Abstract

Early childhood education is the beginning in forming a child's character and attitudes. Early childhood knowledge and learning strategies are required. This is necessary to explore children's interest in language skills. Early childhood language skills can arise when there is external stimulation. One way is through pictorial media. This research discusses the low language skills of young children. Based on children's problems, several children's problems can be identified, namely in expressing words, children have difficulty in stringing words together, many children are still shy about conveying words to the teacher during learning activities in class, children less independent in class activities, children do not know vocabulary and words, which means that children cannot differentiate between the words that children say and are still not perfect. The aim of this research is to improve the language skills of early childhood through picture books for children aged 5-6 years in Namarome Kindergarten child Mary. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) using the picture book storytelling method for children aged 5-6 years at Mary's Children's Kindergarten Namorambe T.A 2022/2023. This research consisted of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. At each meeting the researcher carried out learning outcomes tests on children to determine the child's improvement. In the pre-cycle the children's average score was 38%, in the first cycle the average score was 64.32%. in cycle II the average was 89% and the percentage of children categorized as developing very well each cycle also increased. Using the picture book storytelling method can improve the language skills of young children at Mary's Children's Kindergarten Namorambe T.A 2022/2023.

Abstract

This development aims to determine the feasibility of learning media, namely modern-based engklek media for early childhood learning activities. This research is a type of research and development or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages, namely. Analysis, related to the analysis of the work environment situation so that it can be found what products need to be developed. Design, is the activity of designing products that are in accordance with what is needed. Development, is the activity of making and testing products. Implementation, is the activity of using the product. And Evaluation, is the activity of assessing whether each step of the activity and product that has been made is in accordance with the specifications or not. The focus of this study is the development of modern-based engklek media. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire given to the validator, namely the material expert validator, and the media expert validator. The results of the validation from the material expert carried out by the validator were obtained with an average total of 96% with the criteria "Very Eligible", and the results of the validation from the media expert were obtained with an average total of 98.4% with the criteria "Very Eligible". According to the validation results by the two validators, the modern-based hopscotch game media is suitable for use in the learning process in early childhood education. These are the results of the development of modern-based hopscotch media at Sejathtera II Namorambe Kindergarten, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) the listening skills of young children in storytelling activities; (2) children are able to respond and communicate well through stories told by researchers; (3) see whether or not the story apron media has an influence on children's listening abilities. The design of this research method uses a one group pretest-posttest design research model, that in this type of method there is a pretest before the treatment is carried out. In this way, the results of the treatment can be known more accurately because they can be compared with the initial conditions before the treatment was carried out. The sample in this study was 30 class B children, but 15 people were the subjects and the child population was 40 people. The method used for collecting research data is through observation. The method for analyzing research data is the t-test. As a result of this research, the researcher concluded that there was an influence of learning using story apron media on the listening ability of group B children at Bunda Rinny Sartika Kindergarten 2024. It can be proven from the results of hypothesis calculations carried out during the posttest and the results of the data normality test. It can be seen that the variants are declared homogeneous. then when testing the hypothesis from the results of the t-test calculations, the value obtained or t_count>t_tabel or 3.43> 1.782 which can be interpreted as accepting〖H〗_and rejecting H_(0,) and from the results of this research hypothesis it states that there is a significant influence with the use story apron media on children's listening skills.

Abstract

Beginning reading skills are the simplest reading skills. Beginning reading skills include several activities such as recognizing letters and words, connecting them with sounds or voicing letters, syllables, and sentences formed in writing into oral form. The ability to read at the beginning is the basic skill of the child, if the basic ability is not strong then the period at the next stage the children have difficulty. This early reading ability is a provision for children to enter the next level. Researchers provide sandpaper letters as a learning medium that can help overcome the ability of beginning reading in children at Tk Vizahri. Sandpaper letter is one of the learning media used in the Montessori method as an exercise to build the muscle mechanism needed for the ability to hold and use stationery then the child's finger that has been trained through the activity of feeling the shapes of letters to complement the child's visual knowledge of letters. Based on the results of the study, the use of sandpaper letter media can be used to improve the initial reading skills of group B children at Vizahri Kindergarten which is proven through the normality test through one-sample Kolmogorov Smirnov with the sig value obtained. Smirnov Test > alpha level = 0.05. The data obtained is 0.725> 0.05 and the hypothesis test is obtained with the value of Thitung = 1.934> 1.720, and because dk = (n-1) = 19 and the real level ɑ = 0.05 so it can be concluded that Thitung> Ttabel (1.934) (1.720) thus the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant effect of using sandpaper letter media on the ability to read beginning in children 5-6 years in Vizahri Kindergarten

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the effect of using loose parts media of mathematical logic intelligences in children aged 5-6 years in RA Al-Hidayah District Medang Selayang School year 2023-2024. The type of sample selection used by researchers is using a Non-Probability sampling sample type, namely saturated sampling. The type off research used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest desaign using loose parts media. The research intruments and data collection techniques used were observation and documentation sheets. Based on the results of data analysis in the normality test using one sample kolmogorov-smirnov, the sig. Sirnov test > alpha level = 0,05, while the data obtained is 0.054 > 0.05. based on the results of the hypothesis, The Tcount value = 1.906 > 1.721 and because dk = (n-1) = 21 and the real level of alpha = 0.05 so it can be conccluded that the value of T.count > T.Table, thus hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant influence of the use of loose parts media on mathematical logic intelligences in children aged 5-6 years in RA Al-Hidayah District. Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes through animated video media in class V science learning at SD Inpres Mangasa. The subjects in this research were 15 students in class V of SD Inpres Mangasa for the 2024/2025 academic year, consisting of 8 girls and 7 boys. Data collection techniques use observation sheets, documentation, and learning outcomes tests, data analysis techniques are quantitative descriptive. The research results show that animated video media can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Inpres Mangasa. The increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from the value of learning outcomes in cycle I which reached the KKM as many as 6 students or 40%, while in cycle II there were 12 students or 80%. Therefore, it can be concluded that improving students' cognitive learning outcomes through animated video media in class V science learning at SD Inpres Mangasa has classically achieved the success criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini membahas tentang pengembangan LKPD berbasis kearifan lokal pada budaya Sumatera Utara menggunakan aplikasi QuizWhizzer pada materi pecahan pada kelas V UPT SDN 060911 Medan Denai menggunakan desain penelitian R & D (Research and Development) dengan model 4-D yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Validator Ahli. Sedangkan Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah LKPD berbasis kearifan lokal budaya Sumatera Utara menggunakan aplikasi QuizWhizzer yang dilaksanakan di UPT SDN 060911 yang berlokasi di Jl. Menteng VII, Kec. Medan Denai, Kota Medan, Prov. Sumatera Utara tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen penelitian berupa instrumen validasi ahli serta angket respon guru dan siswa. Hasil rata-rata skor angket yang didapatkan dari ahli materi 74,7% dan ahli media 88 % serta rata-rata keseluruhan skor dari respon guru adalah 98% dan respon siswa adalah 89,2%. Dari keseluruhan skor dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan sudah “sangat layak” digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui proses penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa pada materi pecahan di kelas IV SD Inpres Bertingkat dan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa pada materi pecahan di kelas IV SD Inpres Bertingkat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Desain penelitian diawali dengan perencanaan, dilanjutkan dengan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Bertingkat yang berjumlah 15 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 8 siswa laki-laki dan 7 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pembelajaran bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I, 66 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 40% dengan kategori cukup dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa adalah 78 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80% dengan kategori baik. Dilihat dari data tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dengan penggunaan metode suku kata (syllabic method) pada siswa kelas 1B di SD Inpres Paccinongan Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dengan desain atau tahapan mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa sebanyak 24 yang terdiri dari 8 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan aktivitas siswa dan tes membaca permulaan. Dan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis data kuantitatif yaitu observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan aktifitas siswa dan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan syllabic method dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan. Pada siklus I siswa yang telah tuntas atau mencapai KKM sebanyak 10 siswa atau 41,7% dan yang belum tuntas 14 siswa atau 59,3%. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 22 siswa atau 91,7% dan yang belum tuntas 2 siswa atau 8,3%. Kata kunci: Siswa, metode syllabic, kemampuan membaca permulaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas X DKV B SMK Negeri 2 Gowa setelah menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada siklus I, dan (2) keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas X DKV B SMK Negeri 2 Gowa setelah menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada siklus II. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan masing-masing tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa fase E dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 35 orang. Perlakuan yang diberikan kepada subjek penelitian untuk meningkatkan hasil menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi pada siswa kelas X DKV B SMK Negeri 2 Gowa setelah menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 70,25 dan (2) keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi pada siswa kelas X DKV B SMK Negeri 2 Gowa setelah menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 85,81. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas X DKV B SMK Negeri 2 Gowa melalui penerapan pendekatan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi mengalami peningkatan.
