Abstract

This study aims to determine and formulate an effective strategy in building a brand image at the Syariah Savings and Loans Cooperative Hidup BerkhaBermakana in Padang Panjang City. In the midst of increasing competition between Islamic financial institutions, brand image and brand image are important elements in attracting and retaining members. Forming a brand image for a company is crucial for a positive perception of the brand. This study uses a qualitative method, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation conducted directly to the Manager and members of KPSPPS. The analysis was carried out using SWOT, IFE and EFE matrix analysis, as well as SWOT matrix and score weight table. The results of this study found that the strategy implemented by the Syariah Savings and Loans Cooperative Hidup Berkah Bermakana in Padang Panjang City in building a brand image using the S-O (Strength Opportunity) strategy, namely developing a digital platform to access product and service information anytime and anywhere. Expanding and holding socialization or promotional activities to add new potential members in accordance with the good reputation of the cooperative. Offering and improving products and service quality with attractive features. Implementing training/education programs such as sharia financial literacy or understanding of cooperative products and services.

Abstract

The position of learning media is a crucial element in learning. Teachers at Patukangan 1 Public Elementary School have utilized media in learning that is relevant to the content they teach. The research objective to be achieved is to determine the use of learning media at Patukangan 1 Public Elementary School along with the obstacles and efforts encountered in learning. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used interview methods, observation, questionnaires, and documentation, while for data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification steps. The results obtained from the study showed that classroom teachers utilize media in the learning process such as concrete objects, models, multimedia media, and print media. Students are involved in learning with the presence of media, where students find it easier to understand the subject matter and feel interested in participating in learning. However, there are obstacles in the implementation of teaching activities, namely limited resources, limited time, and technical constraints. Even so, teachers can provide alternative solutions to overcome these obstacles, including teachers creating their own media, teachers making more structured learning devices, and teachers finding replacement projectors and laptops. Teachers utilize various media in learning that increase students' understanding and interest, even though they face obstacles that can be overcome with creative solutions.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of Korean drama genre preferences on university students’ level of empathy. The sample comprised 176 students (aged 18–28 years, M = 21.74; SD = 1.96), whose empathy was assessed via a 20-item Likert scale. Genre preferences (Romance Comedy, Drama, Psychological, Slice of Life, Sageuk, Thriller/Mystery) were collected through an online questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted after confirming residual normality (Shapiro–Wilk and Kolmogorov–Smirnov p > .05; Durbin–Watson = 1.542). Results revealed a significant simultaneous model, F(7, 168) = 6.746; p < .001; R² = 0.219, indicating that 21.9% of empathy variance is explained by the combined genres. However, no single genre showed a significant partial effect (p > .05). These findings suggest that the collective influence of Korean drama genres is more substantial than individual genre effects. Future research should employ longitudinal and mixed-method designs to explore genre interactions and dispositional empathy factors.

Abstract

This article is focused on examining the systems approach and Pai's learning design models. Today teachers are required to be able to make appropriate learning plans according to the needs of students. The technique used is the result of documentation of existing reference sources and other written information. Analysis of research data using descriptive analysis, content analysis, and comparative analysis. The results of this discussion explain that the PAI learning system approach is a component that integrates with each other, functions cooperatively, and influences each other. In the PAI learning system approach, there are several planning components, namely: a. Establish PAI learning objectives, b. Determine the strategy for organizing the contents of Islamic Education lessons, c. Planning the roles of teachers and students in learning, d. Determine the PAI learning strategy, e. Determine the technique of evaluating the learning outcomes of Islamic Education. Meanwhile, the PAI learning model designs are: a. Briggs learning design model, b. Gerlach and Ely learning design model, c. Kemp learning design model and examples in the form of management lesson plans are attached to the research results.

Abstract

Kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital sering sekali terjadi pada tulisan siswa, penulisan huruf kapital dalam tulisan perlu dipahami oleh setiap pemakai bahasa. Pada cerpen hasil karya siswa kelas V SDN Penjaringan 10 Pagi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena masih ditemukan adanya siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam penggunaan huruf kapital yang tepat sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan EYD V. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis isi. Subyek pada penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas V sebanyak 31 siswa yang menulis cerpen hasil karyanya sendiri. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini akan dianalisis sesuai dengan masing-masing kode kesalahan dan kemudian dideskripsikan. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, bahwasannya ditemukan kesalahan penulisan yang dilakukan siswa yang meliputi: 1) Kesalahan penulisan huruf kapital pada awa kata di kalimat cerpen, dengan persentase 53,8% kriteria Kurang, 2) Kesalahan penulisan huruf pertama unsur nama orang, julukan atau sapaan dengan persentase 18,4% kriteria Baik, 3) Kesalahan penulisan khas geografi dengan persentase 16,1% kriteria Baik, 4) Kesalahan penulisan pada judul cerpen dengan persentase 11,5% kriteria Baik, serta 5) Kesalahan penulisan nama Tuhan, hari, bulan, dan tahun dengan persentase 0% kriteria Sangat Baik. Kesalahan penulisan tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya motivasi belajar dan rasa ingin tahu siswa dalam pembelajaran huruf kapital yang baik dan benar sesuai ejaan bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the extent to which the use of Kipin School, a digital learning platform, contributes to improving the academic performance of fourth-grade students in Science and Social Studies subjects at SDN Cengklik, Surakarta. Kipin School offers a variety of interactive features designed to enhance students' understanding and make the learning process more engaging. The study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest and posttest design. All fourth-grade students participated in the research, with one group receiving instruction through Kipin School, while another group served as a comparison. Data were collected through tests administered before and after the learning sessions and analyzed using a t-test to determine differences in learning outcomes. The results showed a significant improvement in the academic performance of students who used Kipin School. Therefore, it can be concluded that Kipin School has a positive impact on students' comprehension in Science and Social Studies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Games Based Learning (GBL) learning model assisted by the Wordwall application on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (NaSS) class IV SDN 26 Rimbo Kaluang, found problems such as low student learning outcomes that have not reached KKTP 75, the learning model is still not varied which makes the learning atmosphere seem boring, less attractive to students so that learning has not been achieved optimally. Learning is still centered on educators, it can be seen that educators dominate learning activities, so that students are less involved in finding contextual problems that are being studied. This type of research is quantitative research using the Quasy Experiment approach. The population in the study were fourth grade students of SDN 26 Rimbo Kaluang. The sampling technique used Total Sampling technique, where the samples in this study were class IV students. A (Experiment Class) and class IV.B (Control Class), each class consisting of 22 students. Data collection techniques using tests in the form of objective questions as many as 20 items that have been tested for validity. After obtaining data on learning outcomes, normality test and homogeneity test were carried out, then continued with the t-test. The results of this study indicate the average value of students who use the Games Based Learning learning model assisted by a t-test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya perilaku bullying di tingkat sekolah dasar dan kurang efektifnya metode nasihat verbal yang bersifat abstrak bagi siswa. Maka dari itu, penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media buku cerita bergambar sebagai solusi edukasi bullying bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Media ini dirancang secara inovatif dengan mengintegrasikan elemen kearifan lokal Jepara dalam narasi cerita untuk meningkatkan relevansi kontekstual dan daya tarik bagi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan alur ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang melibatkan 15 siswa kelas IV SDN 7 Kecapi sebagai subjek uji coba. Hasil penelitian adalah produk buku cerita bergambar berjudul “Kita Semua Teman” yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Produk memperoleh skor kelayakan 90,6% dari ahli materi dan 94,6% dari ahli media, keduanya dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Pada tahap implementasi, media ini mendapatkan respons “Sangat Baik” dari siswa dengan persentase rata-rata 86,28% dan dari guru dengan skor 92%. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa buku cerita bergambar ini sangat layak, menarik dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai anti-bullying pada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

English language instruction frequently encounters challenges related to low student engagement and unsatisfactory academic performance, especially when conventional teaching approaches lack interactivity. A potential solution to these issues involves integrating educational tools such as the Plickers application, which supports real-time interaction and immediate feedback. This study explores the effect of Plickers on student achievement and engagement in English learning among sixth-grade students at MI Darul Ulum. Utilizing a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach in one cycle, the research included a pretest, the application of Plickers, a posttest, and student interviews. The findings demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ average scores, rising from 48.46 before the intervention to 85.38 afterward. Interview responses also revealed increased student interest and active participation during lessons involving Plickers, although some technical challenges were noted. The results suggest that Plickers is a valuable tool for enhancing both learning outcomes and student participation in English education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT There are students who have not implemented the desire to shop for goods according to their needs, and there are students who have not been able to manage their finances wisely. This study aims to determine the extent to which financial literacy influences the consumptive behavior of students in the Economics Education Study Program at the University of Lampung, class of 2022. This research is a quantitative study using a descriptive-verificative method with an ex post facto and survey approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The total population consisted of 104 students, with a sample of 83 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used was probability sampling with simple random sampling. Data analysis included instrument requirement tests consisting of validity and reliability tests, data analysis tests (normality and homogeneity), classical assumption tests (linearity, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity), as well as simple linear regression analysis.The results of the simple linear regression analysis revealed that financial literacy has a significant positive influence on consumptive behavior (t = 2.428; sig = .003), with a coefficient β = 0.359, meaning that every 35.9% increase in financial literacy will reduce consumptive behavior by 35.9%. The coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.304, indicating that the financial literacy variable has a partial influence on consumptive behavior by 30.4%, while the remaining 69.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. This research recommends the importance of strengthening financial literacy as a means to control students’ consumptive behavior.
