Abstract

This study aims to find out Job Satifaction Of PT. Ira Jaya Satria Employees. In this study, the sample used was 68 employees using the total sampling technique. Based on the analysis used in this study, Product Moment Correlation, data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a descriptive analysis technique which is then percentaged and categorized. The results of the study showed that employee job satisfaction was in the high category with a percentage obtained of 11.8% or as many as 8 employees stated that employee job satisfaction was very high, as much as 75.0% or as many as 51 employees stated that employee job satisfaction was moderate, by 13.2% or as many as 9 employees stated that employee job satisfaction was low Job satisfaction is reviewed from salary, promotion, employer, benefits, awards, work procedures, colleagues, nature of work and communication.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the psychological well-being of victims of sexual violence at the Belawan Fishing Community Assessment and Development Center which is located in the Land and Sea Coast villages. The sampling technique was a total of 35 people. Data collection was used using a psychological well-being scale. Based on the results of a descriptive analysis of psychological well-being in victims of sexual violence at the Belawan Fishermen Community Assessment and Development Center, the value of the autonomy aspect was 19%, the value of the environmental mastery aspect was 17%, the value of the personal development aspect was 17%, the value of the positive relationship aspect with others was 16%, the value of the life goal aspect was 16%, and the average value of the self-acceptance aspect was 15%. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be known that the one that has the highest percentage, namely the value of the autonomous aspect of 19%, and the one that has the lowest percentage, namely the self-acceptance aspect of 15%, based on the table, it is known that victims of sexual violence at the Center for the Study Development of the Belawan Fishermen Community have low self-acceptance and high autonomy where the victim feels independent and has control over their life

Abstract

This research aims to empirically test and determine the relationship between physical changes and anxiety in middle-aged women in Sari Rejo Village. The sampling technique uses the Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection used a Likert scale, through physical changes and anxiety scales. In determining the results of this research, a data collection methodology was used utilizing the Anxiety scale and Physical Change scale. Based on the results of product-moment correlation analysis calculations, it can be seen that there is a negative relationship between physical changes and anxiety. This result is proven by the correlation coefficient rxy = -0.368 with significant p= 0.001 0.05. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2= 0.304. This shows that physical changes distribute 30.4% of anxiety.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect between organizational communication with work motivation on employees of PT Bank Sumut KC Binjai. This research uses a quantitative approach method. The subjects in this study amounted to 75 employees. The sampling technique used the total sampling method, namely all employees. Data analysis using simple linear regression. The results showed that there was a correlation with 0.551 p 0.000, meaning that there was a significant influence between organizational communication and work motivation in employees. The coefficient of determination of the correlation is r2 = 0.304, meaning that organizational communication makes an effective contribution to work motivation by 30.4% while the rest is determined by other influencing factors not examined in this study. Furthermore, judging from the calculation of organizational communication in this study, the hypothetical mean = 70 empirical mean = 96.51 in the high category. Likewise, Work Motivation in this study is also classified as high from the calculation of the hypothetical mean = 90 empirical mean = 122.77.

Abstract

This research aims to present a literature review regarding factors that influence employee work stress. Work stress is the condition of an employee who begins to feel pressure, compulsion, and unease in carrying out his work or in the environment where he works. Cases of work stress have several psychological symptoms that are often found in previous research results, namely intrinsic factors in work, the individual's role in the organization, work relationships, demands from outside work, and personality. The research method uses a systematic literature review. Research data was obtained through internet searches regarding work stress journals with the criteria for articles used, namely those published in the last 5 years, namely from 2019 to 2024. Search for articles via the Researchgate database, Google Scholar, and Google Search with the keywords used: stress, work, and employees. The number of journals analyzed was 13 journals. Data is used to identify and analyze factors that influence employee work stress.  The results of this study conclude that several factors influence work stress, including intrinsic factors in work, the individual's role in the organization, abilities that cannot be used, work relationships, demands from outside work, and personality.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) has drastically transformed the landscape of work, creating uncertainty and psychological pressure for many workers. This article aims to examine how psychological perspectives, particularly positive and organizational psychology, can be employed to respond to AI-driven changes in work roles. This study uses a qualitative literature review approach, drawing on scholarly articles and policy reports from various disciplines and global contexts. Findings indicate that while AI induces anxiety and stress due to new job demands, it also presents opportunities for adaptation if supported by strengthened psychological capital such as optimism and resilience. Additionally, soft skills such as empathy and emotional intelligence remain essential competencies that AI cannot replace. Organizational psychology and public policy play a strategic role in fostering fair and supportive work ecosystems through psychological assessment-based interventions and human-centered work design. This review underscores the importance of integrating psychological approaches in navigating workforce transformations in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Korean Pop (K-Pop) culture on the learning motivation of students at Medan Area University. The focus is on how students’ engagement with K-Pop—through music, idols, and social media—affects their enthusiasm for academic learning. The study applies theories of learning motivation and popular culture engagement. A quantitative approach was used, involving 80 K-Pop fan students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via online questionnaires utilizing the K-Pop Culture Scale and the Learning Motivation Scale, then analyzed using simple linear regression. The findings indicate a significant positive influence of K-Pop culture on learning motivation, with a contribution rate of 99.60%. However, excessive involvement in K-Pop-related activities may negatively impact academic focus. Therefore, students are encouraged to manage their engagement wisely so that popular culture can serve as a constructive source of inspiration in their educational journey.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital, khususnya kecerdasan buatan (AI), telah mengubah cara manusia menjalin komunikasi interpersonal, salah satunya melalui fenomena curhat ke AI seperti ChatGPT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami motivasi individu menggunakan AI sebagai tempat curhat, serta dampak psikologis dan sosial yang ditimbulkan dari interaksi tersebut. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metode studi kepustakaan, analisis difokuskan pada teori Kebutuhan Sosial Maslow dan teori Uses and Gratifications. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi utama individu adalah kebutuhan akan dukungan emosional, perlindungan melalui anonimitas, serta kenyamanan dan aksesibilitas teknologi. Meskipun AI dapat membantu refleksi diri dan mengurangi kecemasan sosial, ketergantungan yang berlebihan berisiko menyebabkan isolasi dan menurunnya kualitas hubungan antarmanusia. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penggunaan AI secara seimbang, serta perlunya pengembangan teknologi yang lebih empatik dan etis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap kajian komunikasi digital dan menawarkan pandangan kritis terhadap hubungan emosional antara manusia dan mesin.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peranan game online Hay Day dalam mengatasi stres akademik mahasiswa. Masalah difokuskan pada bagaimana mahasiswa menggunakan game online Hay Day untuk mengatasi stres, frekuensi penggunaannya, dan persepsi mahasiswa terkait potensi ketergantungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Relaksasi Lazarus dan Folkman (1984). Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara semi-terstruktur pada tiga mahasiswa aktif pengguna game Hay Day. Data dianalisis secara tematik, melalui pengkodean, pengelompokan tema, dan interpretasi mendalam. Validasi dilakukan melalui triangulasi, membandingkan informasi dari responden dan informan tambahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hay Day berfungsi sebagai mekanisme koping yang efektif, membantu mahasiswa mengalihkan perhatian dari tuntutan akademik dan menciptakan rasa kepuasan melalui gameplay yang menenangkan. Meskipun frekuensi dan durasi penggunaan bervariasi, responden mampu mengontrol permainan tanpa mengganggu aktivitas lainnya. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan baru mengenai potensi game online dalam mendukung kesehatan mental mahasiswa, dengan penekanan pada penggunaan yang bijak untuk menghindari risiko ketergantungan. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan karena hanya melibatkan tiga responden.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of single parents in fostering children's independence. Independence is a crucial ability that children must develop to successfully navigate developmental tasks, and it does not emerge naturally but rather through learning processes within the family environment. Single parents, who assume dual roles as caregivers and providers, face unique challenges in raising children to be independent across physical, emotional, social, and cognitive dimensions. This research employs a literature review method, analyzing relevant scholarly sources on parenting styles, child independence, and the dynamics of single-parent households. The findings indicate that the roles of single parents as educators, facilitators, and role models are pivotal in shaping children’s independence, which can be observed through their ability to manage themselves, make decisions, and take responsibility for their actions. This study offers both theoretical and practical contributions to understanding the significance of effective parenting in single-parent families to support holistic child development.
