi dan tes yang digunakan dalam metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan buku besar meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa di kelas rendah. Tahapan tes yang dilakukan peneliti menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran menggunakan big book. Karena itu, penggunaan big book sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan cocok untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas rendah.

Abstract

The problem regarding the transformational leadership of school principals is regarding teacher performance, namely in terms of teachers' lack of attention in making PTK, as evidenced by the eight teachers, only 1 teacher was active in making PTK, even though in making this PTK the teacher could maximize his performance by evaluating the results. obtained so that teacher performance can be maximized, especially in terms of teaching in class. The job of most school principals is still only as a punisher, not as a guide, because giving punishment does not necessarily have a significant effect on the level of teacher absenteeism, even though by providing positive guidance to teachers, teachers become closer and more comfortable with this behavior, which in the end all teachers are conscious in their actions. Then the problem is that school principals are less appreciative of increasing competency development for teachers so that teachers' teaching methods are still focused on the previous model, ignoring the real conditions in the field. The implication of this research is that the principal's transformational leadership on teacher performance is to improve the quality of student education in the Bebengan 3 State Elementary School (SD) environment. If the leadership used by the principal increases, it can be ensured that teacher performance will also increase, thus having an impact on the quality of education produced.

Abstract

Potret pendidikan sekarang yang serba canggih tetapi tidak dibarengi dengan karakter disiplin bagi peserta didik menjadi dua mata pisau yang berlawanan dengan cita-cita pendidikan yang diharapkan menjadi generasi emas bagi gen Z dimasa depan. Karakter Disiplin adalah pendidikan yang sangat penting untuk diterapkan sedini mungkin terhadap peserta didik. Pentingnya pengembangan kurikulum yang terfokus pada analisis budaya positif sekolah sebagai benteng utama dalam memperkuat karakter disiplin dilingkungan sekolah dasar. Hal ini dilakukan agar karakter tersebut dapat melekat hingga mereka dewasa serta menjadikan manusia yang baik berkualitas. Berbagai permasalahan seperti Berita tentang seorang guru yang dilaporkan karena mendisiplinkan siswa agar ikut sholat duhur adalah pukulan keras bagi dunia pendidikan.kasus tersebut adalah 1 dari banyak kasus yang dihadapi seorang pendidik untuk menertibkan siswanya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitan ini peneliti mendisikripsikan atau menggambarkan tentang budaya sekolah mendukung penguatan karakter disiplin di SD 01 Sengare. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal yang berperan penting dalam membentuk dan memperkuat karakter peserta didik dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana penguatan karakter disiplin dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler di SD N 01 Sengare dapat dijadikan rujukan dan tolak ukur dalam melakukan penelitian dengan cangkupannya lebih luas tentang budaya sekolah dalam mendukung penguatan karakter disiplin disekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Project Based Learning model on learning outcomes for the object sub-theme in economic activities. The sample for this research was 54 class V students at SD Negeri Mekarsari. Data collection techniques in this research used objective tests. Data collection was carried out to obtain learning outcomes or N-Gain obtained by using pretest and posttest. The results showed that there was an effect of applying the Project Based Learning model to the results of learning the sub-theme of objects in economic activities. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the average N-Gain score for the experimental class, namely 83 and the average N-Gain score for the control class, namely 64. Then the results of the hypothesis test using the t test obtained tcount (18,81) > ttable (2,00665) with dk (degrees of freedom) = 52 and a significant level of 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Project Based Learning model on the the object sub-theme in economic activities in class V SD Negeri Mekarsari.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to discuss how to choose the right school for children with special needs, including those with disabilities, and inclusion or special schools. Special schools offer a more focused approach to helping children with special needs, while inclusive schools promote inclusive and equitable education. To conduct this research, this research conducted an analysis of scientific literature related to this topic. The results of this analysis help us understand the debates and important issues related to educational placement decisions for children with special needs. The results of this research show that inclusive schools and special schools differ in terms of curriculum, teachers, facilities, methods and costs. The child's unique needs and available resources must be considered when making placement decisions. One of the main priorities is improving inclusive schools that support social inclusion and strengthening special schools that provide intensive support for children with special needs. This research increases our understanding of the importance of making informed decisions about the education of children with special needs; These decisions impact the development of children and society as a whole. This research reached the conclusion that it provides practical insight into educational decision-making processes and about efforts to create more inclusive and equitable educational environments for children with special needs.
