Abstract

This Research aims to improve student learning discipline by applying the Problem based Learning model to the class VIII Civics subject at MTs Al washliyah Kolam.This tipes of research is class room action research carried out in 2 cycles.The research instruments are observation sheets and test. The data obtained was analyzed using quantitative analysis to calculate the percentage increase.based on data analysis, it turn out that students Civics experiences an increase in learning discipline every cycle. The average increase in student learning discipline from cycle I to cycle IIincreased, in cycle I the average learning disciplinr test was 65,59% and in cycle II the average learning discipline test was 77,35%. The increase in Civics learning discipline in cyle I was 25,53%, then uncreased in cycle II to 75,53%. The conclucion of this reasearsch is that the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning discipline of class VIII student at MTs Al Washliyah Kolam

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine students' understanding after using the case study learning method and to provide guidance that the use of the case study learning method in Civics subjects can arouse student interest. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research Design (PTK). The subjects of this research are students of class VIIIA2 Al-Washliyah 16, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, which consists of 33 students with 17 female students and 16 male students. The application of the case study learning method can have a positive influence in improving student learning outcomes in PPKn class VIIIA2 MTs Al-Washliyah 16 Kec. Perbaungan, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The level of student learning completeness in cycle I was 15.16% and increased in cycle II by 69.70%. So the level of completeness of student learning outcomes from cycle I and cycle II has increased by 50%, so the desired target has been achieved for the completeness of student learning outcomes, because at the end of the cycle it has reached the specified target, namely 70%. The application of the case study learning method can increase the results of the percentage of teacher teaching activities from cycle I and cycle II which has increased due to the reform efforts made by the teacher after reflecting on the results of the implementation of cycle I with the average value of the percentage of teacher activities being 43.33% and increasing by 36.67% in cycle II to 80%. The teacher's role in learning influences student learning outcomes, this is because teachers play an important role in managing the learning path from the planning process to the assessment process

Abstract

This study aims to build student identity through local wisdom-based Civics learning, knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in building student identity and analyzing the role of teachers in building student identity through local wisdom-based Civics learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive data analysis. The data sources in this study were obtained from direct interviews with students and Civics teachers at SMAS Dharma Utama Sukasari. This research data collection uses interview methods, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data grouping, identified, described, and analyzed one by one to get the desired results and be able to draw conclusions from the data. The results showed that the application of local wisdom-based Civics learning was able to improve students' understanding of local cultural values. Students not only know, but also internalize local cultural values in their daily lives. Supporting factors found include full support from the school, active involvement of teachers in the learning process, and student enthusiasm. The inhibiting factors identified include limited resources and learning materials, as well as the lack of training for teachers in integrating local wisdom in learning. The conclusion of this research is that local wisdom-based Civics learning is very effective in building students' identity

Abstract

Learning media is an important aspect of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The development of comic media has become one of the options for improving students' learning achievements. This research aims to determine the feasibility level of the comic media used in mathematics learning on the topic of fractions. The research method uses the 4D development model, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The eligibility level is determined by measuring validity using a questionnaire distributed to one media expert and two content experts. The media validity results show a score of 4.9 with a percentage of 97.6%. Meanwhile, the validation from the two content experts shows a score of 4.3 with a percentage of 87.5%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the comic media "Learning Together with Alia" for teaching mathematics on the topic of fractions is suitable for trial with fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional (SEL) dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia guna meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 2 UPT SPF SDN Labuang Baji 1, Kota Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Implementasi SEL dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dilakukan melalui berbagai kegiatan yang dirancang khusus untuk mengembangkan aspek sosial dan emosional peserta didik. Kegiatan-kegiatan ini mencakup diskusi kelompok, permainan peran, dan proyek kolaboratif yang memungkinkan peserta didik untuk berinteraksi, berkomunikasi, dan bekerja sama dengan teman sebayanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan sosial emosional peserta didik, seperti kemampuan komunikasi, empati, kerja sama, dan pengelolaan emosi. Sebelum penerapan SEL, hanya 40% peserta didik yang aktif berkomunikasi, namun setelah siklus kedua, 85% peserta didik lebih terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Peningkatan ini terlihat dari cara peserta didik berinteraksi dengan guru dan teman sekelas, serta kemampuan mereka dalam mengekspresikan pikiran dan perasaan secara lebih efektif. Selain itu, hasil belajar akademik peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan yang menggembirakan. Pada akhir siklus kedua, 85% peserta didik berhasil mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan keterampilan sosial emosional memiliki dampak positif terhadap kemampuan akademik peserta didik, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Dengan demikian, penerapan SEL terbukti efektif dalam membantu peserta didik tidak hanya berkembang secara akademik, tetapi juga dalam aspek sosial dan emosional. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya integrasi SEL dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar untuk mendukung perkembangan holistik peserta didik. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students’ collaboration skills on the material comparing two dimentional shape (triangle and quadrilateral) using the learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT). The low skills of student collaboration skills marked when they are discussing or working in a group, they tend to do their own duties without discussing with its group members. The subject in this study were the students of grade V of SDN Bugel 02. This study was a study of classroom actions carried out in two cycles, namely the I cycle and the II cycle, each cycle consists of planning, actions, observations, and reflection. The study instruments used are observation and documentation’s sheet. Data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. Qualitative and quantitative descriptions in this study were used to describe the increase in the results of student collaboration skills. The results showed an initial 61% increase in the cycle I and improve to 85% in the cycle II. This enchancement occurred because the TGT model encouraged students to be more active during learning activity, so that their collaboration skills increased. And it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning models TGT manages to improve collaboration skills.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the of using nteractive digital learning media based on Animaker in improving students' learning outcomes in science subjects at UPT SPF SMPN 21 Makassar. The background of this research is the lack of variety in the learning media used by teachers, which causes student boredom and negatively impacts their learning outcomes. This research employs a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population consists of 272 students spread across 7 classes, with a purposive sample of class VIII G comprising 28 students. The research instruments used include interviews and tests, while data analysis is conducted using statistical techniques such as pretest, posttest, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test, processed through SPSS version 29. The results show a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes after using Animaker-based learning media, where the t-test value is greater than the t-table, thus accepting both H0 and Hi. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Animaker-based interactive digital learning media is effective in enhancing the science learning outcomes of class VIII G students at UPT SPF SMPN 21 Makassar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of students who still have difficulty reading and some still have difficulty reading. The aim of this research is to produce word wall learning media that is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stage ( evaluation). The validity results of the word wall media were validated by 3 validators, namely material expert validation obtained a result of 86.1% which was categorized as very valid, linguist validation obtained a result of 83.3% which was categorized as very valid, media expert validation obtained a result of 81.66% which was categorized as very valid, The results of the practicality of word wall media through the teacher response questionnaire by class III teachers obtained a result of 100% which was categorized as very practical, while through the response questionnaire an average result of 93.54% was categorized as very practical. The effectiveness results obtained from the main school students' learning test results obtained an average of 95%, which was categorized as very effective.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of teaching materials in the learning process, especially in making teaching materials. The teaching materials used in this school still use textbooks and worksheets as the teaching materials used. This school needs creative teaching materials that can attract students' attention in the learning process, especially when reading, while students like to learn using interesting learning media so that when reading, not only text, students also enjoy seeing pictures, in this school lack of interesting learning media. In this research, researchers want to develop LKPD. This research aims to make LKPD attractive and creative. Types of research and development Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this research is the 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely the definition stage (Define), the design stage (Design), the development stage (Develop), the deployment stage (Dessiminate). The types of data collection taken in this research were interview sheets, validity, practicality and effectiveness instruments. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include validity, practicality and effectiveness data analysis. The validation results by graphics experts were 84% in the very valid category, content/material experts 88.88% in the valid category, linguists 85.71% in the very valid category. the results of the questionnaire data analysis, the responses of teachers and class IV students were 100% in the very practical category. The results of effectiveness data analysis through test questions with an average score of 89.47% in the effective category.

The validation results by graphics experts were 70.4% in the very valid category, content/material experts 83.3% in the valid category, linguists 89.2% in the very valid category. the results of the questionnaire data analysis, the responses of teachers and class IV students were 100% in the very practical category. The results of effectiveness data analysis through test questions with an average score of 87.5% in the effective category.
