Abstract

This study aims to analyze the aerodynamic performance of an H-type Darrieus wind turbine by varying the number of blades and wind speeds using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method. The turbine geometry was modeled using SolidWorks 2022 and numerically simulated with ANSYS Fluent 2025. The models consist of three-blade and four-blade configurations employing the NACA 0012 airfoil profile, tested under three different freestream wind velocities: 7 m/s, 9 m/s, and 11 m/s. The simulations were conducted within static and rotating domains to examine the fluid flow characteristics around the rotor, including velocity distribution, pressure field, torque, and power efficiency. The results show that increasing wind speed leads to more complex and turbulent flow behavior, characterized by the emergence of vortex shedding behind the blades. The torque coefficient (Ct) and power coefficient (Cp) increased with higher wind speeds in the three-blade configuration, indicating greater energy conversion efficiency compared to the four-blade configuration. Conversely, the four-blade turbine exhibited reduced efficiency at higher wind speeds due to increased drag forces and inter-blade interactions, which caused energy losses. Overall, the findings demonstrate that the three-blade H-type Darrieus turbine provides superior aerodynamic efficiency and rotational stability at medium to high wind speeds, whereas the four-blade configuration performs better at lower wind speeds by generating higher starting torque. These results are expected to serve as a reference for the development of efficient vertical-axis wind turbine designs suitable for wind conditions in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of blade number variation on the performance of a crossflow turbine used in the Micro-Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) system at PT XYZ. The research was conducted using a numerical simulation approach based on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with Solidworks 2022 for geometry modeling and ANSYS Fluent 2025 R1 for fluid flow simulation. The variations of blade numbers investigated were 18, 24, 30, and 32 blades, with constant operating parameters including a flow rate of 0.03678 m³/s, a head of 0.3 m, and a rotational speed of 1500 rpm. The simulation results indicate that the number of blades significantly affects the torque, output power, and efficiency of the crossflow turbine. The configuration with 18 blades produced the best performance, achieving a torque of 21.39 Nm, an effective power of 3359.64 W, and an efficiency of 31.09%, while configurations with 24 and 32 blades showed a significant decrease in efficiency to around 6%. The analysis of velocity contours, pressure contours, and streamlines revealed that the 18-blade configuration provides a more stable and focused flow with uniform pressure distribution along the blade’s leading edge, resulting in greater tangential force on the runner shaft. In contrast, increasing the number of blades causes higher turbulence and energy losses. Therefore, it can be concluded that the 18-blade configuration is the most optimal design for achieving efficient crossflow turbine performance under the specified operating conditions.

Abstract

In the increasingly advanced digital era, information and communication technology has significantly transformed the way Muslims access and study the Quran. This study aims to analyze the positive impact of technology on online Quran study by highlighting aspects of accessibility, interactivity, religious digital literacy, and the formation of a global Muslim community. The approach used was qualitative library research, through a literature review of scientific journals, official agency reports, and online sources related to digital Quran learning.The research gap underlying this study is that most previous studies have focused solely on the technical and pedagogical aspects of technology-based learning without examining its impact on spiritual understanding, religious digital literacy, and scholarly authority in the context of online Quran learning. Furthermore, there are limited studies that integrate multimedia learning theory with Islamic spiritual values ​​and explore the formation of a global Muslim community in the digital space.The results show that digital technology expands access to the Quran through smartphones, applications, and online platforms that support interactive and multimedia learning. These innovations enrich understanding of the sacred text and strengthen connectivity among Muslims worldwide. However, challenges arise in terms of source validity, interpretive authority, and user digital literacy. This research emphasizes the importance of using technology wisely and spiritually to develop a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, moral, and have a global perspective.

Abstract

The development of peer interaction abilities in elementary students can be significantly shaped through innovative educational strategies, one of which, explored in this study, is the Role-Playing method. This investigation focused on determining the degree to which this approach enhances the interpersonal skills of fourth-grade learners at SD Negeri 31 Pangkalpinang. The research employed a mixed-method design encompassing the entire fourth-grade cohort of 35 students, sampled using a saturated sampling procedure. Students in the experimental condition received lessons via Role-Playing. Questionnaire responses and observational data were collected and analyzed with the Shapiro–Wilk and Paired Sample T-tests. The outcomes demonstrated a meaningful elevation in interpersonal communication, as indicated by an increase in post-test scores to 75.71 from a pre-test score of 54.97. The statistical significance of the improvement was confirmed by a t-value of 10.039, above the critical t of 2.030, at p < 0.05. Observations further showed an average activity level of 72.63, classified as actively engaged. Overall, the study confirms that the Role-Playing approach exerts a significant beneficial effect on fourth graders’ interpersonal interactions at SD Negeri 31 Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research focuses on an in-depth analysis of the influence of the use of gadgets on early childhood cognitive development in PAUD Bani Karim, considering that children in the Preoperational Stage (age 4-6 years) have the characteristics of imitating, observing, and being able to symbolize. The impact of dualistic gadgets can be positive or negative, which is highly determined by the way it is used and influenced by the diversity of individual factors of the child, such as interests, personality, social conditions, and intelligence levels. Using the case study method, this study aims to measure the significance of these impacts and explore the crucial role of educators and parents in guiding children. Data were collected through observation and direct interviews with principals, teachers, parents, and research subjects (group B1). The findings of the study show that the impact of gadgets has a great effect on cognitive development, depending on how the tool is operated. Therefore, synergy and collective support from the school and household environment are absolutely necessary to ensure that the use of gadgets can be an optimal means for improving children's cognitive development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the importance of harmonizing the rights and obligations of the state and citizens in facing the challenges of globalization. The increasingly rapid flow of information, communication, and culture has influenced the mindset of Indonesian society in understanding citizenship issues, particularly those related to rights and obligations. This study uses a literature review of various theories and regulations related to the rights and obligations of citizens. Citizens' rights are analyzed to include civil, political, economic, and socio-cultural rights, while obligations are focused on legal compliance, tax payment, and role in national defense. The results of the study show that the balance between rights and obligations is fundamental in realizing a democratic and fair constitutional system. However, imbalances were found in daily practices that could lead to violations of rights and rejection of obligations. Therefore, awareness, commitment, and cooperation between the state and citizens are needed to create a harmonious, peaceful, and just society in the era of globalization. Efforts to overcome these problems can be realized through civic education that is more adaptive to the times, utilizing interactive, contextual, and issue-based learning. In addition, strengthening legal literacy is a strategic step to increase public awareness of applicable norms and regulations, so that they not only know their rights and obligations, but are also able to exercise them responsibly. The formation of a democratic culture seeks to ensure that rights and obligations are understood as two complementary and inseparable aspects of national and state life in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This article discusses efforts to improve letter recognition skills using the Assemblr Edu medium for slow learner students. Slow learners often face obstacles in recognizing letters due to limitations in memory, thinking speed, and difficulties in processing learning materials. These conditions affect students’ reading and writing abilities. Based on assessments conducted at SDN 10 Sungai Sapih, it was found that the letter recognition ability of slow learner students was still low, particularly in distinguishing and naming alphabet letters. Therefore, this study aims to improve letter recognition skills among slow learner students through the use of Assemblr Edu, an interactive learning medium based on augmented reality technology that is engaging and easy to use. This research employed a quantitative approach using the Single Subject Research (SSR) experimental method with an A–B design. The research subject was a fourth-grade slow learner student at SDN 10 Sungai Sapih. Phase A (baseline) was used to measure the student’s initial ability to recognize letters before the intervention, while Phase B (intervention) involved learning activities using Assemblr Edu. Data were collected through oral and performance tests and analyzed using visual graphic analysis techniques to observe changes in ability from Phase A to Phase B. The results showed an improvement in students’ ability to recognize letters after the intervention using Assemblr Edu. Students became more capable of identifying the shape and sound of letters, showed better focus, and demonstrated greater enthusiasm in learning. Thus, it can be concluded that Assemblr Edu is effective in improving letter recognition skills among slow learner students, as it provides concrete, engaging, and interactive learning experiences suited to their learning characteristics.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology in the digital era has significantly transformed how students interact, communicate, and access information. On one hand, the digital era provides vast opportunities for students to innovate and contribute to national development; on the other hand, it presents challenges such as misinformation, declining privacy, and weakened social and national values. As digital natives, students are required to use technology ethically, critically, and responsibly. In this context, Pancasila values remain highly relevant as moral and ethical guidelines in navigating globalization and digital culture. This article aims to explain the relevance of Pancasila values in students’ lives in the digital era, emphasizing its role in fostering ethical and nation-oriented digital literacy. This study employs a literature review method, analyzing academic sources such as journals, books, and conference proceedings published between 2015 and 2025. The findings indicate that the internalization of Pancasila values through higher education and digital literacy plays a crucial role in shaping students’ integrity, adaptability, and national responsibility amid globalization.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance elementary school students’ literacy and numeracy skills through the utilization of digital technology. The program was implemented at SD Negeri 5 Bhuana Giri under the theme “Smart Kids in the Digital Era” as an effort to foster intelligence, creativity, and 21st-century skills among young learners. The rapid advancement of technology requires students not only to be literate in reading and numeracy but also to possess digital literacy in order to adapt to modern learning environments. The implementation methods included socialization, interactive training, and mentoring sessions on the use of digital learning media and applications focused on literacy and numeracy. Students were introduced to various digital learning tools such as educational games, interactive videos, and engaging numeracy applications to increase their learning motivation. Teachers were also involved to ensure the sustainability of technology integration in classroom activities. The results of the program indicated an increase in students’ enthusiasm for learning, better understanding of basic literacy and numeracy concepts, and improved ability to use digital devices responsibly and effectively. Through this program, students of SD Negeri 5 Bhuana Giri are expected to become intelligent, creative, and adaptive individuals in facing technological advancements. Moreover, this initiative serves as a practical example of how basic education can synergize with technological innovation to build a strong foundation of digital intelligence from an early age.

Abstract

enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) kelas VII SMP, khususnya pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup. Latar belakang penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPA karena pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru serta terbatas pada penggunaan buku teks dan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi kebutuhan penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkanlah media pembelajaran berbasis AR yang mampu menampilkan objek tiga dimensi (3D) secara interaktif melalui perangkat smartphone, sehingga siswa dapat belajar secara lebih menarik, kontekstual, dan realistis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa media pembelajaran AR menggunakan aplikasi Asemblr Studio yang menampilkan objek 3D mengenai klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Hasil pengujian validitas oleh ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa media ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid, sedangkan uji praktikalitas oleh guru dan siswa menunjukkan media ini sangat praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Uji efektivitas juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar serta motivasi siswa setelah menggunakan media ini. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat, pemahaman, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPA di SMP.
