Abstract

The rapid development of the digital economy in Indonesia has had a positive impact on the national economy, one of which is the growth of various online trading platforms or e-commerce. This study aims to determine the effect of e-service quality on e-customers loyalty through e-customers satisfaction as an intervening variable. The method used in this research is quantitative with descriptive and causal research and SEM-PLS analysis method. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique, using the slovin formula with a sample of 100 respondents who have used the Shopee e-commerce application in Batam City. The results of the influence test using the structural model show that e-service quality has a positive but not significant effect on e-customers loyalty, then e-service quality has a positive and significant effect on e-customers satisfaction, then e-customers satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on e-customers customer loyalty. Tests using the intervening variable show that e-customers satisfaction mediates the effect of e-service quality on e-customers loyalty. This illustrates that the ups and downs of e-customers loyalty for the Shopee e-commerce application are determined by e-customers satisfaction, and the fluctuations in e-customers satisfaction for the Shopee e-commerce application are determined by several factors, including e-service quality.

Abstract

Witness protection policies in corruption cases need to be optimized because they can be an alternative legal instrument in efforts to eradicate corruption. This shows that the protection of witnesses and victims is an important and urgent legal aspect; this is because the criminal law policy in the process of eradicating corruption places more emphasis on the perpetrators and pays less attention to the witnesses involved in legal investigations. It is necessary to optimize the role of LPSK in criminal law policies, including in providing protection for witnesses in cases of eradicating corruption, all elements of society hope that it will not become an unresolved problem. So far, criminal law policies in efforts to eradicate corruption have placed more emphasis on the perpetrators. Therefore, it is important to carry out legal reforms to the witness protection law in the process of eradicating corruption. Abstract

As many as 27.6% of the 370 MSMEs that showed an increase in sales during the COVID-19 pandemic were those who were able to implement digitalization. Online shopping is now the leading choice and the number has been increasing by around 30% in Indonesia. One of the shops that experienced an increase in sales during the pandemic is Company X, engaged in the beauty industry. Running this shop for more than four years, Company X's finance division only consists of the owner who has a medical background. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to help the company improve risk mitigation, internal control, and the performance of its revenue cycle. The approach uses a case study method, analyzed by collecting data through semi-structured interviews about the revenue cycle and then evaluated based on 17 COSO 2013 principles. The results of this study indicate that the company has carried out control efforts informally, but it is not adequate because it is not in accordance with COSO 2013 and SAK EMKM. Company X must establish written and formal documents related to SOPs, risk management, evidence of the results of actions, and conduct customer satisfaction surveys.

Abstract

The Substitute Notary has the same authority and responsibility as the Notary being replaced. And the responsibility of the Substitute Notary remains attached even though his position has ended. Even though they have responsibilities like a notary, there are differences in terms of legal protection between Notary and Substitute Notary. This type of research is normative legal research with a state approach and a case approach. The results of this study indicate that the provisions in Article 66 Notary Position Act only provide legal protection for Notaries but do not include Substitute Notaries. Legal Protection for Substitute Notaries can be done through preventive legal protection carried out by the Substitute Notary Public himself by carrying out his/her position carefully, thoroughly and based on the Notary Position Act, code of ethics and other statutory regulations. In addition, legal protection for Substitute Notaries related to summons for the benefit of the judiciary still follows general provisions, namely through the obligation to deny and the right to deny.

Abstract

The number of single candididates against the empty box in every regional head election continues to increase, as a result of the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 100/PUU-XIII/2015. After this decision, it is as if the regional elections were held democratically. This process tends to be form of killing the democratic process, because it runs unfairly and equally. Likewise, political parties are considered to have failed in preparing a leader every five years. Although a single candidate is legally valid, and is regulated in Law No. 10 of 2016. However, political parties as entry points to democracy must maintain an equal and fair democratic process, not the political oligarchy that controls the party. This study aims to look at the role of a political actor in preparing local leader candidates and the factor of the occurrence of a single cindadate against the empty box. The method used is descriptive qualitative to describe social events that exist in society. The results of this research show that the role of a political actor is very important and powerful in Regional Head Elections in Indonesia.
