Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of the application of drill methods with MASTER techniques in the study of Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 1 Genteng in the 2016/2017 school year. Based on the observations found that the learning conditions are not conducive because of the application of improper methods. This research is quantitative research. The type of research used in this study is experimental research. The research was conducted in two cycles with two meetings by applying drill methods using MASTER techniques. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data analysis used is independent T-test. Based on the discussion about the effectiveness of drill methods with MASTER techniques in PAI learning, it was concluded that the application of drill methods with MASTER techniques can make students motivated, happy, active, and able to improve the effectiveness of learners' learning during the learning process. From the calculation using the t-test test, it is known that ttes = 3,287 ? t5% = 0.16435 means that the nil hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, thus it can be concluded that the effectiveness of drill learning methods with MASTER techniques has effective results on PAI subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to describe the product definition of Laci Hitung media in elementary school grade II multiplication material; 2) designing a Laci Hitung media product design on the multiplication material developed in grade II of Elementary School; 3) produce Laci Hitung media products on the multiplication material developed in the learning of grade II elementary school students as well as the advantages and disadvantages of products that have been developed. Development research models use 4D models that are modified to 3D (Define, design, development,) This model was chosen because it is adaptive, systematic and in accordance with this development research. The development results are in the form of counting drawer media consisting of drawers that are given numbers and funnels to put marbles into the drawer. The advantages of this media include making it easier for students to learn multiplication, it can be used for all number operations and makes it easier for teachers to convey material about multiplication. While the disadvantage is that it cannot be used for hundreds and thousands number operations.

There are some impacts felt by students when teachers are not present in the class, students are harmed and disappointed, this can decrease their interest and motivation to learn. In addition, this affects the discipline of students. The research method used is a theoretical study taken from the opinion of education experts. From this opinion is then analyzed in depth. Absence is also because it is lazy to teach, it can also be a seed of inconsistency for teachers who are usually diligent. Researchers try to find a solution to the problem (problem solving), that madrasah must dare to act so that madrasah is really effective. for example, rewarding teachers who are active and punishment for teachers who rarely attend the classroom, because of some problems in other institutions there is a positive influence on the presence of teachers when there is the application of rewards and punishment to the discipline of teachers who are present in the classroom in teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah as one of the Indonesian Islamic community organizations has evolved into an organization for the Indonesian education movement. This can be seen from the number of educational establishments that include the word Muhammadiyah in the name of the institution. Almost all over Indonesia there are Muhammadiyah schools. This social phenomenon raises several questions. Why are Muhammadiyah schools spread throughout Indonesia? What is the purpose of Muhammadiyah in building these schools?. This question is the problem formulation of this research. The purpose of this study is to determine the aims and objectives of the Muhammadiyah organization to become the pioneer of the Indonesian education movement during the colonial period to the reformation period. The method we use in this research is the historical method which includes the study of literature, records the actual data on the number of Muhammadiyah and non-Muhammadiyah schools, and compares and analyzes the data as the results and conclusions of this study. The conclusion obtained from this research is that Muhammadiyah has played an active role in educating the nation's life as the goal of the Indonesian nation, both during the colonial and post-proclamation periods with all of his policies. Muhammadiyah has become the motor for updating Indonesian education as an expression of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan towards the education sector during the colonial period. Muhammadiyah wants to provide a new perspective that education is holistic integrative, not in a partial dichotomous area, which can contribute to the development and progress of the nation.

Abstract

Human life is very rich in emotional experiences. It's just that there are very strong impulses, some are very faint so that his expression was not visible. Emotional expressions we will recognize at every age level from babies to adults, both boys or women. For example, a child laughs with joy when his father bounces his body in the air or we see a child a one year old crying because his toy was taken by her brother. For a child, this emotional state is easier to express through his physical condition. For example a child will go straight cry when he feels sick or uncomfortable. However, if a child is asked “how he feels” or “why he is feel sick? ”, the child will find it difficult to express his feelings in verbal language. According to Plato, potentially (fitrah) humans are born as social creatures (zoon politicon). Syamsuddin reveals that "socialization is a learning process to become social beings", whereas according to Loree "socialization is a process in where individuals (especially) children train their own sensitivity to social stimuli, especially pressures and demands life (the group) and learn to get along with behaving, like other people in their social environment. Muhibin says that social development is the process of forming social self (personal in society), namely personal in family, culture, nation, and so on. As for Hurlock argues that social development is an acquisition ability to behave in accordance with social demands. "Socialization is the ability to behave in accordance with norms, values ??or expectations social".

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of learning English subjects students are still low. Low learning outcomes are indicated by the grades of students under the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). The learning outcomes under the KKM certainly resulted in learning indicators also not being achieved. Learning English using audio visual media is one of the learning strategies that use a medium that can be captured by the sense of vision and can also be captured by the listener's senses. This media directs students to receive learning materials not only from one sense, because the more senses used, the more effective and efficient the learning will be so that the material can be understood by students. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of audio visual media on the results of learning English. The type of research used is quantitative research with quasy experiment pattern with one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection instruments used are written tests and verbal tests to determine students' learning outcomes using audio visual media during learning. Before being used in research, this instrument was first tested for validity and reliability. Once declared valid and reliable, new instruments can be used for research. Samples in this study as many as 15 students who took it using saturated sampling techniques. This technique uses the entire population as a sample. The data analysis technique used in this study is t. Before being calculated using the t test, the data of the research results were tested prerequisites i.e. normality test and homogeneity test. Based on the calculation result, the significance data is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05 or 0.000<0.05. T test result also shows that the t count result is -15,591and the table t is 1.77093 with the correlation index is 0.100 or t count>t table. Thus, it can be interpreted that the calculation results indicate "there is an influence on the use of audio visual media on the results of learning English" is accepted. So Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.
