Abstract

The development of Denpasar City as the Capital of the Province of Bali and at the same time as the Center for Bali Growth, resulted the growth and development of the city become very rapid. Although the Denpasar City Government has tried to direct and organize the environment through spatial planning, however the direction of development and the growth of buildings has not been directed yet and is developing very sporadically towards all parts of the city. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with a rationalistic approach based on reality in the field with primary data obtained from observations, documentation in the form of images of community behavior towards public spaces in city housing. The results showed that the use of public space as a private area in the housing environment is dominated by factors due to the limited land of the house to the needs of home owners such as having vehicle that exceeds the garage capacity of the house.

Abstract

The Industrial Phenomenon 4.0 has transformed the way humans work into automation / digitization through innovations. Industry 4.0 says the era of technology disruption because of automation and connectivity in a field will make the movement of the industrial world and work competition to be non-linear. Industry players can’t be separated from the internet. All objects are equipped with sensor-assisted technology devices and are able to communicate themselves with information technology systems. This phenomenon then raises the concern that in the era of disruption of human role as the driving force of an industry will be shifted by the presence of smart robots. Humans are no longer dependent on other humans or natural resources, but depend on artificial intelligence products. Based on this, the authors make a qualitative descriptive study that raises the phenomenon of industry in Indonesia, the extent to which 4.0 industry is already known by the people of Indonesia, as well as what opportunities can be utilized by industry players to face the era of digitalization industry. In this study it can be seen that the era of industry 4.0 can be seen as a big enough opportunity for the development of industrial world, because it created equal opportunity for industry players in creating an innovation and at the same time marketing a product. Capital and power are no longer a major obstacle, because innovation and creativity in utilizing digital media is the key to success of every industry player in the industrial disruption era 4.0.

Abstract

This research has been done in the larvae fish pond in Lumbung Village, Tabanan regency. Surya cell is device consists of solar cell, charge controller, and batterei that change sunlight to be electric. Fish like many living organisms have specific tolerant range of various environmental parameters, thus fish larvae ponds of specific types of fish species requires certain conditions that have to be reached. Larvae that have hatched, should be raised in a special place, when their ages are 5-7 days. And it becomes threat if in interval 3 – 4 weeks happen cold weather that make the larvae will be died. To avoid the cold weather occurs, warming can be done with heater or halogen lamps. Solar Energy is produced by the Sunlight is a non-vanishing renewable source of energy which is free from ecofriendly. The highest intensity of sunlight occurs at 11.00-14.00 with the value of the intensity of sunlight is around 96.000 - 112.500 lumen and average power about 24 – 28 W. Monitoring and taking actions to maintain the habitat’s sustainable environment for certain larvae inside of fish larvae ponds. Halogen lamps give the warmth to the water with the intensity of the light in cash, so that the water temperature is located between 27 – 30 oC at the night.

Abstract

For a house that is in a tourism location, the house not only functions as a residence, but also has a high economic value, which can be rented and combined with other businesses so as to maximize profits. Nevertheless, the customs and traditions of Balinese Culture and local wisdom must still be preserved. Sanur Village is one of the tourist destinations in Bali which is very well known to foreign countries with its traditions and natural beauty. Sanur is a tourist area where most of the local people become tourism operators. The houses where people live are traditional and religious places of activity, as well as being a place of business in tourism or supporting tourism facilities. For example, it is used for homestays including supporting facilities, such as restaurants, spas, loundries, bicycles or motorbike rental, and also cooperation as promotion agents for other tourist attractions. For this reason, a planned arrangement is needed in the form of a master plan from the area of the resident's house so that it remains private to be occupied with the family, that is, as a place to live as well as a place to perform traditional ceremonies /events, and also to have privacy for guests who stay overnight. Sanur Homestay is one of the many homestays in Sanur that is owned and managed by the local community. With a fairly large area of land like most house land in the village, the arrangement of the building is still not optimal, where the owner's activity and circulation still mingle with the guests' activities and circulation. Likewise for the standard of accommodation facilities it still needs to be added to maximize services. Planning is done by collecting site and existing buildings data, then grouping which buildings are permanent and which ones are suitable for renovation. Then designed new facilities in the form of buildings for homestays, restaurants, spas, front offices, service areas, and site management in the form of swimming pools and open spaces. The design is carried out with the concept of applying the principles of Traditional Balinese Architecture, namely the application of the Nawa Sanga concept on site zoning and the application of the Tri Angga concept to the appearance figure of the building, which is combined with Modern Tropical Architecture.

Abstract

Kuta Selatan subdistrict is one of the tourism hotspots in Bali, as shown by the rates of development in the economic sector, especially in the tourism industry. The numbers of accommodations in Kuta Selatan, from 2018 data, are 329 non-star hotel, 33 five star hotels, 12 four star hotels, 12 three star hotels, 12 four star hotels and approximately 150 private villas (BPS,2019). Daily operation of hotels produces hazardous waste such as electronic waste, LED light, oil and chemical containers. Electronic waste is content with heavy metal such as mercury, lead, lithium and cadmium. Hazardous wastes that are released into the environment without any treatment can be harmful for public health. The purpose of this research is to know how far tourism industries, especially hotels and private villas, have implemented the requirements for hazardous waste management. Hazardous waste management consists of permits, container, storage, collection and treatment. Permits and temporary hazardous waste storage are mandatory requirements for hotels to have as a first step of the whole process of hazardous waste management. Based on the data collection from 150 samples, we are shown that 70% of hotels with a capacity of 300-400 rooms already have hazardous waste temporary storage as well as the permit. With smaller scale hotels, only 50% already have hazardous waste temporary storage, as well as the permit. In contrast, in small scale accommodation, such as hotels with a capacity under 100 rooms, and private villas, only 4 % have proper hazardous waste temporary storage.

Abstract

Teknik klasifikasi supervised terbagi menjadi 9 klas yaitu danau, lahan kosong, hutan, pemukiman, semak belukar, sawah irigasi, sawah tadah hujan, tegalan, dan perkebunan.

Abstract

A significant increase in population in Indonesia demands the availability of housing as a basic necessity of the community. The limited land area, especially in Bali, has resulted in very high land prices. Flats as one of the efforts of the government and the private sector are considered as one way to overcome these problems. But unfortunately, the existence of flats which on the one hand overcomes the housing problem, on the other hand, raises a new problem, namely the slum impression of flats caused by flats fail to accommodate the basic activities of residents of flats. One such activity is the activity of laundry. In this study, the Kreneng and Sesetan Police Dormitory Flats were used as research objects. By linking the problem with several theories regarding flats, this article is expected to be able to provide an alternative solution to existing problems. With the fulfilment of the housing needs of the community and still being able to maintain the facade of the building, it is expected that the impression of dirty and slum flats can be overcome. The use of surrounding materials will be able to show a tropical impression and add values to the aesthetics of the building.

Abstract

Transformation is something that cannot be avoided by everyone. Like wise with the change of a region as a phenomenon that can not be avoided by any country in the world. Many researchers who try to review more about the phenomenon of change as a form of adaptation or adjustment to the new environment. However, in developing an area many factors must be considered. When a previous area has a high historical value, the change becomes a technical matter that requires a thorough study. Like this study by Gergely Horryn et al (2017). In this study, Gergely Horryn et al tried to make an alternative hostels design for the development of the Budapest, Hungary region. Given the high historical value of this city, the authors use the method of comparing literature with design feedback from field observations. The design changes were made based on consideration of the historical value of the city, the interior of the room, and the shape of the building to be displayed. From several fedbcak designs, a conclusion about the design of hostels cube are then termed Hc.

Abstract

DKI Jakarta is the capital of the country which is an example for cities in big cities in Indonesia. Various factors in accordance with the Law No.26 of 2007 Article 3 governance to implement the national territory that is safe, comfortable, productive and sustainable. The research method used for AHP (Analytic Hirarchy Process) process with Expert Choice and AHP (Analitic Hirarchy Process) with CDP (Criterium Decision Plus). In this study, AHPIC to determine the value of each factor affecting the spatial DKI Jakarta with modeling structure. The criteria are determined by three aspects, ecological aspects and social aspects. While the subcriteria can be seen in each criterion. There are three alternatives, namely MRT (Mass Rapid Transit), flood handling with BKB (West Canal Flood) and BKT (East Canal Flood), and Eco-city. In line with AHP, look for influencing aspects in spatial planning, namely the ecological aspect of 0.540. This is the most important aspect to realize a sustainable spatial, followed by economic aspects with quality improvement for aspects. Arranging good governance in this case good governance is also needed for the creation of progress and welfare of society.
