Abstract

To embody the ease of doing business, the government introduced a new entity, namely a single-member company, by adhering to a one-tier system but not in line with the organs regulated in Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. The objective of the research is to examine the one-tier system in single-member companies in Indonesia. This research is normative-descriptive juridical research through literature study and aims to analyze the juridical implications of the one-tier system in the organs of single-member companies after the enactment of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there are differences in the terms used in the designation of single-member company organs, and there may be concurrent positions in single-member companies, this has implications for the absence of the checks and balances principle in a company and concurrent positions in a company have the potential to cause a conflict of interest where every management action that contains a conflict of interest is categorized as an act of bad faith. Because such actions are considered as a breach of fiduciary duty and the obligation to obey the laws and regulations.

By addressing deficiencies and bolstering strengths in detail, the fundamental weaknesses are the absence of a tourism information center, the absence of branding or a brand name, the absence of business investors, the absence of promotions for adequate lodging, and the presence of a lot of road access that has not been optimized for cross-road or infrastructure that has not been fully exploited.

Abstract

The government has set a target of reducing stunting in 2024 to 14%. On August 9, 2017 at a follow-up Ministerial Meeting, the Vice President decided on the Five Pillars of Stunting Prevention by implementing convergence (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2021). This study aims to determine the role of the Muaro Jambi District Health Office in preventing stunting. The method in this research is qualitative, by conducting in-depth interviews with informants (Indeph interviews). The informants in this study were the head of the health office, the secretary of the district health office and the head of family health at the muaro jambi district health office as well as several heads of public health centers and the person in charge of the stunting program at the health center in the muaro jambi district. The conclusion of this study is that the role of the Health Office greatly influences the achievement of stunting reduction activities because the health department is the OPD that directly implements the recovery program (Sensitive Nutrition and Specific Nutrition) through the puskesmas. For the implementation of stunting reduction and prevention, it is necessary to plan activities to be carried out so that it requires funding that is supported by the local government. This stunting prevention activity is carried out continuously, not only when the stunting locus occurs, but on an ongoing basis so that the role of the health department in monitoring the results of activities carried out by the puskesmas continues to be carried out. The health department's programs in the context of prevention can continue to be implemented, such as giving PMT to infants and toddlers as well as pregnant women.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' mathematical connection abilities in the application of problem-based learning models and to determine the effect of student learning using problem-based learning models at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara. The research method used is quasi-experimental research, The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara for the Academic Year 2021/2022 as many as 288 people, then from 8 classes, two classes were selected as samples, namely class VIII-2 which consisted of 36 students who were taught by problem-based learning model, class VIII-5 consisted of 36 students who were taught by conventional learning model. The analytical technique used is descriptive analysis to describe student activities, teacher's ability to manage learning, and student response processes. The results of the analysis of the Gain data for the problem-based learning model class with the conventional model class using the t-test obtained the value of tcount= 8,54 from the distribution list t for  = 0,05, and dk = n1 – n2 – 2 or dk = 70 obtained ttable= 1,959. By comparing between ttable and tcount obtained tcount > ttable then Ha is accepted. Thus, the results of this study can be stated that there is an effect of problem-based learning models on increasing students' mathematical connection abilities.
