Abstract

Mathematics as one of the subjects in school is considered to play an important role in education. Based on the Minister of National Education Regulation No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System (National Education System) article 37 it is emphasized that, "Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects for students at the basic education level". The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the application of the Problem Based Learning model with TAKALINTAR media, which is better than the Direct Instruction model with multiplication media in terms of student learning outcomes in grade III multiplication material. The results of the study stated that the PBL learning variable had a direct and significant effect on Learning Outcomes and Attitudes. This can be seen from the results of the partial test (T test) which shows that the tcount value is greater than the ttable value, namely (3.802 < 1.617) and the significance value is 0.000 > 0.05. This means that the H1 hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is an influence of the free shipping promotion variable on the Learning Outcomes and Attitudes variable in grade 3 A and B students of SD N Nangsi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio and Total Asset Turnover on Return on Equity in manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the food and beverage subsector. Data collection is done by collecting secondary data in the form of financial statements of 6 companies for the period 2013-2020, the method of determining the sample used is the purposive sampling method in which the financial statements are made up of panel data and processed with Eviews 9 software. The results of this study show that the Current ratio (X1) is not significant effect on Return on Equity (Y). Where the results of the t arithmetic test are smaller than the t table (-0.931024 < 2.01537) with a significance value of 0.3567 > 0.05 then Ho is accepted and H1 is rejected. Debt to Equity Ratio (X2) has a significant effect on Return on Equity (Y). Where the test results t arithmetic is greater than t table (2.475227 > 2.01537) with a significance value of 0.0171 < 0.05 then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Total Asset Turnover (X3) has a significant effect on Return on Equity (Y). t count is greater than t table (2.819950 > 2.01537) with a significance value of 0.0071 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Current Ratio (X1), Debt to Equty Ratio (X2) and Total Asset Turnover (X3) simultaneously have a significant and significant effect on the Return on Equity (Y) variable. where the results of the calculated F test are greater than F table 4.652487 > 3.21 and are also shown by the probability value being smaller than the significant level (0.006555 < 0.05), so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

Bomb explosions carried out by the ISIS network in Indonesia attracted the attention of the mass media, both local, national and international, including detik.com and republika.co.id. In covering the events, each media had a different perspective so that gave birth to the tendency in the news. Framing reporting aims to make the audience also have a similar tendency to the media read. The purpose of this study is: To find out the tendency of reporting on ISIS by detik.com and its implications for the reader's perception of the Islamic state. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research that aims to explain the implications of detik.com framing related to ISIS terrorism news in Indonesia, especially regarding audience perceptions about the Islamic Caliph. Media framing was carried out through the analysis of Zondang Pan and Kosicki. For framing effects the reception theory is used. The speakers were activists of Islamic Student Organizations, IMM, KAMMI, HMI, HIMMAH and PMII. The results showed that detik.com's readers' perception of the Islamic State was a positive concept, but it did not have to be realized in a formal or forced form, especially in Indonesia. Detik.com readers also view the concept of Islamic sharia as something positive, but not made in formal form through statutory regulations. In detik.com news, it is more likely to be neutral by submitting field facts and opinion facts in the news without relating to matters related to Islam.

Abstract

This study presents the latest information on a review of Islamic law towards marriage customs of juelen and angkap in Gayo tribe, Central Aceh District. This research uses the theory of mashlahah: the applicative theory is used in analyzing the research data and in the end of the research shows that the effect of marriage custom of Gayo on juelen and angkap must continue to give part to each party (ex-husband and wife) especially the marriage of Angkap, and if there is a dowry debt as in marriage of angkap, then it can be settled after sharing of shared assets between the former wife and husband. This awarding is based on consideration of mercy on the basis of providing guarantees in life after the divorce occurred.  Obviously by giving a share to the husband or wife of shared assets as a result of the marriage customs of juelen / angkap in Gayo custom, it is still based on the idea behind the spirit of KHI that seeks to translate shared assets as a means to guarantee life after divorce and of course this is in line with the legal basis Islam. Thus, the formulation of article 85-97 KHI is considered to fulfill the values of benefit in maintaining humanitarian relations and the benefit of family.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) is the backbone in running the operational activities of a company. Efforts to develop this goal can be done through affective and normative commitments so that employee work discipline continues to increase. This type of research is quantitative, and the place of this research is the Education Office of Labuhan Batu Regency. Data collection techniques used in the study were observation, documentation and questionnaires using a Likert scale. The population in this study were 95 employees of the Labuhan Batu District Education Office. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Since the number of employees of the Labuhan Batu Regency Education Office is 95 people (less than 100 people), all employees are taken as objects of research. The analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results of the regression analysis obtained the t arithmetic value of 2.089 > t table 1.6615. This means that the affective commitment variable (X1) has a positive effect on the work discipline variable (Y). Then the significant value is 0.040 <0.05, which means that the affective commitment variable (X1) has a significant effect on the work discipline variable (Y). Based on the results of the regression analysis, the t-count value of 11.074 > t table 1.6615 means that the normative commitment variable (X2) has a positive effect on the work discipline variable (Y). Then the significant value is 0.000 <0.05, which means that the normative commitment variable (X2) has a significant effect on the work discipline variable (Y). The value of Fcount is 97.252> Ftable 3.09 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 affective commitment (X1) and normative commitment(X2)simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on work discipline (Y).

Abstract

The success of private and public higher education organizations in implementing the Tridharma, namely teaching, research and service, is largely determined by the performance of lecturers as human resources who manage the Tridharma process. Therefore, the performance of lecturers must be managed properly in order to be successful and efficient in achieving educational goals, and to ensure an increase in the quality of higher education. To obtain optimal lecturer performance at a private university, it is necessary to pay attention to the factors of emotional intelligence and cognitive abilities. Lecturers who have controlled emotional intelligence and good cognitive abilities will have good performance. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and cognitive abilities on lecturer performance. The number of samples set in this study were 146 lecturers as respondents. As an independent variable, namely emotional intelligence and cognitive ability and the dependent variable is the performance of the lecturer. For data collection is done by using a questionnaire with five answer choices. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The instrument used was first tested on respondents outside the sample to get a valid and reliable instrument. The validity test uses the Product Moment correlation, while to test the reliability it uses the Alpha formula from Cronbac. Before testing the hypothesis, the analysis requirements test is calculated which includes: data normality test and regression linearity test. The results showed that the emotional intelligence variable had a direct positive effect on lecturer performance by 3.2%, and the cognitive ability variable had a direct positive effect on lecturer performance by 5.5%.
