Abstract

In the 19th and 20th centuries, there were a number of battles the Balinese people fought against the Dutch colonial government. Resistance either in the form of war or puputan occurred successively in the royal territories in Bali, starting from the Buleleng war, Jagaraga war, Banjar war, Kusamba war, Badung puputan, Klungkung puputan to Margarana puputan. This paper focuses on the Jagaraga war within the framework of national history which was carried out by the Balinese people under the command or army leaders from among the kings, governors, relatives of the kings, and even among ordinary people, such as Jero Jempiring at the Battle of Jagaraga. From this background, the problems discussed in this paper are: (1) What is the meaning of the link between the paramilitary leader and his followers? (2) What is the meaning of Hindu philosophy in the Jagaraga war? and (3) What is the meaning of the Jagaraga war in the framework of National history?.

Abstract

This article describes the unique culture and historical heritage that is owned by the City of Cirebon, a city that is rich in identity and traditional traditions. The main focus of this article is on the role of commercialization and the tourism industry in preserving and promoting the culture and heritage of Cirebon City to tourists. This article also examines the relationship between art, architecture, traditional traditions and culinary arts and the identity of the city of Cirebon, and how these elements become the main attraction for tourists. Through an in-depth search, this article provides insight into the efforts made by the government and local communities to maintain and develop the cultural wealth and historical heritage of Cirebon City, while still considering the impact of commercialization on cultural authenticity and sustainability. This research is important for understanding the importance of cultural preservation and developing appropriate strategies for developing sustainable tourism that can provide economic and social benefits for the people of Cirebon City without compromising their identity and cultural integrity.

Abstract

Teaching Japanese especially in learning kanji is very difficult, so the teacher tries the drill method which aims to make it easy for students to remember kanji letters from how to read kanji and how to write the kanji for each stroke and also to find out the obstacles students experience during the kanji learning process. The method used in learning kanji is the Drill method for three weeks. The subjects in this study were 30 students of LPK Dwipayana Cipta Karya located in Bunutan Village, Ubud. The type of data in this study uses quantitative data which is used in calculating the results of students' kanji answers and qualitative data which will be presented by the results of the questionnaire and combined with the results of interviews with teachers and students. Methods and data research techniques in this study, namely using observation before knowing the weaknesses experienced by students at LPK Dwipayana Cipta Karya, then distributing questionnaires related to starch to students, after that conducting interviews with students and teachers regarding the results obtained from the results of the questionnaire. It can be concluded from the results of the analysis that the drill method is very effective in learning kanji for LPK Dwipayana Cipta Karya students. It can be seen from the fact that there are more students who get vulnerable kanji scores of 70-100 than students who get <70 because after receiving kanji training at LPK and not practicing back independently.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat membuat bebeapa kemajuan di bidang teknologi. Perkembangan teknologi tersebut memberikan dampak positif di berbagai bidang termasuk dalam bidang Pendidikan. Namun perkembangan teknologi yang pesat tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan kemampuan sumber daya manusia dalam memanfaatkannya. Game Online merupakan salah satu produk teknologi yang pada saat ini memberikan dampak negative terhadap dunia Pendidikan dikarenakan kurangnya minat belajar siswa dikarenakan kecanduan bermain game online tersebut. Masalah penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar motivasi siswa SMPN 2 Pasawahan bermain game online, seberapa tinggi pengaruh permainan game online terhadap perkembangan disiplin siswa, seberapa tinggi pengaruh permainan game online terhadap prestasi siswa, dan upaya apa yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengatasi siswa kecanduan game online. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar motivasi siswa SMPN 2 Pasawahan bermain game online, seberapa tinggi pengaruh permainan game online terhadap perkembangan disiplin siswa, seberapa tinggi pengaruh permainan game online terhadap prestasi siswa, dan upaya apa yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengatasi siswa kecanduan game online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 60 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner atau angket dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Hasil uji t hitung menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung adalah -10.377 serta nilai signifikansi 0.000 atau kurang dari 0.05. nilai koefisien dari X1 (Game Online) adalah -0.110 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa game online memiliki pengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap perkembangan disiplin dan prestasi siswa.

Abstract

Jepang dikenal memiliki beragam tradisi dan budaya yang menarik bagi para wisatawan lokal maupun internasional, salah satu yang cukup terkenal adalah budaya berendam menggunakan air panas. Beberapa aktivitas berendam di air panas antara lain masuk ke ofuro (bak mandi milik pribadi), sento (pemandian air panas umum), dan onsen (pemandian air panas dari sumber mata air alami). Seiring perkembangan zaman dan kebutuhan terhadap onsen, maka onsen juga dapat ditemui di mayoritas ryokan (penginapan dengan fasilitas dan arsitektur Jepang) ataupun SPA yang ada di seluruh wilayah di Jepang. SPA adalah salah satu produk wisata yang menawarkan pengalam rileksasi dalam harmonisasi efek yaitu “wellbeing for body, mind, and spirit”. Kata SPA merupakan singkatan bahasa Latin yaitu Solum per Aqua yang berarti kesehatan yang dapat disalurkan dengan tenaga air. Namun demikian, SPA di Bali tampil berbeda dengan menampilkan massage (pijitan), aromaterapi, dan keindahan alam daerah tropis sebagai branding-nya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi budaya onsen yang bermanfaat untuk pengembangan SPA di Bali, khususnya untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan Jepang ke Bali. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif dan studi kepustakaan. Sedangkan proses analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya onsen dapat menjadi potensi pengembangan SPA di Bali, yaitu dengan menjadikan air sebagai daya tarik, baik berupa ketersediaan pemandian air panas buatan, sauna, pasir panas, kolam lumpur panas, atau treatment pijat menggunakan air.

Abstract

Nowadays we can meet people with various types of personality that are diverse and sometimes unique. Therefore, this research entitled "A Personality Study of the Main Character in Luca Movie" has the main objective to analyze the personality of the main character in a movie entitled ‘Luca’. The method used is the documentation method to capture every scene and dialogue, which will be used as data in this study, and after that it will be continued by describing each data obtained in order to get a clearer understanding. This research uses the personality type theory proposed by Jason Gale in his book entitled ‘How to Analyze People Ultimate Guide; Learn Psychology, Body Language, Perception, Types of Personalities, and Universal Rules’. This movie has three characters as the main characters; Luca Paguro, Alberto Scorfano, and Giulia Marcovando. The results of this study indicate that Luca Paguro is the protagonist of this story and he also has introverted and feeler nature. While his friend, Alberto Scorfano is an adventurer, he is an extrovert who is also a censor. And lastly, Giulia Marcovando is an extroverted censorship type girl and a defender as seen from how she tries to protect Luca and Alberto.

Abstract

Japanese is a foreign language that has many variations of the lexicon. One of them is the variation of the lexicon in the verb. This article discusses the meaning and use of the verb 'to change' in Japanese ruigigo. This study focuses on sentences used by native Japanese speakers. Data collection was carried out through interviews and note taking techniques. The author conducts interviews directly with Japanese people while recording sentences containing synonyms for the verb 'change' in Japanese. The data were analyzed using a contextual meaning theory approach (Pateda, 2010) by describing them in Japanese sentences. From the data found, in Japanese there are 4 verbs that mean 'change', namely: kawaru, henka suru, hendou suru, and henkou suru. (1) kawaru states changes in terms of (weather, price, facial expression, leaf color, attitude), (2) henka suru states changes in terms of (verb forms, weather, language, post-war conditions, physical/body, patient health), (3) henkou suru stated changes in terms of (gold prices, consumer prices, temperature) and (4) henkou suru stated changes in terms of (stay schedules, regulations, plans, addresses, meeting schedules). The results of the study show that each of these verbs has a different use depending on the context of the situation. In some ways, the verbs kawaru and henka suru can be substituted for each other in the context of changing weather, as well as the verbs kawaru and hendou suru in the context of changing prices

Abstract

Desa Wisata Krebet berkembang sejak tahun 2000. Desa wisata ini bertumpu pada kerajinan batik kayu sebagai daya tarik wisata. Adanya aktivitas pariwisata terbukti mampu meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Krebet. Hal ini menyebabkan industri kerajinan kayu juga ikut berkembang. Perkembangan ini membawa dampak positif terhadap perekonomian setempat. Tidak hanya manfaat ekonomi yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat, namun juga adanya kesadaran lingkungan dan perhatian terhadap pelestarian budaya lokal menjadikan hal ini sangat erat dengan paradigma pembangunan pariwisata berkelanjutan yang mengarah pada praktik pariwisata yang bertanggung jawab. Pembangunan pariwisata berkelanjutan terdiri dari tiga aspek, yaitu keberlanjutan lingkungan, ekonomi, dan sosial-budaya dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini ingin mengkaji praktik pariwisata yang diterapkan di Desa Wisata Krebet dengan mengacu pada konsep pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Metode deskriptif kualitatif dan studi kepustakaan dipilih dalam penelitian ini. Proses analisis data terdiri dari tahap pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh gambaran, bahwa Krebet lahir dari internal struggle. Ada heterogenitas dalam homogenitas. Ada hubungan memberi dan menerima yang saling menguntungkan. Desa Wisata Krebet telah menerapkan praktik-praktik pariwisata berkelanjutan dengan memperhatikan aspek keberlanjutan lingkungan, ekonomi, dan budaya.

Abstract

This study discusses the social values ??of the Samin people in the village of Larikrejo which aims to (1) find out the factors that cause the Samin people to stick to their values ??and traditions, (2) find out the social values ??of the Samin tribe and (3) find out the values ??and the traditions of the Samin people in terms of everyday life. In this study, researchers used ethnographic research methods. The ethnographic method is a method used to describe things related to the Samin community in depth. In this study, it shows that social values ??between the Samin people and the surrounding community are in the form of cooperation and interaction, this form of interaction, both the Samin tribe and the community in general, often cooperate in terms of mutual cooperation between members of the community, for example mutual cooperation in building residents' houses in splice system. In social interaction between the Samin community and the surrounding community, it is influenced by several factors, namely the social situation, the power of group norms, personal goals, position and individual conditions and finding situations. The obstacles faced in social interaction between the Samin community and the surrounding community are language differences that are difficult for the surrounding community to understand and the difference in values ??between the two social groups.

Abstract

This research is titled "Youkai Characters in Onmyoji Arena Game". This research aims to describe the depiction of youkai used as characters in the Onmyoji Arena game. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. This research uses semiotics theory according to Charles Sanders Peirce. Based on the research results, there are five youkai taken in the Onmyoji Arena game. The depiction of the form of youkai contained in the Onmyoji Arena game has several things related to the concept of youkai in Japanese beliefs. The depictions seen in the youkai in the Onmyoji Arena game are (1) Youkai Tanuki who is related to sake and the science of shapeshifting. (2) Youkai Zashiki Warashi which is related to luck and house guardian spirits. (3) Youkai Yumekui who likes to eat dreams. (4) Youkai Kiyohime who has a tragic love. (5) Youkai Aoandon who is related to the event 'Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai'. These five youkai produce icons, indexes, and symbols. The icon is an image, the index is the emergence of the youkai, and the symbol is the meaning of the youkai in Japanese society.
