Abstract

The purpose of writing this research is to describe the existence of the Marrimpa Salo Cultural Tradition from an Anthropological Perspective and its Implementation in Elementary Schools in Sinjai Regency. Because local culture is one of the characteristics of an area, especially in Sinjai Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Qualitative research is research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken information from people observed using service management science. Data collection carried out was observation, interviews and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Lastly, testing and validity of the data through observation, perseverance, triangulation, and reference materials. As a result, the diversity of a community certainly has its own uniqueness and character for that community. So after that the Community Group must maintain its traditions. Especially now, under the influence of globalization which is growing like a cloud, I urge the Indonesian people to continue to preserve their culture and traditions so that their country will be respected by other countries.

Abstract

terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif Penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design, Pre-test dan post-test satu kelompok digunakan sebagai desain penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 438 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII yang berjumlah 42 orang, terpilih melalui Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan kekreatifan dan pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif Powtoon terhadap pembelajaran IPA menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Powtoon terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Makassar. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan nilai t-hitung > t-tabel 4.759 > 1.682 dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan terjadi penerimaan H1. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran powtoon terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Makassar. terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Makassar. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the mathematics learning achievement of 5th-grade students at Budi Setia Private Elementary School. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey design. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression methods. The results indicate that learning motivation, parental support, and teaching methods significantly influence mathematics learning achievement. Other factors, such as the adequacy of learning facilities and attendance, also contribute meaningfully. Based on these findings, it is recommended that schools enhance teaching approaches and encourage parental involvement to improve students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the honest character of sixth-grade students of SD Negeri No. 100102 Panobasan through concrete experience-based learning. This research is motivated by students' low level of honesty in daily activities, both inside and outside the classroom. The research method uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of two cycles of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycle involves learning activities designed to provide concrete experiences, such as simulations, role plays, and group discussions related to real-life situations that require honesty. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the honest character of students after the implementation of concrete experience-based learning. This is shown through observations of student behavior, reflection results, and positive responses from teachers and students. The percentage of student honesty increased from 60% in the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle. In conclusion, concrete experience-based learning effectively instills honesty values in students. This study recommends using a similar approach in learning other character values

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the STEAM approach on higher order thingking skills in elementary schools. This research is a quasy experiment design. The design form of this study is Nonequivalent Control class Design. The results showed that the STEAM approach applied in the experimental class was very effective against higher order thingking skills. The hypothesis test results with a sig value of 0.001 lower than the significance level of 0.05 then a decision can be made that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted where there is a significant difference between the higher order thingking skill control class and the experimental class

Abstract

Community service is one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which not only aims to improve the quality of education and research, but also makes a real contribution to the welfare of the community. This research aims to examine the role of community service in the context of community empowerment through various programs implemented by universities. This service includes providing training, guidance, and solutions to social, economic, and educational problems in the community. The results of the study show that community service integrated with academic activities can have a sustainable positive impact on the community and enrich the student experience.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher leadership strategy in fostering student discipline through class management. The class that will be used for research is class IV. This study uses a qualitative method. The subjects of the study were class teachers and class IV students. Data collected through observation and interviews as well as documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that effective teacher leadership strategies in fostering student discipline are: (1) Implementing clear rules, (2) Positive Approaches in Encouraging Discipline, (3) Effective Communication between Teachers and Students, (4) Giving Fair Consequences, (5) Time Management and Structured Learning. The conclusion of this study is that student discipline can be fostered with teacher leadership strategies by implementing class management optimally

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect between instructional model Inquiry Learning and Direct Instruction to critical thinking skills of Junior High School children in accordance with gender differences between men and women. The method used in this research is to use the experimental method using a quantitative approach with the type of case study. In this study, the measurement tool is a questionnaire that the author quotes from the questionnaire Bambang Abduljabar. The results of this study are: Inquiry learning model in learning pemas can improve students' critical thinking skills without feared will be influenced by sex differences in students. The more student-centered learning of lead will contribute positively to the students' cognitive development, even giving the student a pleasurable learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on the learning outcomes of the sub theme of my nation's cultural diversity. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted in Ciomas 06 State Elementary School, Bogor Regency, Class IVA, and IVB as the experimental class and control class. The data from this study were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2016. Data collection to obtain student learning outcomes tests was obtained using pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique in this study used the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis from hypothesis testing using t-test obtained tcount = 18.71368, while ttable at a significant level /2 = 0.025 of 2.00324, then obtained tcount> ttable that is 18.71368> 2.00324 so Ha is accepted or H0 is rejected. Thus, there is an effect of the problem based learning model on the learning outcomes of the sub-theme of cultural diversity of my people in the fourth grade students of SDN Ciomas 06.

Abstract

Crackers are popular dry snacks made from starch-based ingredients. However, some colored crackers are suspected to contain illegal dyes like rhodamine B, which is commonly used in the textile industry. Consumption of rhodamine B can cause health issues, including poisoning and cancer. This study aims to detect rhodamine B in red crackers sold at Mbonggawani, Potulando, and Wolowona markets. The method used is Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) with a solvent mixture of ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and ammonia (20:55:25). Out of the three samples tested, one sample tested positive for rhodamine B, indicated by a pink spot that fluoresces yellow under UV light at 254 nm. The Rf value of the sample was 0.7, consistent with the standard rhodamine B range (0.2–0.8).
