Abstract

Ketercapaian tujuan pendidikan sangat bergantung pada kecakapan dan kebijakan kepala sekolah sebagai salah satu pemimpin pendidikan. Peranan kepala sekolah dapat menentukan keberhasilan maupun kualitas pendidikan di sebuah sekolah. Fokus dari penelitian yaitu mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu akademik di SMP N 1 Kajen Kabupaten Pekalongan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus. Desain penelitian kualitatif melalui kondensasi data (data condensation), menyajikan data (data display), dan menarik simpulan atau verifikasi (conclusion drawing and verification). Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data dengan tiga langkah: reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan disusun oleh kepala sekolah dengan membentuk Tim dan mesosialisasikan aspek-aspek yang disupervisi. 2) Pelaksanaan berfokus pelaksanaan supervisi akademik di SMP Negeri 1 Kajen bertumpu pada dua komponen yaitu supervisi perencanaan pembelajaran yang disusun oleh guru dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas. 3) Tindak lanjut hasil pelaksanaan supervisi dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah dengan pertemuan individual. Dengan pertemuan individual antara kepala sekolah dengan guru diharapkan kepala sekolah dapat memberikan umpan balik kepada guru yang disupervisi. Penulis menyarankan agar terus membangun komunikasi yang efektif terhadap warga sekolah, membangun kerjasama tim dan melakukan perbaikan secara terus-menerus dan berkelanjutan. Guru diharuskan untuk selalu siap dan mendukug dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) To determine the differences in narrative essay writing skills between classes that use the CIRC model and classes that use direct learning in teaching narrative essay writing skills for fourth grade elementary school students; 2) To find out how much influence using the CIRC model has on the narrative essay writing skills of fourth grade elementary school students. The research method used is experimental research with a Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SD Negeri 03 Selakau Tua. Total sampling technique sampling. The sample used was all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 03 Selakau Tua. The instrument in this research was a test question sheet. Data analysis for the first hypothesis uses a 2 sample t-test and for the second hypothesis uses an effect size. The results of the research show that: 1) the CIRC learning model for students' narrative essay writing skills provides differences in narrative essay writing skills between classes that use direct learning in class IV of SD Negeri 03 Selakau Tua. This is shown by the t test which shows that t count > t table= 11.501>1.679 means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected; 2) the CIRC type cooperative learning model has a big influence on students' narrative essay writing skills as indicated by Es, namely 2.358 with high criteria. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the CIRC learning model has an effect on students' narrative essay writing skills because there is an expected increase in students' narrative essay writing skills.

Abstract

Uncomfortable, safe, and conducive classrooms are one of the causes of less optimal learning and a less supportive environment for school activities. To overcome this can be applied class beliefs. This is in line with the implementation of child-friendly schools. This study was designed to analyze the application of classroom beliefs to child-friendly schools. Research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The data sources used are from observations, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study was the implementation of an already good child-friendly school with the support of various parties, facilities, and policies implemented. For confidence, the classroom is a child-friendly school program at Sonosewu Elementary School which is still in its infancy so there are still some factors that are present such as poor student environment, parental participation, and family environment conditions. For its supporting factors are school facilities, student participation, school citizens, and commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's strategy in strengthening student interest in learning, and describe the factors that inhibit and support teachers in strengthening the learning interest of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Klumpit in science learning. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Klumpit, Tlogowungu District, Pati Regency, by taking the subject of teachers and fourth grade students. In this study used qualitative research methods and types of case study approaches as well as data collection techniques that include the stages of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the strategies used by teachers in strengthening interest in learning in science learning were establishing agreements, designing the learning expected by students, creating positive competencies, creating threat-free classes, giving appreciation to students, and encouraging students to reflect on learning. While the supporting factors that influence the teacher's strategy are the agreement that all students agree on, the existence of science learning videos, the existence of learning designs that are packaged by playing and singing, and the appreciation of students. The factors that influence the implementation of the teacher's strategy include the driving factor with an agreement agreed upon by all students, the existence of science learning videos, the existence of learning designs that are packaged by playing and singing, as well as appreciation of students. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of preparation in delivering the material and the lack of giving students a sense of self. Keywords: Teacher strategy, Ask to learn, Science Learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata dan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui penerapan Inquiry learning dengan media Virtual laboratory pada pembelajaran IPAS Bab 5 Topik B. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan di kelas V SD 2 Rejosari. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD 2 Rejosari yang berjumlah 14 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purpossive sampling. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pre-experimental dengan the one grup pretest posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample t-Test dan N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-Test didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,00 di mana (0,00<0,05) sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya rata-rata keterampilan proses sains siswa yang memperoleh inquiry learning berbasis TPACK dengan media virtual laboratory lebih baik daripada rata-rata keterampilan proses sains siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang mengikuti inquiry learning berbasis TPACK dengan media virtual laboratory berpengaruh sebesar 0,7629 dengan kategori tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, inquiry learning berbasis TPACK dengan media virtual laboratory terbukti berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Abstract

The ability to read is a basic skill that every lower school student must have. Through reading, students can learn to understand the material of various subjects. This study aims to determine how the description of beginning reading of grade 1 students of SDI Al Azhar 25 semester I of the 2023/2024 academic year, with a sample of class IA students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were tests, observation, and documentation. The research instruments used were observation sheets for beginning reading, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, students' ability to read vowels was 100%. Students' ability to read consonant letters is mostly capable, which is 97%. Students' ability to read syllables (consonant + vowel) is mostly capable, namely 97%. Students' ability to read syllables (consonant+vowel+consonant) is mostly in the able category, namely 94.81%. Students' fluency in reading words (mixed vowels and consonants) is mostly in the able category, namely 92.59%. There are still some students who are still at the level of reading syllables, and have difficulty reading combined vowels and consonants. Therefore, further research is still needed on efforts so that the ability to read beginning in grade 1 students can be completed at the end of semester I.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the analysis of student needs on IT-based learning media. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The selected research projects were 13 respondents and 44 teachers in Semarang district. The instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire for media use needs. The results of this study show that grade III students of SDN Pasekan 01 need IT-based learning media. With the hope that students will more easily understand the material and be more interested in learning so that student learning outcomes can increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai religius Ilahiyah dalam novel Sujud Nisa di kaki Tahajjud-Subuh karya Kartini Nainggolan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, data yang diperoleh dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode baca catat dan metode kepustakaan, serta menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis data yang telah diperoleh. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis dapat disimpulkan bahwa novel Sujud Nisa di Kaki Tahajjud-Subuh karya Kartini Nainggolan merupakan novel yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai religius. Nilai-nilai religius yang terkandung dalam novel Sujud Nisa di Kaki Tahajjud-Subuh karya Kartini Nainggolan diantaranya yaitu nilai Ilahiyah diantaranya nilai Iman, Islam, Ihsan, Taqwa, Ikhlas, Tawakal, syukur, sabar.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the development of teacher professionalism at the elementary school level through the implementation of Teacher Working Groups (KKG). Teacher professionalism has a significant impact on the quality of education and student development. KKG is considered an effective strategy in improving the competence and quality of teacher work. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of documents related to the KKG. The research results show that KKG has an important role in developing teacher professionalism in elementary schools. In the context of KKG, teachers can share their experiences, knowledge and best practices. Regular discussions in KKG help teachers to identify and resolve problems they may face in teaching. In addition, the KKG also provides opportunities to access additional educational resources and necessary training. Implementation of the KKG helps improve the quality of learning in the classroom, while strengthening the teacher community in elementary schools. Teachers feel more motivated and connected to their colleagues, which in turn improves their professional well-being. Thus, this research provides a better understanding of the role of KKG in improving teacher professionalism at the elementary school level.

Abstract

IPAS outcomes in Class IV SDN 021 Sungai Kunjang are still relatively low. This is caused by learning activities that are not varied, resulting in a lack of student interest in learning and teachers' lack of knowledge about the latest learning approaches and models. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) approach in improving IPAS learning outcomes for class IV SDN 021 Sungai Kunjang in terms of changes in energy forms. This research is using experimental method. The research design used was a non-equivalent pre test – post test control group design. The instrument is in the form of essay questions. The data analysis techniques in this research are Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Hypothesis Test, and N-Gain Test. Based on research results, learning IPAS using the STEAM approach obtained an average score of 85,86, while learning IPAS without using the STEAM approach obtained an average score of 70,93. The results of this research indicate that the STEAM approach is effective in terms of student learning outcomes as evidenced by the results of the independent sample t test, which obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0,001 ˂ 0,05 then H1 is accepted. The level of effectiveness of this research is also proven by the N-Gain test of 0,67 with the criteria being quite effective. So it can be concluded that the STEAM approach is effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 021 Sungai Kunjang.
