Abstract

Maintenance system is an activity conducted to ensure that machines or equipment are always ready to use. PT. RAPP uses a filler machine in the nursery area to fill cocopeat media into trays. The filler machine works optimally at a capacity of 600 kg (multiplied by two cycles) to fill 180 trays per day. When experiencing damage, this filler machine can only be used at a capacity of 300 kg (multiplied by four cycles) to fill 150-165 trays per day. To reduce machine downtime when there is damage, the implementation of machine maintenance management is needed. OEE is a method used to calculate machine effectiveness based on availability, performance, and quality. Using data from May 2022 to April 2023, the average OEE value obtained is 60.66%, indicating that the filler machine performance is below the standard of 85%. The calculation of the Six Big Losses shows that the values affecting machine performance are breakdown losses with a time loss of 22,825 minutes, rework losses with a time loss of 15.8 minutes, and setup and adjustment with a time loss of 41.8 minutes, indicating that the largest factor and the main cause affecting the OEE value of the filler machine is breakdown losses, which reduces the production rate.

Abstract

The thin layer model describes the drying process uniformly, regardless of the control mechanism. Fundamentally, using experimental data on dried materials can be explained by the method used. The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics of the pineapple drying process using a thin layer model. Drying using the oven method at 60°C. The thin layer drying model uses Newton, logarithmic, and Midilli models. The statistical parameters used are R2 and SSE. The water content obtained did not differ much between the two varieties, namely 13, 27, and 13.14 (% db). The results of the comparison of the three models used lead to different results with R² values ​​of 0.89–0.96 and SSE 0.0095–0.0013 based on the non-linear regression analysis used. The Midilli model shows the best results with R² parameters of 0.06 and 0.94 and SSE of 0.0019 and 0.0025..

Abstract

Occupational health and safety (OHS) in the phosphate acid plant industry is crucial due to the potential hazards from chemical substances and mechanical equipment. This study analyzes hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures using the HIRADC method at PT XYZ. The results show that HIRADC effectively reduces risks from high to moderate or low categories. Key identified hazards include liquid spills, forklift-related risks, conveyor entrapment, ball mill noise, and phosphate rock dust exposure. Control measures implemented include regular cleaning, safety signage, personal protective equipment (PPE), and the LOTO system. This study recommends further research to enhance risk management effectiveness.

Abstract

The potential for sugar cane in 2021 is 447,339 hectares. This area increased by around 56,661 hectares to 504,000 hectares. The total production of sugar cane is 2,350,809 tons in 2021 and will increase by 2,740,000 tons in 2023. The increase in production is in line with the amount of solid waste bagasse produced. Solid waste in the form of bagasse amounting to 756,582.72 tons in 2021 is a processing opportunity and requires downstream processing. Sugarcane bagasse has a calorific value of 4282.35 cal/gr. The compound content in sugarcane bagasse solid waste is (22.4%), C/N ratio (89.6%), N (0.25%), phosphate content (0.15-0.22%), and K2O (0.2-0.38%). Dry bagasse can be one of the main materials that supplies heating value to boilers and turbines for power plants. Utilization of sugarcane bagasse has the potential to produce a calorific value of 1.380 billion kcal which can be allocated to electricity generation needs.

Abstract

This research discusses the authority of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) in examining village funds sourced from the State Budget (APBN) and its function towards the agricultural sector. Based on Law No. 15/2006, BPK is responsible for ensuring transparency and accountability in village financial management. BPK emphasizes transparency and accountability are essential in the use of village funds to prevent misuse and allow the community to be involved in supervision, which has a positive impact on village development, including the agricultural sector. The research method uses a normative approach with legal analysis to evaluate the implementation of BPK's authority at the village level. The results show that the level of transparency in the management of village funds varies in each village. Some villages have implemented good information systems, such as periodic publication of financial reports including the use of information.

Abstract

Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University (UP) in Riau Province has an Informatics Engineering Study Program that accepts new students every year from various regions around Bangkinang. Incoming student data is processed to assist decision making, especially in the field of promotion. This study aims to apply the K-Means algorithm to Informatics Engineering Study Program student data, with attributes of student name and district of origin, to group regions based on promotion potential. The K-Means method is used to group data into three clusters: High Priority, Medium Priority, and Low Priority. The results of the analysis show that there are 22 regions included in the High Priority Cluster, 23 regions in the Medium Priority Cluster, and 43 regions in the Low Priority Cluster. Regions in the High Priority Cluster are the main priority for promotion strategies, while regions in the Medium Priority and Low Priority Clusters require a more focused promotion approach. This study provides an important contribution to the promotion strategy of the Informatics Engineering Study Program at UP by using a data mining approach to increase the visibility of the study program in the community

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors inhibiting MSME marketing in the food sector in Cilegon City. The method used consists of a quantitative survey involving 100 MSME players and in-depth interviews with 10 selected MSME players. The results show that limited capital, low marketing knowledge, limited use of technology, and narrow market access are the main constraints. In addition, complicated government regulations also exacerbate marketing barriers. Most MSME players still rely on traditional marketing methods and need support in digital marketing and ease of business licensing. This study suggests that the government provide greater training and support to accelerate the growth of MSMEs in the food sector.

Abstract

Sediment produced by the erosion process and carried by water flow, will be deposited in a place where the flow rate slows down or stops. The occurrence of sedimentation can affect the morphological conditions of the river where the elevation of the river bed will decrease due to shallowing. As a result, the water capacity in the river is reduced so that it cannot maximize the function of the river. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the sediment transport rate and the volume of sediment transport in the Larona River in the Larona River Area in the Larona River located in Pongkeru Village, Malili District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The results of this study indicate that the sediment rate of the Larona River was obtained at 23016.24 tons / ha / year and the volume of sediment transport in the Larona River in the Larona River Basin was obtained at 15.46 m3/year.

Abstract

More frequent extreme rainfall can cause floods and landslides in some areas of Banten, especially in mountainous and hilly areas, The increase in air temperature in Banten tends to increase in recent decades. This can affect agricultural productivity and increase the risk of forest and land fires. Uncertain rainfall patterns can affect the agricultural sector and the availability of clean water in Banten, to overcome the impact of climate change, the Banten Provincial Government has taken several mitigation and adaptation measures, such as improving flood control infrastructure, planting mangroves in coastal areas, and implementing agricultural practices that are more resilient to climate change. The purpose of this study is to determine the model of the intensity and influence of climate variables on the intensity of rainfall due to global warming in the Cidanau watershed, Serang Regency, Banten Province. The methods used in this study are frequency analysis, probability, compatibility test and rain intensity analysis based on climate simulation. The results of this study obtained a model of the intensity of climate parameters that have the most influence on the intensity of rain for the simulation of 1 variable is air humidity (Rh) with the equation I (RH) = 166,10 X-0,666 , For the simulation, 2 variables are wind speed and air humidity (W-RH) with the equation I (W-RH) = 177,84 X-0,666 and the highest influence is the simulation of 3 variables of temperature, wind speed, and air humidity (T-W-RH) simultaneously with the equation I (T-W-RH) = 190,70 X-0,666.

Abstract

The work performance of the Gorontalo State University (UNG) Maritime Integrated Laboratory Building Construction Project can be influenced by labor productivity. To increase labor productivity, it is important to ensure that the workforce remains safe and healthy when carrying out work activities because in construction work there is a lot of risk of injury or accident. fatal if not prevented or addressed will have fatal consequences. This makes the Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3). Occupational Safety and Health (K3) factors for workers that can influence Work Productivity are: Work Safety, Environmental Management, Communication Management, Environmental Monitoring, and Work Mobilization. This is proven to be in accordance with the results of statistical data analysis using the Analysis method. Multiple Regression. From the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) factors for workers that can influence Job Productivity above, which are the most dominant or influential based on the analysis of Multiple Regression results, it can be concluded that the Job Mobilization Factor has a Constant Value of 0.194 which is greater than the Constant Value in Other factors.
