Abstract

Preparation of XCD solution using 2.50 g of XCD powder and 500 mL of distilled water mixed with a magnetic stirrer at a speed of 1000 rpm for XCD solution viscosity value is 18.15 cP and density of XCD solution is 1.875 g/mL. Injecting the XCD solution using a syringe pump in order to get a stable rate when pushing fluid from inside the sandpack, water flooding is done first to see the sealing power in the sandpack with a recovery factor obtained of 90%. With 250 mL of XCD solution injected, it can push out 31 mL of light oil trapped in the sandpack and get a recovery factor of 98% from the sandpack. Sweep efficiency of water and XCD flooding obtained is 0.89 where the mobility ratio value (M < 1) is very good sweep efficiency that works and if the mobility ratio (M > 1) sandpack conditions have been damaged such as water fingering in the sandpack.

Abstract

The growth of e-commerce expands physical order-fulfilment demand and pushes logistics networks to operate faster, more transparently, and flexibly. This article examines how e-commerce increases shipment volume and strengthens the logistics sector, focusing on Indonesia. It applies an integrative literature review and secondary-data analysis using open scientific articles and official publications from 2021–2026. The findings identify three mechanisms: expansion of the consumer and seller base, platformization that increases order frequency and fragmentation, and rising expectations for speed, tracking, accuracy, and easy returns. Global, Southeast Asian, and Indonesian data consistently associate digital-transaction growth with denser parcel flows. This pressure encourages investment in warehousing, sorting automation, fleets, tracking systems, and data integration. Nevertheless, logistics costs, infrastructure limitations, regional service gaps, and the complexity of last-mile and reverse logistics constrain sectoral strengthening. Data integration, infrastructure improvement, and standardized return services should therefore become priorities.

Abstract

Pore system characteristics and fluid distribution are important factors affecting reservoir quality, particularly fluid storage and flow capability. This study analyzes capillary pressure characteristics and pore size distribution using Mercury Injection Capillary Pressure (MICP), evaluates the relationship between capillary pressure and fluid saturation distribution using the centrifuge method, and assesses reservoir quality through integration of both methods. The study was conducted on three reservoir rock samples from the Semberah Field, Kutai Basin, namely A1, A2, and A3. Results show that sample A2 had the largest dominant pore throat (5.614 µm), the lowest entry pressure (6 psia), and the lowest Swirr (0.445), indicating good pore connectivity. Sample A3 exhibited the smallest dominant pore throat (0.038 µm), the highest entry pressure (131 psia), and the highest Swirr (0.903), reflecting a tighter pore system. The integration of MICP and centrifuge analyses provides a comprehensive evaluation of pore connectivity, fluid distribution, and reservoir quality.

Abstract

Daily oil production data often exhibit fluctuations and changing decline trends, which can reduce forecast accuracy when the entire production period is represented by a single decline pattern. This study evaluates the accuracy of a production-period segmentation approach in Decline Curve Analysis for Well 7289 in the Volve Field. The study used 546 daily oil production records classified as USE. Production rates were normalized using On_Stream_Hrs to obtain equivalent 24-hour rates, then divided into Fitting, Validation, and Late Decline segments and modeled using the Arps Exponential equation. Forecast performance was evaluated using RMSE, MAE, MAPE, and R². The model yielded an RMSE of 126.23 STB/day, MAE of 92.31 STB/day, MAPE of 8.57%, and R² of 0.703. The results indicate that segmentation supports a more structured evaluation of production changes. Future studies should apply statistical segmentation criteria and compare alternative decline models.

Abstract

The cementing operation aims to bond the casing to the well wall, protect the casing from mechanical disturbances and corrosion, and isolate the formation layer. A decrease in cement strength can cause the formation of gaps behind the casing, thus triggering fluid migration between zones. This study aims to analyze the effect of adding Calcium Chloride (CaCl₂) additives on the strength of drilling cement. Testing used API Class G cement with variations of CaCl₂ of 2% and 4% and curing times of 6, 16, and 24 hours. The parameters tested included Compressive Strength (CS) and Shear Bond Strength (SBS). The results showed that the addition of 4% CaCl₂ produced the highest CS value of 2,711.383 psi at 24 hours of curing, while the highest SBS value was obtained with the addition of 2% CaCl₂ at 303.212 psi at 24 hours of curing. Thus, CaCl₂ effectively increases CS, but higher concentrations tend to decrease SBS.

Abstract

Reservoir pressure depletion in mature fields causes an unavoidable decline in natural production rates. This study applies the Dual Segment Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) method based on Sum of Squared Errors (SSE) optimization to Well X to minimize the subjectivity of visual history matching. The minimum error evaluation results indicate that the optimum decline parameters for Segment 1 follow a hyperbolic curve ( ; SSE of 13,933,517) and Segment 2 follows an exponential curve ( ; SSE of 3,626,637). This dual-segment model proves highly valid and accurate in representing production fluctuations and the effects of mechanical well interventions. Long-term forecasting projections up to the economic limit yield an Estimated Ultimate Recovery (EUR) of 30.2881 MMSTB for Segment 1 (cumulative production  of 29.53543 MMSTB; remaining reserves  of 0.75267 MMSTB) and reach 31.34472 MMSTB for Segment 2 (  of 31.13125 MMSTB;  of 0.21347 MMSTB).

Abstract

Oil production decline must be evaluated to estimate future well performance and Estimated Ultimate Recovery (EUR). This study aimed to evaluate the Exponential, Harmonic, and Hyperbolic Decline models for SWIFT Field Well S-6 and determine the most suitable model for production forecasting. Decline Curve Analysis was applied to historical production data from day 1 to day 1245, which were converted into monthly production data and divided into Trend 1 and Trend 2. For the Hyperbolic Decline model, the b values for Trend 1 and Trend 2 were determined using a trial-and-error approach, and model performance was evaluated using qi, Di, b, RMSE, and R². The results showed that the Hyperbolic Decline model provided the best fit for Trend 1, while the Harmonic Decline model was the best for Trend 2 with an RMSE of 2.0945 STB/day and an R² of 0.9282. The Harmonic Decline model was selected for production forecasting until the 5 STB/day economic limit, resulting in an Estimated Ultimate Recovery of 241,732.43 STB.

Abstract

Pak Gino Tofu Factory in Wonogiri still experiences product quality problems, including defects in shape, texture, color, and taste, which may reduce product quality and customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze product defects, identify their causes, and propose improvements using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma. A mixed-methods approach was employed. SPC analysis utilized check sheets, P-Charts, Pareto charts, and fishbone diagrams, while the Six Sigma approach followed the DMAIC framework. Root causes were analyzed using the 5 Whys method, and improvement priorities were determined through Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). The results show that shape defects were the most dominant, followed by texture, taste, and color defects. The main causes were related to human factors, methods, materials, machines, and the work environment. Proposed improvements include developing SOPs, providing operator training, strengthening process supervision, improving raw material control, and conducting regular equipment maintenance to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Abstract

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an integrated information system that connects various business functions within a single centralized database, making it the operational backbone of modern organizations, from large enterprises to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Although its benefits are widely recognized, ERP implementation failure rates remain reportedly high, with some studies citing failure rates exceeding 70 percent of all projects undertaken. This article presents a narrative literature review of the critical success factors (CSFs) of ERP implementation based on prior systematic reviews and empirical studies. The review identifies six main groups of factors that consistently appear in the literature: top management support, change management, user training and education, user involvement, data quality and validation, and system-process fit. This article also discusses the differing implementation challenges faced by large organizations compared to SMEs, given that resource constraints in SMEs create a distinct risk profile. This review is intended as a preliminary reference for researchers and practitioners in designing more targeted ERP implementation strategies and to open avenues for further empirical research in the Indonesian organizational context.

Abstract

This study aims to redesign the layout of the box warehouse and packing area to make it more effective and efficient. The existing problems include suboptimal space utilization, inefficient material flow, and poorly organized work areas. The method used is Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) combined with the 5R approach (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). The results show that the proposed layout improves space utilization efficiency, streamlines material flow, and enhances workplace organization. Therefore, the implementation of SLP and 5R is proven to be effective in improving warehouse operational performance.
