Abstract

This research is titled Tastafi communication strategy in the development of Madani community. The focus of the problem in this study is, how to plan, and implement Tastafi communication strategies in the development of civil society. The approach uses in this study is a qualitative approach, with reasons to understand the problem in its natural setting, and interpret this phenomenon based on the meaning given by the informant, also because this research is multidimensional in nature resulting from the complexity of various situations, so the context surrounding it needs to be analyzed . The informants of this study are determined by purposive technique which was explored based on the purpose of this study, with 8 (eight) informants. Based on the data obtained, the results of this study are: first, Tastafi communication planning in the overall development of civil society through six stages, namely; (a) Identifying the vision and mission of Tastafi; (b) Seeing the condition of the people who need knowledge, especially monotheism, Sufism, Jurisprudence to help people from heresies, to do charity and morals; (c) Formulating objectives; (d) Determining sustainable programs and activities; (e) Designing pesandan material that will be delivered to the communicant to keep the message understood and interpreted according to the value of the substance of the implementation of ahlussunnah wal jama'ah; and (f) Selecting media in channeling their messages through recitations in mosques, prayer rooms, recitation centers, pulpits, mass media, print and online media. Second, Tastafi plays a role in several forms of implementation, namely the role of knowledge development through recitation, good discussion directly or through the media. Roles in the development of da'wah through taklim assemblies. Role in the development of community good deeds. The role of empowering Islamic scholars in a missionary organization. Role in leadership empowerment through activities for the sake of upholding Islamic law. Role in amar ma`ruf nahi munkar and role in developing ukhwah with dayah-dayah to cooperate in developing civil society through the Tastafi organization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyzegovernment policies in development planning based on the industrial revolution 4.0 (RI 4.0), analyzing labor planning for the horticultural agricultural sector based on RI 4.0 and formulating scenarios for planning for the horticultural agricultural sector based on RI 4.0. This type of research is exploratorywith a qualitative approach the data were collected through interviews. The research informants are the head of farmer groups, managers of private farms, department heads and academics. Informants were selected purposively with certain criteria. Data were analyzed usingTAIDA (Tracing, Analyzing, Imaging, Deciding and Acting). The results of this study found thatThe policy for implementing RI 4.0 has not been accommodated in district regional planning documents, as well as for labor planning for the agricultural sector, especially for horticulture based on RI 4.0, it has not been accommodated in either the RPJMD or Strategic Plan. The workforce requirement for the 2021-2024 period is 12,028 people. The largest proportion of labor absorption is at the maintenance stage 44.02% and the lowest is 0.69% in marketing. The implementation of RI 4.0 still considers social, technical and physical aspects. Mondy's theory needs to be sharpened per cultivation stage so that the reduction in labor can be suppressed. Suggestions, the policy for implementing RI 4.0 is contained in the RPJMD and the Strategic Plan of each service, it is necessary for the role of inter-regional government institutions in planning the workforce of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

The speaker has efficacy of speech acts referred to as the felicity condition. According to Austin (1962), when using speech acts, one must meet specific conditions related to the act being uttered. When one makes a promise to another person, for example, he or she must meet the condition that the hearer or promiser needs what is being promised, and the speaker or promiser has the intention to accomplish that need; thereby, the act of promising is valid and can be considered a felicitous condition. A felicity condition is defined as a state in which the speaker has words that meet the necessary conditions, such as proper context, customary existence, authority, and sincerity. This qualitative research deals with felicity conditions in Emma Watson’s social media, i.e., Twitter. The data source of this research is tweets related to felicity conditions. There are three types of felicity conditions found in this research, representatively preparatory conditions, propositional content conditions, sincerity conditions

Abstract

The aims of this research was to develop the teaching material and to know the effectiveness of learning material developments’ result through Interactive Reading subject by using Dick and Carey for third semester students majoring in English education Muhammadiyah University of Kotabumi in academic year 2020/2021. The sites were class 3A which consists of 17 students. This teaching material was developed using DICK and CAREY development procedures which included: 1)Identity Instructional Goal, 2) Conduct Instructional Analysis,  3) Analyze Learners and Contexts, 4) Write Performance Objectives, 5) Develop Assesment Instruments, 6) Develop Instructional Strategy, 7) Develop and Select Instructional Materials, 8) Design and Conduct Formative Evaluation of Instruction, 9) Revise Instruction, and 10) Designing and Implementing Summative Evaluation. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that teaching material that has been developed is very effective for learning Interactive Reading subject. It can be seen by the average score of 3A students got 75.6 higher than the score of 3B was 67.7, while based on the results of questionnaire, the three aspects of teaching material is in very good category.

Abstract

The background of this research was the low performance of the employee, which could be seen from the non optimal task implementation, overdue task completion, and low discipline. In this study, the researcher used analytical descriptive method, also literature study and field study as the instruments. The field study consisted of observation, interview, and questionnaire. The result of the research showed that the human relations done by the Sub-District Head had not been fully implemented based on the principles in human relations. It caused the low employee performance in the Argapura Sub-District Office of Majalengka Regency, so that the hypothesis of the researcher is true and can be accepted.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on various aspects of human life, including the economic aspect. One of the causes of the economic decline in Indonesia is the low purchasing power of the people, so that the economic cycle in society cannot run smoothly. The strategy that is commonly carried out by the Indonesian people is based on local wisdom trying to share some of the profits for people in need, this in economic language is often called a cause related marketing strategy (CRM). Cause Related Marketing is a business strategy based on local wisdom by being directly involved in social activities in the community, so as to improve the company's positive image in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find and develop a character education model for MAN students throughout Medan City. Due to the extent of character education, the researchers limit character education in the learning process of cooperative learning-based because these model is more appropriate in student character education. This study is conducted by using Research and Development approach. The conclusions of this study are 1) the character education model has been carried out and developed that still using the communicative method more. 2) The results of the analysis show an increase in the results of character education, seen from the activities of student activities. 3) The development of the character education model of students in State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) throughout Medan City is still being carried out normally, through the R&D research, the overall learning phase can be carried out well using the Learning Design with a cooperative learning approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the literacy level of elementary school children from grade 1 to grade 3 in Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) based on four basic literacy skills, namely: (1) letter knowledge; (2) vocabulary or vocabulary; (3) reading fluency; (4) reading comprehension. The status of this research is a collaboration between the Nusa Cendana University Research Institute and the Sayangi Tunas Cilik Foundation (YSTC) Kupang. The study was conducted at 56 elementary schools spread over 7 sub-districts in Kupang Regency, NTT. The study population was 5085 children. Sampling of children in this study used the Slovin formula with an error rate of 2%. Samples were taken of as many as 1678 children. Data on children's literacy skills were taken using standardized tools from YSTC. These tools are already available in the form of a digital questionnaire. Data collection using a tablet with a face-to-face interview method (1 child with 1 enumerator). As many as 60% of children in the lower grades (grades I, II, III) of Elementary Schools in Kupang Regency are able to read. The specific findings of this study: (1) girls have higher literacy skills in the five basic literacy skills. (2) the role of the mother is more dominant in helping children read at home. (3) the higher the level (grade) the smaller the difference in literacy skills between boys and girls.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of budgeting and budget evaluation participation on government apparatus’ performances within the scope of Maluku Province Government. Research population is civil apparatuses in the government of Maluku Province consisting of 47 regional apparatus organizations. Samples include the heads of regional apparatus organization, the heads of department, the heads of division, the heads of sub-division, and staff involved in budget planning. Data gathering method employs questionnaires with the total of 150 copies (100%) distributed and 132 copies (88%) returned and processed. Analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Data is administered with SPSS 20 application. The analysis outcomes indicate that participation variable positively and significantly affects the performances of government apparatuses with the test value of the t-statistic hypothesis I and coefficient value: 0.19 and probability value 0.02. Furthermore, the result of t-statistics hypothesis II with coefficient value: 0.19 and probability value: 0.05 designates that there is no influence between budget evaluation variable and the variable of the government apparatus’ performances in Maluku Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and promotion on purchasing decisions with purchase intention as a moderating variable on the customers of UD Santan Kelapa Pasar Serdang Kemayoran. The total population in this study were all consumers of UD Santan Kelapa. The sample in this study was 100 respondents who were obtained through a questionnaire and analyzed using the partial least squares (PLS) data analysis method.sampling technique used was a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that product quality had an insignificant positive effect on purchasing decisions, promotions had no significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, buying interest had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, moderating buying interest on product quality had a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions, moderating buying interest on promotion has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions.
