Abstract

MSMEs can improve the community's economy. MSMEs can create community creativity and create new markets. The problem found in Pagertanjung Village, Ploso District, is that there are still at least MSMEs. The survey results state that some of them have an interest but still have not found the idea and motivation to open a business. There are also those who have no interest in opening a business because their profession is a farmer. Therefore, we provide two solutions. First, provide training by processing natural resources that are easily found in Pagertanjung Village, Ploso, namely bananas. Banana processing training is given once a week with different recipes, namely banana brownies. The benefit of this training is that business actors can create accounts and market their products more broadly. The public can also increase their knowledge. It is hoped that this training can provide ideas and motivation for the community to open a business so that it can improve the economy of Pagertanjung Village, Ploso.

Abstract

Basically, there are many plants that are efficacious and have economic value, one of which is porang.Amorphophallus muelleri Blume is a type of porang that grows in Indonesia and has high economic value because the tubers contain glucomannan. Glucomannan is useful in food, health, cosmetics, and other industries. The benefits of glucomannan in health are lowering cholesterol levels, normalizing triglyceride levels in the blood, controlling blood sugar levels, and improving intestinal performance. The purpose of this activity is the use of porang as a companion plant that is cultivated to increase economic income in Sipahutar I Village, Sipahutar District, North Tapanuli Regency. The stages of the research method are 1) tissue culture techniques to obtain porang seedlings en masse, including making subcultures, maintaining culture results, and observing culture results; 2) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method in the form of outreach and training on porang cultivation, production, maintenance, and marketing (digital marketing).

Abstract

The low interest in reading and writing is a problem that needs to be addressed immediately, considering that reading and writing is an important means to absorb and develop knowledge, so that the Indonesian people become a quality society. The objectives of this Community Service are (1) to actively participate in improving students' competence in literacy at Ma'arif Surabaya Education in accordance with the literacy movement, (2) To increase children's literature mastery at Ma'arif Surabaya Educational Institutions (3 ) Improving students' poetry reading and writing skills (4) Supporting literacy activities of Ma'rif Surabaya Educational Institution students. The solution offered in this PKM is assistance in creative writing in supporting poetry reading and writing literacy activities.Participants consisted of 75 elementary school teachers. The training is carried out face-to-face, followed by online mentoring. The training material presented was poetry.After the poetry writing training is carried out, an evaluation will be held to identify the improvement in abilities and strengths and weaknesses as material for improvement in the next implementation. The results of the training showed that the teacher's poetry writing skills increased from being unable to compose poetry to being able to write. All the teachers who attended the training participated in the activity enthusiastically from start to finish. The material presented can be understood clearly and participants can apply it independently. This training activity has a good impact on improving the ability of teachers in literacy, especially in composing poetry. In the future, the poetry that has been created will be registered with Haki.

Abstract

Health is an important aspect of human life which includes physical and mental health. This is because physical and mental are two aspects that influence each other. In the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic, there are many new things that must be adapted. However, many individuals do not know how to do PHBS, which are basically all public health behaviors that are carried out on personal awareness. The things that are applied to PHBS are based on their scope, for example in the neighborhood, schools, offices, and others.The purpose of writing this article is for PHBS problems, with the Sport Healthy Management program, namely Education on Clean and Healthy Life Behavior Counseling, free examinations for the community, Interactive Dialogue on Clean and Healthy Life Behavior, Learning Practices for Clean and Healthy Life Behavior. The types of training, coaching and mentoring at the nagari that will be provided are in the form of helping to create peace and comfort in the life of a clean living community. The results of the service stated that there had been an increase in knowledge and awareness in the community regarding PHBS.

Abstract

Kampoeng Batara, Papring is a community of forest-side residents who use bamboo as their main economic source of life. Greenhouse technology is expected to help the community in efforts to conserve bamboo forests that have been damaged by natural and human factors. This community service activity is carried out by implementing an automatic control system for the greenhouse watering irrigation system in overcoming environmental climate change. The types of seeds tested were pring pethung, watu, yellow, and pring-ori seeds. The greenhouse design in the form of a dome measuring 4x7 meters is used as a storage room for seeds, several sensors are connected to the acquisition and control system using Arduino-Uno. This system is designed to be able to help residents without a technical background where they can command complete control through temperature and humidity control of greenhouse spaces. The system test results show that the temperature and humidity of the room can be maintained at optimal conditions. The program output has shown the speed of root growth of seedlings within 3 weeks, suppressing stress that risks the death of seedlings. Conservation efforts through greenhouse technology with automatic sprinklers have an impact on supporting bamboo forest conservation efforts for the future of the Kampoeng Batara community.

Abstract

Community service activities were held on October 5 and November 3, 2022 with a total number of 75 participants. 40 students and 35 teachers and trainers. this activity was carried out online via zoom and continued with practice in the field of the Faculty of Sports Science, State University of Malang. The purpose of this service is to improve understanding of the rules and games of the Modern Pentathlon sport so that there will be many new young athletes who will be mentored by Physical Education, Sports and Health teachers. The implementation method is divided into four stages, namely: a) Licensing and Approach to PB Modern Pentathlon b) Making materials, c) Preparation for Implementation: Survey of locations for activities, making media. This media was created as a means of disseminating information through electronic media which contains information about the regulations of Modern pentathlon, preparation of socialization, d) Evaluation of activities. The results of this activity indicate an increase in the understanding of teachers, coaches and students about the rules and games of the Modern Pentathlon sport. This is the first time that Indonesia has participated in the Modern Pentathlon at the 2018 Asian Games. This sport continues to show positive developments by becoming the overall champion at the 2019 Philippine sea games. So that it is necessary to socialize and improve the understanding of sports actors, both teachers, coaches and students.

Abstract

The purpose of the activity is to provide direct understanding to teachers regarding the preparation, implementation and evaluation of traditional games and sports schools as an effort to improve the psychomotor skills of special school students. The method used is mentoring and workshops on traditional games and sports. The results of the mentoring activities for traditional games and sports schools as an effort to improve the psychomotor skills of the Keleyan State Special School students in Bangkalan Regency have the aim of combining traditional games in learning. The benefits of traditional games and sports for SLB students include optimizing physical development, stimulating movement skills and increasing endurance that is useful for life. SLB teachers also need to understand the stages in learning traditional games for SLB students. Conclusion: mentoring schools for traditional games and sports has succeeded in helping special schools have the opportunity to improve their psychomotor and moving body functions for their lives.

Abstract

Today's physical condition literacy is still rarely known by Gen-Z. Many people think that being healthy means being fit. Physical performance is now a necessity that cannot be separated from daily activities. Preparation to achieve prime physical condition is not achieved in a short time. Many methods are used to achieve excellent physical quality. Start with good physical exercise, meet balanced nutritional needs, stress management, and adequate hydration. There are many training methods to improve physical condition, one of which is the circuit training method. Circuit training can be done alone or in groups. There are many benefits to be gained if this circuit training exercise is carried out in groups, one of which is being able to increase the enthusiasm of students to carry out and complete the posts provided by the team coach. There are many phenomena that occur due to a lack of understanding of literacy about Circuit training exercises for science society tutoring students. So it is necessary to carry out assistance by carrying out community service whose aim is to provide literacy education for Circuit training exercises. Methods and forms of community service implementation using a participatory approach. The result of this assistance is the increasing understanding of the physical literacy of circuit training participants

Abstract

The study program has created a template for a thesis preparation to facilitate and assist students in compiling their thesis. The problem is that the study program still encounters numerous proposal and thesis documents that do not match the template distributed. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training for students in compiling their thesis following the template. The methods used to carry out this training were lectures, exercises, mentoring, simulations, and evaluations. The material provided included the preparation of a thesis following the physical education study program template, tips on finding credible references for the final project, and technically making citations and compiling the APA model reference by involving 52 students who are preparing their final project, both proposals and theses (only 25 participants whose thesis documents were evaluated). The result showed that students' knowledge and skills in compiling their thesis following the template was improved. Although successful in giving an impact, study programs, course lecturers, supervisors, and examiners need to simultaneously pay attention to the thesis writing as the final project following the template in order to accelerate students to complete their studies.

Abstract

Community Service entitled Destination Management Organization – Destination Governance (DMO-DG): Assistance in Papringan Tourism Village, Kaliwangi Village, Purwojati, Banyumas, aims to internalize the Tourism Awareness Movement (GSW) and Sapta Pesona in Papringan Tourism Village, Kaliwangi Village, Purwojati, Banyumas, Competence of tourism actors in managing Papringan Tourism Village, Kaliwangi Village, Purwojati, Banyumas can increase, Communities around tourist villages can be empowered, and the Tridharma of Higher Education can be realized through community service that focuses on Tourism Villages. There is great hope from the team for this service to achieve targets, including Increasing the Quality of Governance with the Destination Management Organization Model - Destination Governance (DMO-DG) in Papringan Tourism Village, Kaliwangi Village, Purwojati, Banyumas. The program is expected to benefit Institutional, Work Program, and Work Outcomes. Tourism Awareness Group has an integrated Tourism Village Management SOP. Papringan Tourism Village has excellent tour packages through tourism business training, tourism attractions, scouting, Outbound, and Edu tours so that it can sell 1000 packages tours in the long term. Through community empowerment with Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), the goals and targets can be achieved through this community empowerment program.
