Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to improve the skills of PKK Posyandu Cempaka I cadres in Dusun Cidolog, Gunungcupu Village, Sindangkasih District, Ciamis Regency, particularly in preparing monthly reports, including correspondence, financial, and other administrative reports submitted to the Gunungcupu Village PKK Team. In practice, discrepancies often occur between manual and digital data. Therefore, basic administrative training was conducted for the Cempaka I cadres to minimize data inconsistencies through organized record management using a one-day hands-on practice method. The training focused on mastering basic manual administration by inputting all data based on alphabetical order of infants, toddlers, and elderly individuals. This activity consisted of several stages: the preparation stage (coordination with the Cempaka I cadre team), the training stage (delivery of administrative materials), and the evaluation stage (direct report-making practice). The results showed that all participants were able to understand and apply the materials in preparing monthly reports and managing Posyandu Cempaka I administrative records properly, neatly, and accountably. It is expected that this activity will serve as motivation for Posyandu cadres to continuously enhance their capacity and professionalism as high-quality community health volunteers.

Abstract

Community service activities through the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program in Cikeusal Village, Tanjungjaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency, were carried out to strengthen the local economy and preserve traditional culture as a social identity of the community. A participatory approach was used through observation, interviews, training, and collaboration between students, village officials, MSMEs, and arts groups. The empowerment program focused on strengthening MSMEs based on local products such as palm sugar and noga through digital marketing training, packaging innovation, and simple financial literacy. Meanwhile, the cultural aspect was directed at documenting and revitalizing the traditional art of Terebang Gébés which has high religious and social values. The results of the activities showed an increase in knowledge of MSMEs in business promotion and management, as well as increased participation of the younger generation in traditional arts activities. This cross- sector collaboration demonstrates that the synergy of community service can encourage the strengthening of the creative economy while maintaining the sustainability of local cultural heritage as part of sustainable village development.

Abstract

Degenerative diseases such as gout and high cholesterol are quite prevalent in Indonesia, where modernization has led to changes in epidemiology and an increase in these cases, including in rural areas like Tenjonagara Village. Villagers often complain of these conditions, which are associated with changes in diets rich in purines and fats and decreased physical activity. The goal of this community service program is to improve the understanding and skills of the Tenjonagara Village community through the processing of traditional herbal medicine (jamu) as an effort to reduce the risk of degenerative diseases and create economic independence. Implementation activities include a diffusion of science and technology approach, interviews, counseling, socialization on the cultivation of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA), and practical training on making herbal medicine to treat gout and cholesterol, involving women from the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) cadres. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and skills in processing TOGA into herbal drinks. The community became more active in growing medicinal plants and reported a reduction in disease symptoms. Furthermore, there was a community desire to support the economic potential of the resulting herbal products.

Abstract

The transition to a low-carbon energy system in Indonesia requires the integration of policies, appropriate conversion technologies, and sustainable financing mechanisms. Municipal solid waste is a strategic bioenergy resource due to its high volume and significant organic content, but the implementation of Waste-to-Energy projects is hampered by a lack of synergy linking policy, technology, and investment aspects. This study aims to formulate a tri-pillar synergy framework between national energy policy, Waste-to-Energy technology suitability, and Sustainable Investment principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance) to overcome these obstacles and accelerate the development of waste-based bioenergy. This study uses a conceptual approach through a comprehensive literature synthesis related to energy regulations, waste management policies, and empirical studies of Waste-to-Energy. The resulting synergy framework identifies that project success is highly dependent on tying price guarantees through policies with social acceptance and risk mitigation through Sustainable Investment principles, which then validates the selection of technologies that are appropriate to the characteristics of local waste in Indonesia. This framework provides a practical contribution in the form of a roadmap for stakeholders in realizing projects that are financially viable, environmentally sustainable, and socially acceptable, while supporting the achievement of renewable energy targets and Sustainable Development Goals in Indonesia.

Abstract

Empowering the economic community of Suka Makmur Village, Bone Bolang District, is a strategic step in supporting local independence and achieving sustainable development. One potential natural resource with high economic value that has not been optimized is palm sap. The palm sugar artisan community has so far focused on traditional palm sugar production, which, although a local characteristic, has not provided significant added value. Given this situation, this community service activity was carried out to introduce and socialize the concept of palm sap-based product diversification, emphasizing the potential for developing liquid palm sugar and palm syrup as innovations that are more adaptive to modern market needs. The implementation method was carried out in a participatory manner through socialization and counseling, accompanied by group discussions to explore opportunities, challenges, and market potential for palm sap derivative products. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding of product diversification, awareness of the importance of hygienic processing, and a collaborative spirit to continue innovation at the village level. This activity not only provided new insights to the community but also generated initial data on the palm sap value chain and production capacity that can be used as a basis for developing further programs. Thus, this program plays a role in strengthening sustainable local agribusiness systems through community empowerment based on local natural resource potential.
