Abstract

The creative economy is an economic sector that results from the development of creativity and ideas. Young entrepreneurs contribute to the improvement of the creative economy sector because they are considered easier to adapt technology, respond to market changes, and think creatively and innovatively. This study aims to evaluate the efficiency of the creative economy sector in entrepreneur students of the College of Economics (STIE). This study used the primary data of 50 entrepreneur students. The research was conducted using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method by analyzing the input to the output factors. The results showed that 7 out of 50 businesses run by STIE students reached 100% efficiency in January and February. Meanwhile, in March there were 9 businesses that achieved 100% efficiency. As many as 41 businesses have never reached 100% efficiency during January to March 2020. Efficiency improvements for inefficient businesses are carried out by referring to businesses that have been efficient by reducing production costs which include reducing the total cost of labor or raw materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study, analyze and study the competencies and performance of the board, and improve competency towards the board's performance. Research on 109 administrators of the Credit Union (CU) in the Highlands Region under the PUSKOPDIT Bekatigade. Data were analyzed with qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study were obtained from competence and good performance, and were positive results of competence on the management's performance. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan mengkaji secara mendalam tentang kompetensi dan kinerja pengurus, dan besarnya pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja pengurus. Penelitian pada 109 pengurus Credit Union (CU) Wilayah Dataran Tinggi di Bawah Naungan Pusat Koperasi Kredit (PUSKOPDIT) Bekatigade Sumatera Utara. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptip kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kompetensi dan kinerja sudah baik, dan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dari kompetensi terhadap kinerja pengurus.

Abstract

Competition between banks requires banks to maximize the performance of their employees. This study explores the effects of allowances, incentives, and discipline as determinants of performance. Data collection uses primary data obtained through questionnaires. A total of 39 employees of PT. Bank BRI (Persero), Tbk Sungguminasa Branch was used as the sample. Multiple regression analysis through SPSS 25.0 software was used to analyze the data. The empirical results show that the low allowances given in its implementation can improve employee performance. Another causality is proven if high incentives are given to employees and high discipline is proven to improve employee performance

Abstract

In general, business incubators are created to provide space and facilities, especially for new entrepreneurs pioneering or running a business. Its existence was first initiated by universities so that it is expected to be able to build a sustainable and beneficial business ecosystem for end-users as business stakeholders. During this time the practice of incubators business is carried out in the form of programs or projects for a certain period from the beginning of the registration selection until participants reach the level of business creation, namely by students. While this research was conducted to explore how the implementation of business incubator programs that occur in high schools, even though the type of business incubator is a micro-level business incubator or can be called a business incubator simulation practice. The study was conducted at one of the Private High Schools in Indonesia. By using a qualitative descriptive analysis approach through data collection and interviews with teachers and students, especially for those who are involved in extra activities outside school hours "Entrepreneurship Passion". The results of the study illustrate that the implementation of micro-business incubator practices in schools still shows suboptimal results, which are only able to increase student entrepreneurial interest and have not been able to print a sustainable entrepreneur, so it requires the development of certain curricula that are capable of printing millennial entrepreneurs. The research findings indicate a weakness in the method of implementing the "Entrepreneurship Passion" activity as a means to foster student entrepreneurship seeds at school.

Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan logistik dalam negeri terutama di Kota Malang, kinerja perusahaan logistik menjadi penting, terutama PT. JNE Cabang Kota Malang. Sebagai perusahaan jasa, maka pelayanan terbaik terhadap konsumen menjadi kunci kinerja karyawan yang juga bagian dari kinerja perusahaan. Kinerja karyawan dapat ditingkatkan melalui kompensasi dan motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel proporsional di seluruh divisi perusahaan dengan total sebanyak 81 karyawan yang diuji menggunakan teknik analisa regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kompensasi dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Abstrak This study aims to conduct a test where organizational commitment mediates the influence of organizational culture and organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) studies on employees of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TELKOM) in the city of Padang, so that it can help PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TELKOM) in Padang City to address OCB issues and organizational commitment. The sampling technique was carried out by saturated sampling which made the entire population as a sample obtained as many as 70 employees. The data analysis used in this study is Smart PLS 3.3 which is useful for finding the influence between variables with mediation. The results of this study are organizational culture, organizational justice and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Abstract

Abstract Treatment Eternal.Lab is a business engaged in the services of washing shoes, bags, hats and helmets. There are several things that must be improved by eternal.lab treatment in order to survive and compete in the future. Decision making in determining the right location will have an impact on the development of the business in the future, then, there needs to be a strategy in determining the location of the business. Taking into account the segments and costs in determining the location will be able to deny profits to thebusiness. Analytical hierarchy process becomes the preferred method to see the location of the business where itis prioritized based on the criteria that influence in determining the location of the business on the treatment services Eternal.Lab. The author uses the expert choice tool to find out the value of each criterion and sub-criteria against alternative locations that have previously been selected. Obtained 4 (four) criteria that become determinants in determining the location of the business, namely facilities, rental costs, market environment, and physical condition of the location. Based on the results of the tests conducted, obtained alternative locations that are prioritized is the Queen's labuhan with an assessment weight (0.406). Terdapat beberapa hal yang harus dibenahi oleh treatment Eternal.Lab agar dapat bertahan dan bersaing kedepannya. Pengambilan keputusan dalam menentukan lokasi yang tepat akan berdampak pada perkembangan usaha tersebut kedepannya maka, perlu adanya strategi dalam menentukan lokasi usaha. Dengan mempertimbangkan segmen dan biaya dalam menentukan lokasi akan dapat meningkarkan keuntungan pada usaha. Analytical hierarchy process menjadi metode yang dipilih untuk melihat lokasi usaha dimana yang lebih di prioritaskan berdasarkan kriteria yang berpengaruh dalam menentukan lokasi usaha pada jasa treatment Eternal.Lab. Penulis menggunakan alat expert choice untuk mengetahui nilai setiap kriteria dan sub-kriteria terhadap alternatif lokasi yang sebelumnya sudah dipilih. Diperoleh 4 (empat) kriteria yang menjadi penentu dalam menentukan lokasi usaha yaitu fasilitas, biaya sewa, lingkungan pasar, dan kondisi fisik lokasi. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian yang dilakukan maka diperoleh alternatif lokasi yang lebih di prioritaskan adalah labuhan Ratu dengan bobot penilaian (0,406). Abstract

Sembako (nine staple foods) is basic needs that must be fulfilled in order to maintain the food security and nutritional needs of the community. Therefore, sembako traders have an important role in how sembako items are properly distributed to the community. In achieving this goal, it is suggested that the traders operate based on an ethical business framework. Islam through the Qur'an and hadith has provided this framework in the form of Islamic business ethics principles. By using a qualitative descriptive analytical approach, this study aims to understand how the application of Islamic business ethics in the business activities of basic food traders in Jumbleng Village. The data in this study were collected through a process of observation and interviews. While the data analysis technique uses the analytical technique developed by Miles, Huberman, & Saldana with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research obtained from traders and buyers in Jumbleng Village, it shows that the principles of Islamic business ethics have not been fully implemented by traders due to their limited knowledge regarding Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

Ineffectiveness in the recruitment and selection process can be detrimental to the company. Companies need to minimize the inefeectiveness that occurs in the recruitment and selection process. Meanwhile, the literature that provides empirical evidence on factors of recruitment ineffectiveness and its resolution is very diverse and not comprehensive. This study aims to provide a comprehensive picture of potential ineffectiveness in the recruitment and selection process for employess in Indonesia. A systematic study of literature is used in this study. The sample was obtained from 17 national journals that have been published and have been accredited and have an ISSN during the period 2006 to 2021 regarding recruitment and selection. There are 18 articles relevant to the research. This study groups articles covering topics, research methods and research sectors. The results of this study indicate that the most widely studied research topics come from the dependent variable, namely Civil Servants and employee performance, while the research method used is mostly qualitative methods, as well as the most studied sector, namely the public sector and various forms of process ineffectiveness.

Abstract

Exploration of the antecedents of performance with the support of good leadership and compensation as well as the support of high work motivation is the purpose of this study. The quantitative paradigm is an approach in this study that seeks to explore the triggers for high performance, the population in this study is the entire employee at Pt Bank Sulselbar in Makassar as many as 256 people, the sampling technique uses a simple random sampling method with a total sample of 156 people. The analysis used in testing the hypothesis is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of WarpPLS Software version, 6.0. The results of this analysis show that there is a direct relationship between leadership constructs that have an influence on performance, compensation also has a direct influence on performance and motivation has a direct influence on performance variables, leadership directly has a direct relationship to performance and compensation also has a positive effect on motivation, Leadership indirectly affects performance through motivation as a mediator, motivation cannot mediate between the relationship between leadership and performance.
