Abstract

This research aimed to enhance early childhood education in understanding basicaddition operations. The study utilized a Classroom Action Research (CAR)approach, conducted over two cycles with a total of six sessions, incorporating theProblem-Based Learning (PBL) and Direct Instruction (DI) models. A total of 12children participated in the study. Data were collected through observation,interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive methods. Thefindings revealed notable progress: in the first cycle, student engagement reached77%, categorized as moderately active, and increased to 86% in the second cycle,classified as highly active. These results indicate that the implementation of theProblem-Based Learning and Direct Instruction models, supported by the use ofMathematical Intelligence Stick media, successfully met the targeted learningoutcomes. By the end of the intervention, 86% of children in Group B3 at TK NegeriPembina Banjarmasin Timur had reached the "Very Well Developed" (VWD) level

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Wordwall application on thereading skills of fourth-grade students at SD Islam Datuk Ribandang. The problem inthis study stems from the low interest and ability of students in understandingreading. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design typeone group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were all 46 fourth-gradestudents. Data collection techniques used tests (pretest and posttest), observation,and documentation. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the averagepretest score of students was 54.13, while the posttest score increased to 76.96. Theresults of the hypothesis test with the t-test showed that the significance value < 0.05,which means that there is a significant effect of using the Wordwall application onimproving students’ reading skills. Thus, the use of the Wordwall application as aninteractive learning media has proven effective in improving the reading skills offourth-grade students at SD Islam Datuk Ribandang.

Prasetyo Utomo. 2020. “Pengaruh Iklim Sekolah dan Supervisi Kepala Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Bancak Kabupaten Semarang”. Tesis. Pembimbing: (1) Dr. Ngasbun Egar, M.Pd (2) Dr. Ngurah ayu Nyoman Murniati, M.Pd. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap kinerja guru; (2) mengetahui pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru; dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh iklim sekolah dan supervisi kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Bancak Kabupaten Semarang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Bancak Kabupaten Semarang yang berjumlah 139 orang, sampel sebanyak 103 guru yang ditetapkan dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisis diskriptif, uji prasyarat, analisis regresi tunggal dan analisis regresi ganda yang dihitung menggunakan program SPSS for Windows versi 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan iklim sekolah terhadap kinerja guru yang dinyatakan dalam persamaan Ŷ = 45,019 + 0,517X1, kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,619 dengan pengaruh sebesar 0,383 atau 38,3%; (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru yang dinyatakan dalam persamaan Ŷ = 55,856 + 0,466X2, kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,610 dengan pengaruh sebesar 0,372 atau 37,2%; serta (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan iklim sekolah dan supervisi kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru yang dinyatakan dalam persamaan Ŷ = 40,805 + 0,311X1 + 0,258X2, kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,661 dan kontribusi sebesar 0,437 atau 43,7%. Berdasarkan temuan hasil temuan tersebut disarankan: (1) guru menggunakan media dan sumber belajar yang inovatif, (2) pemberian kompensasi dan reward, promosi dan karier terhadap guru;(3) pelaksanaan supervisi yang berkesinambungan. Abstract

Supervision of Islamic education plays a strategic role in improving the quality oflearning amidst the changing paradigm of national education, particularly throughthe Independent Curriculum. This study aims to analyze the implementation ofIslamic education supervision in Islamic educational institutions in Reban District,Batang Regency, and to identify its forms, challenges, and relevance to theIndependent Curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with a casestudy method in several madrasahs in Indonesia. Data collection techniquesinclude observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showthat supervision implementation encompasses academic, administrative, andspiritual dimensions. The main challenges stem from limited supervisorcompetency, resistance to organizational culture, and regulatory inconsistencies.However, supervision also has significant potential to become a lever for learningtransformation if conducted collaboratively and contextually. This studyrecommends strengthening supervisor capacity, integrating Islamic values intotraining, and updating supervision policies based on the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Sri Wahyuni. 2025. Development of HOTS-Oriented Biology Student WorksheetBased on PBL on Virus Material for Class X MAN Kepulauan Selayar. Thesis.Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education,Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervisors: Anisa (Supervisor I) andIrmawanty (Supervisor II). This study aims to create a HOTS-focused and PBL-based Biology Student Worksheet for high school students, especially on the topicof viruses. The background of this study shows a lack of variation in learningmethods, the application of biology lessons that are not optimal in everyday life,and low active participation in the learning process at MAN Kepulauan Selayar.The methodology applied in this study is the Research and Development (R&D)approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five main stages: Analysis,Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product is aprinted LKPD designed with the Canva platform and can be accessed via a link orQR code. The validity of this LKPD has been evaluated by experts in the field ofmaterials and media, who gave validity scores of 3.9 and 4 respectively, falling intothe category of &quot;very valid&quot;. The practicality test was conducted by a teacher and31 grade X students, with the results showing a practicality level of 100% from theteacher (very practical category) and 85% from the students (very practicalcategory). These findings indicate that the LKPD can be a good alternative as abiology learning tool, because it not only supports students understanding ofscientific concepts, but can also encourage the development of other teachingmaterials, such as LKPD based on Problem-Based Learning which focuses onhigh-level thinking skills (HOTS), especially in the context of biological materialssuch as viruses.

Abstract

This article is written based on research conducted with the background of lowchildren&#39;s numeracy skills and the lack of variation in learning media that makeschildren quickly bored and less motivated. To overcome this, an interactive gamewebsite is used as an alternative learning media that is fun and interesting withoutdownloading the application first. The purpose of this study was to determine theeffect of using an interactive game website on childrens numeracy skills at TelkomSchools Padang Kindergarten. This study uses a quantitative approach with aquasi-experimental method. Samples were taken by purposive sampling, namelyclass B6 as the experimental group and B7 as the control group, each consistingof 18 children. Data were collected through oral tests and action tests, thenanalyzed using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests with the help ofSPSS 25.0. The results showed that the average numeracy score of theexperimental class increased from 7.33 (pre-test) to 18.28 (post-test), while thecontrol class increased from 6.44 to 12.17. A significance value of 0.00 < 0.05indicates a significant effect. Thus, the use of interactive game websites hasproven effective in improving childrens numeracy skills at Telkom Schools PadangKindergarten.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' lack of interest in learning, their passive responses when asked questions by the teacher, and their tendency to be disengaged and self-focused during class. Additionally, learning remains teacher-centered. These issues stem from the limited use of instructional media, particularly animated video media, in the learning process. This study aims to produce animated video learning media for ipas (science, social, and environmental education) in grade v that is valid, practical, and effective. this is a developmen research using the addie model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis stage includes curriculum analysis, needs analysis, and analysis of student characteristics. The design stage involves designing the learning tools and product, followed by product development, validation, and development trials. The development stage includes validity and practicality testing conducted at sdn 03 koto baru. the results of the validation test of the ipas animated learning video by three experts showed an average score of 80.95%, categorized as highly valid. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that the animated learning video for grade v ipas is highly suitable for use at sdn 03 koto baru. This research produced an animated learning video for grade v ipas that is highly valid, highly practical, and highly effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Sampuraga video in improving the ability to understand the story content of third-grade students of SDN 113 Pekanbaru. The background of this study is based on the results of initial observations which show that most students have difficulty in understanding the elements of the story, such as plot, characters, settings, and moral messages. The method used in this study is a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study amounted to 24 students. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test to measure the understanding of the story content. The results showed that the average score of students' pretest was 52.00 and the average score of students' posttest was 80.00. Based on the results of the t-test, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, which means there is a significant difference between the results of the pretest and posttest. The implications of this study indicate that local video-based learning media can be an innovative solution to improve reading literacy and strengthen cultural values in learning Indonesian in elementary schools. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Sampuraga video has a positive effect on improving the ability to understand the story content in grade III students of SDN 113 Pekanbaru..

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the PQRST learning method (Preview,Question, Read, Summary, and Test) has an effect on the reading comprehensionskills of fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SDN 67 Rappokalling, Makassar City.The research used a One Group Pretest-Posttest design with a sample of 30students. Data were collected through tests and documentation, then analyzedusing normality tests and hypothesis testing. The results showed that afterimplementing the PQRST method, the students&#39; average score increased from 55in the pretest to 78.6 in the posttest. The t-test showed a significance value of lessthan 0.05, which means there was a significant effect of the method on students&#39;reading comprehension skills. The PQRST method helps students read moreactively and systematically, making it easier for them to understand the text. Inconclusion, the PQRST method can improve the reading comprehension skills offifth-grade students at UPT SPF SDN 67 Rappokalling, Makassar City.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of money calculation in fourth-grade students at UPTD SD Inpres Oetete 2 Kupang City through the use of toy money media. The study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students on money calculation material due to conventional learning methods that lack active student participation. The study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation sheets and tests, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the observation study show a significant increase: the average student score increased from 46.9 (pre-cycle) to 66.9 (Cycle I) and 89.2 (Cycle II). The percentage of learning completeness also increased from 19.2% (pre-cycle) to 53.8% (Cycle I) and 92.3% (Cycle II). These findings indicate that the toy money media is effective in increasing student engagement and learning outcomes through interactive and enjoyable learning. This approach not only improves mathematical understanding but also develops critical thinking and collaboration skills. The study concludes that toy money media can be an effective strategy to overcome the challenges of mathematics learning at the elementary school level.
