Abstract

Effective porosity (PHIE) is a critical petrophysical parameter in reservoir evaluation, yet its conventional determination through core analysis is constrained by high costs and limited data coverage, particularly in heterogeneous reservoirs with nonlinear log relationships. This study analyzes the performance of three machine learning algorithms, namely K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN), Random Forest (RF), and Gradient Boosting (GB), in predicting PHIE from well logging data (Gamma Ray, Bulk Density, Neutron Porosity, Sonic Transit Time) using Orange Data Mining, with a 75% training and 25% testing split validated through Stratified 10-Fold Cross Validation. Results show Gradient Boosting achieved the best performance (R² = 0.828; RMSE = 0.012; MAE = 0.008), followed by Random Forest (R² = 0.812) and K-NN (R² = 0.754). The sequential boosting mechanism proved more adaptive in capturing nonlinear relationships between log parameters and effective porosity, offering an efficient tool for formation evaluation with reduced reliance on core data.

Abstract

Home Industry Marno Art Collection is a business in the field of fabric production and dyeing that still uses manual work processes so that it has various potential occupational hazards. This study aims to identify potential hazards, assess the level of risk, and determine risk control using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) methods. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results showed that the highest risk was found in chemical exposure in the dye mixing process with a risk value of 16 which is included in the high category. Recommended risk controls include the use of personal protective equipment, improved ventilation, preparation of SOPs, and OHS training. The application of the HIRADC and JSA methods is effective in identifying hazards and determining risk control priorities.

Abstract

Plastic waste problems require management strategies that not only reduce waste volume but also create added value through a waste to value approach. This study aims to analyze research development on waste to value based plastic recycling toward a circular economy using bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review. Data were collected from Scopus using open-access article criteria from 2021 to 2026. A total of 27 articles were analyzed bibliometrically using VOSviewer, while 25 full-text articles were synthesized through SLR. The bibliometric results show that plastic recycling, plastic waste, recycling, and valorization are dominant keywords, while activated carbon, bio-based solvents, 3D printing, and effluent treatment remain potential research areas. The SLR results indicate that plastic waste can be converted into construction materials, composites, monomers, chemicals, energy, membranes, adsorbents, catalysts, and recycled packaging. Future studies should integrate technical, environmental, economic, and regulatory evaluations..

Abstract

Product distribution that does not optimally consider the distance traveled and vehicle capacity can increase the company's operational costs. This study aims to optimize distribution routes using the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor methods and compare the efficiency level of the proposed routes with the company's actual routes. The results showed that the distribution routes were successfully optimized from 6 routes to 4 routes. The total distribution distance was reduced from 273 km to 196.03 km or experienced savings of 76.97 km (28.19%). Distribution costs decreased from Rp10,674,438 to Rp8,107,482 resulting in savings of 24.05%, while fleet capacity utilization increased from 54% to 80%. These results indicate that the combination of the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor methods is effective in increasing the efficiency of CNG product distribution at CV. XYZ.

Abstract

Shallow gas well cementing risks gas migration and lost circulation due to low fracture gradients. This study analyzes the effects of Hollow Glass Spheres (HGS) additives on the rheological parameters of a 11.67 ppg Class G cement slurry. Testing based on API RP 10B-2 standards was conducted under BHCT 142°F at Jasa Energi Nasional, Balikpapan. Results showed Sample 1 (HGS System) yielded a Plastic Viscosity of 61.5 cP, a Yield Point of 14.5 lb/100 ft², and a 10-Minute Gel Strength of 16.00 lb/100 ft² as a reliable anti-segregation agent. Conversely, Sample 2 (Baseline) induced a weak gel (11.00 lb/100 ft²) that triggers particle settling. HGS effectively optimizes the flowability of ultra-lightweight cement slurries to remain pumpable.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the sub-factors of digital-based logistics competitive advantage at PT J&T Express in Purwakarta Regency. This suburban area possesses unique geo-economic characteristics that challenge the company's supply chain digitalization capabilities. Data collection was conducted quantitatively through structured questionnaires distributed to 81 service users. Data analysis was completed using an integrative method of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) for dimensional reduction and path regression analysis assisted by SmartPLS 4. Empirical results indicate that among the six sub-factors, only Factor 2  (Tariff Effectiveness) proved to have a positive and significant effect on Competitive Advantage with a path coefficient of 0.428 and a P-value of 0.001. The other five macro-technology sub-factors were insignificant because the suburban market is more price-sensitive and values basic reliability over complex features.

Abstract

Transaction data fragmentation across multi-platform e-commerce triggers motorcycle spare part inventory imbalances. This study aims to objectively cluster spare part products to support inventory control. Employing a quantitative approach, the research analyzed a sample of 56,514 transaction records from Cuix Motorcycle, Syafik Jaya, and MSM 17 stores on Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Lazada from April 2025 to March 2026. The methodology integrated K-Means Clustering and the Elbow Method using Python. The Elbow Method identified  as the optimal cluster count, validated by a Silhouette Score of 0.761. Segmentation categorized products into three performance tiers: Fast Moving (291 items), Medium Moving (5,516 items), and Slow Moving (775 items). Recommendations include applying Safety Stock for Fast Moving items, Reorder Point systems for Medium Moving items, and Just-In-Time or bundling strategies for Slow Moving items to optimize working capital.

Abstract

Cementing is an important stage in drilling operations that requires cement quality control to provide appropriate strength and setting time. This study aims to analyze the effect of adding alum additives on the mechanical properties and setting time of drilling cement. Tests were conducted using the Compressive Strength and Setting Time method with variations in alum concentration of 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4% BWOC. The results show that the Compressive Strength value increases with increasing alum concentration, from 538.294 psi in the base cement to 1,267.898 psi with the addition of 4% BWOC, all meeting the API minimum standard of 500 psi. The addition of alum also accelerates the Initial Setting Time from 315 minutes to 15 minutes and the Final Setting Time from 430 minutes to 45 minutes. Based on the results of the study, an alum concentration of 3% BWOC provides the most optimal performance because it produces a high increase in compressive strength with a setting time that is still suitable for well cementing applications.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) and Break Even Point (BEP) as a basis for determining sales strategies at Kaleela Chocolate Fountain. A quantitative descriptive method was employed using sales, fixed cost, variable cost, and profit data from January to May 2026. The analysis included the calculation of Contribution Margin (CM), Contribution Margin Ratio (CMR), Break Even Point (BEP), Margin of Safety (MOS), and target sales. The results indicate that the CMR ranged from 32.51% to 45.69%, while the required sales target to achieve an average monthly profit of IDR 7,400,200 ranged from IDR 17,161,336 to IDR 24,119,457. Actual sales met the target only in January and February. Therefore, the recommended strategies include strengthening digital marketing, expanding collaboration with Wedding Organizers and Event Organizers, controlling variable costs, and offering promotional packages to improve sales volume and profitability.

Abstract

Lost circulation is a critical drilling problem that causes drilling fluid to enter the formation, triggering wellbore instability and higher operational costs. In the ZR Well, a severely depleted zone (1.7 ppg) at approximately 7,200 ft depth carries a high risk of total circulation loss. This study evaluates the effectiveness of various concentrations of multimodal Loss circulation material (LCM), combining Safecarb, Quick seal fine, and G-seal plus, in reducing fluid loss in a 10.5 ppg Synthetic Oil-Based Mud system. The method used secondary data from Permeability plugging test (PPT) results under HTHP conditions (280°F, 2,000 psi differential pressure, 60-micron ceramic disk) with total additive concentrations ranging from 2.5 to 10 ppb. Results show that increasing LCM concentration consistently reduced filtrate volume, with the best performance at 10 ppb (spurt loss 1.0 mL; total fluid loss 8.2 mL), producing a thin, dense, and impermeable filter cake. The 10 ppb formulation is recommended as the optimal solution for mitigating loss circulation in the ZR Well.
