Abstract

This research aims to develop Snakes and Ladders Science as a learning medium for Global Warming material for class VII students at MTs Negeri 11 Jombang. This research includes development research using the ADDIE model through the stages of analysis, design, development and evaluation. The result of the development is Snakes and Ladders Science as a learning medium with an average validity value of 85.74% by material experts, 89.28% by media experts, and 94.64% by science teachers at MTs Negeri 11 Jombang. From the three validators, an average validity value of 89.89% was obtained with very valid criteria. This research was motivated by a lack of student interest and interest in learning because the learning methods used by teachers were less innovative and teachers had not utilized appropriate media to make it easier for students to understand the material presented, especially on Global Warming. Students prefer learning while playing. For this reason, it is necessary to develop innovative learning media. The data collection technique in this development research was through a questionnaire distributed to 33 students at MTs Negeri 11 Jombang on February 10 2021. The data obtained from the questionnaire was analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sebuah kebutuhan yang utama bagi tiap manusia. Salah satu ilmu pengetahuan yang penting dalam kemajuan proses berfikir serta mampu menyelesaikan masalah didalam  kehidupan sehari-hari adalah matematika. Masih banyak peserta didik dikalangan pesantren yang masih membeda-bedakan antara pelajaran agama dengan pelajaran umum khususnya matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa LKPD bermuatan nilai-nilai Islam berbasis masalah pembelajaran materi himpunan. Artikel ini adalah bagian dari penelitian besar pada pengembangan media pembelajaran dengan model ADDIE. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Langkah yang dilakukan hanya tahap 1 sampai 3 yaitu analisis, perancangan dan pengembangan. Hasil validasi dari dosen memperoleh hasil rata-rata 83,3% dengan kriteria sangat valid dan hasil validasi dari guru mendapatkan hasil rata-rata 82,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil rata-rata validasi dari kedua validator adalah 82,9% dengan kriteria sangat valid.

Abstract

The memorization method used by the teacher made the students bored in their vocabulary class so they had low vocabulary mastery. Therefore, the researchers conducted a pre- experimental study by implementing mind mapping method to teach vocabulary. The study purpose was to find out whether or not mind mapping method was effective for teaching vocabulary. The research design used was one group pre-test post-test. This study population was 180 students of class VIII at a private Junior high school in Gresik. Meanwhile, this study sample was 30 students of class VIII D taken using a purposive sampling. The instruments used were the vocabulary pre-test and post-test. After the pre-test and post-test data was collected, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Then, the data were calculated their normality and analyzed using a paired sample test. The results showed that: (1) the average score of the pre-test was 56.67, the mean score of the post-test was 72 and the sig. (2-tailed) score of the paired sample test was 0.000. Thus, it can be said that the student’s vocabulary mastery became better after the mind mapping method implementation and mind mapping method was effective for teaching vocabulary.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan aspek penting dalam kehidupan yang berpengaruh pada pengembangan potensi individu, terutama dalam mata pelajaran matematika yang sering menjadi tantangan bagi siswa. Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep statistika, yang dapat menghambat hasil belajar mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII MTsN 12 Jombang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain posttest control group. Sampel terdiri dari 64 siswa, di mana 32 siswa berada di kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model STAD, dan 32 siswa di kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Data diperoleh melalui post-test dan dianalisis secara Inferensial menggunakan uji t untuk menentukan signifikansi perbedaan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai post-test kelas control adalah 59,53, sedangkan rata-rata hasil post-test kelas eksperimen 85,47 yang melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) 76, dengan tingkat signifikansi (0,000 < 0,05).

Abstract

The students’ less interest and motivation in learning vocabulary caused their poor vocabulary mastery. Therefore, the researchers were interested in conducting a pre-experimental study to know whether running dictation strategy was effective for teaching vocabulary. The population of this study was all the students of class VIII of MTs. Bahrul Ulum Genukwatu, Jombang. Then, the sample was 30 students of class VIII A. The instruments used to collect the data were pre- test and post-test of vocabulary. The students got the pre-test before the treatment conducted and the post-test after the treatment. After all the data from the pre-test and post-test were collected, the mean scores of the pre-test and post-test were calculated. It was followed by a paired-sample t- test calculation because their mean scores were different. The results showed that the mean score in the pre-test was 57 and the mean score of the post-test was 78. The sig. (2-tailed) score of the paired-sample t-test was 0.000. It means that the implementation of running dictation strategy was effective for teaching vocabulary. Thus, it is hoped that the results of this study can become a reference for the EFL teachers when teaching vocabulary.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe students' critical thinking abilities in solving problems with linear programming material in terms of Field-Dependent and Field-Independent cognitive styles. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research instruments used in this research include the cognitive style test (GEFT test), critical thinking ability test, and interview guide. The subjects used in this research were 4 students taken from class XI of Dewantoro Purwosari Vocational School. According to the results of the GEFT test that was carried out, the subject was 2 students with a Field- Dependent cognitive style and 2 students with a Field-Independent cognitive style. The information retrieval techniques used in this research are the GEFT test, critical thinking ability test, and interview guide. Next, the data collection technique used is reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. At the stage of checking the validity of the data, this research used triangulation techniques, namely tests and interviews. The results of this research state that students who have a Field-Dependent cognitive style have quite high critical thinking abilities. And able to fulfill 3 indicators of critical thinking ability including the analysis stage, evaluation stage and inference stage (conclusion). Meanwhile, the subject interpretation stage FD1 is classified as sufficient, while FD2 is classified as not yet sufficient. Meanwhile, students who have a Field- Independent cognitive style have high critical thinking abilities. And able to fulfill 4 indicators of critical thinking ability including the interpretation stage, analysis stage, evaluation stage and inference stage (conclusion).

Abstract

This research was conducted on 8th class students of Junior High School 1 Sugio on the material of a system of two-variable linear equations by applying a problem-based learning model with the aim of knowing the effect of problem-based learning on students' critical thinking skills. This study is a quantitative research. The data obtained in this study were from tests taking 8A and 8B samples. The data analysis technique used are the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. In the Independent Sample T-Test hypothesis test decision making criteria it is said that if the Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 then it is accepted. In this study Sig. (2-tailed) less than 0.05 (0.017 < 0.05). So the hypothesis test is accepted. So it can be concluded that using a problem-based learning model can influence the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in the matter of a system of two-variable linear equations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model on statistics material for class VII junior high school on mathematical problem solving abilities. This research was a quantitative research using Quasi Experimental Design. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Class VII D, consisted of 24 students as the experimental class and class VII C consisted 24 students as the control class. The instruments used in this research were Pretest-Posttest with 3 questions. The data analysis techniques used in processing the data were analysis prerequisite tests (normality test and homogeneity test), hypothesis testing, and the N-Gain test. Based on the results of calculations that have been carried out, the posttest average value for the experimental class was 92, while the posttest average value for the control class was 85. In addition, based on the data obtained from the results of the hypothesis testing, it results that the  value is 0.000 then Ho  is rejected and Ha is accepted. This is in line with the average N-Gain value in the experimental class resulting in 0.82 high criteria, while the average N-Gain value in the control class produces 0.66 medium criteria. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

The research sample was all 18 class V students. The data analysis technique uses the t test and average results. The research results prove that there is a significant influence with an average pre-test of 55.00 and post-test of 77.22, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 (significance level guidelines). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of the bamboo dance learning model on the ability to understand the contents of oral stories of class V students at SDN Mejoyolosari, Jombang Regency. ntents of oral stories of class V students at SDN Mejoyolosari Jombang Regency. Abstract

Artikel ini membahas hubungan antara kecerdasan buatan (AI), khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning), dan perspektif epistemologi. Seiring dengan berkembangnya AI yang berbasis data dan ateoretis, pendekatan ini menantang paradigma epistemologi tradisional yang berfokus pada teori dan justifikasi pengetahuan universal. AI, dengan kemampuannya untuk memberikan personalisasi berdasarkan data yang kontekstual, membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap cara kita memahami dan menghasilkan pengetahuan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana AI menggeser fokus epistemologi dari pencarian kebenaran universal menuju pengetahuan yang lebih dinamis dan terfokus pada kebutuhan individu, serta implikasi filsafat ilmu dalam mengevaluasi konsep-konsep dasar seperti kebenaran, justifikasi, dan teori pengetahuan. Penelitian ini mengajak pembaca untuk merenungkan peran AI sebagai agen epistemik yang tidak hanya memengaruhi teknologi, tetapi juga pemahaman kita tentang pengetahuan di era modern.
