Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of digital body positivity activism on Instagram social media. Instagram social media plays a role in creating a much more democratic space and creating more neutral users. However, in reality, Instagram is one of the mediums where the ideal body and beauty myths continue to be intensified. The presence of body positivity seeks to challenge the beauty myths displayed in various media. The analysis was conducted with several content samples with the hashtags #bodypositive and body positivity. Previous studies have analyzed more positive body image campaigns on social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and how other social media users respond to the discourse of body positivity being spread. The results of this study, where body positivity activists and influencers spread body positivity, also take a significant role in spreading body positivity discourse.

Abstract

Assessment for learning (AfL) is a concept that falls into a new category in ESL/EFL writing. At AfL, learning is an end in itself, and assessment acts as a means to an end. However, the emphasis on the assessment of the AfL concept raises several suggestions, in implementing AfL, teachers are required to be able to integrate teaching, learning and assessment at once rather than just focusing exclusively on how to assess students' writing themselves. This article aims to discuss the key concepts AfL refers to writing and provide easy-to-implement suggestions to assist teachers in ESL/EFL writing  and practicing AfL in the classroom.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic made the increase of online-based culinary businesses and caused the desire and need for food and beverage ordering also increased. This research activity will discuss customer purchase decisions at Grabfood merchants in Jabodetabek with quantitative methods using testing techniques validity, reliability, classical assumptions, model feasibility, and Analysis Regression Linear Multiple and in the collection of research samples conducted applying accidental sampling with survey methods through Questionnaires distributed as many as 40 samples as research instruments to find out respondents' opinions on the impact of promotion mix with variables Ads, Promotions, and Publicity. The results of the study in the form of data on the impact of Advertising, Promotion, Publicity that affect significantly and positively on customer purchase decisions, this is supported by 81.4% of respondents who choose the Grabfood application as a means or medium to buy food and the intensity of increased promotions made by merchants or parties.  Grabfood applicator itself. Based on the results of significant research it was found that Promotion Mix with subvariable Advertising, Promotion, and Publicity had a significant and positive effect on customer purchase decisions at Grabfood Merchant in Jabodetabek.

Abstract

Financial reporting on the internet has attracted the attentions of financial services authorities, thus making public companies obliged to implement internet financial reporting. However, there are still public companies that have not implemented internet financial reporting. In addition, some companies have implemented internet financial reporting but, do not disclose complete information per regulations. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of company size, listing age, and foreign listing status on the application of internet financial reporting. Quantitative research methods have been applied in this study. This study's population consists of infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2016 and 2020. The researcher used a purposive sampling technique in selecting sample. The sample used in this study was 35 companies with five years of observation.  Information for this research comes from the company's annual report, website information, financial services authority regulations, and previous research. Panel data regression analysis technique has been used in this study and it was processed using EViews 10. The results show that the independent variables of company size and foreign listing status have no impact on internet financial reporting. However, variable listing age has a significant positive impact on internet financial reporting.

Abstract

The research on male and female languages is an interesting issue that has emerged not only in Indonesia but also in other countries. This study aims to clarify request strategies used by men and women and the reasons why they use it. It presents three separate studies, namely pragmatics, sociolinguistics and technology. Content analysis is used in this research and the data are five Ome TV videos taken from You Tube.  The participants in those videos are males and females came from different cultural background. The findings show different request strategies used by male and female because of several reasons. To summarize, male and female use different request strategies that lead to different gender characteristic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that influence the success of a tourist village. Qualitative methods were used in this study with a case study approach. The data was collected through in-depth interviews conducted in person and online with participants as well as direct observations conducted as supporting materials. The results of this study show that there are severalfactors that influence the success of tourism villages, namely the participation of local communities and communities in developing tourism villages, marketing activities carried out to attract tourists to visit there, sufficient funding to support tourism activities, networking with relations so that they can cooperate. The efforts made to achieve this success, namely tourismactivists as the main motorbikes in tourism villages must have a common vision, totality and solidarity in driving tourism village activities, hubungan managers with the general public must be well fostered, intensify marketing activities so that many tourists visit andbenefit thenetwork of relationships to get investors or sources of funds and media marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the direct and indirect effects of employee engagement and work motivation on performance through learning agility on the performance of employees of PT. Paiton Operation and Maintenance Indonesia (PT. POMI). This research was conducted on employees of PT. POMI with the number of respondents in this study as many as 124 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling where the sample is taken at random from the entire population. Data analysis method using Partial least square using softwareSMART PLS 3. HasThe results showed that work motivation and learning agility directly had a positive and significant effect on performance, while employee engagement directly had a positive but not significant effect on performance. The work motivation and employee engagement indirectly have a positive and significant effect on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to show the response of the stock price before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 status change from endemic to pandemic by WHO on March 12th, 2020. This research can be measured using abnormal returns and trading volume activity with the event study approach. The samples in this study are the shares of the LQ45 index issuers in the period of February 2020 - July 2020 selected using purposive sampling technique. In this study, the period used was 5 days before the announcement, 1 day at the time of the announcement, and 5 days after the announcement. The results of this study show that there was no significant difference on abnormal returns before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 status change towards the LQ45 stock index. Furthermore, there was no significant difference on trading volume activity before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 status change towards the LQ45 stock index.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze effect of green marketing, brand image, brand equity, and customer orientation on buying interest in Zorlien Light Emitting Diode products moderated by internet technology, study on Students at the Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study are consumers who have purchased Zorlien Light Emitting Diode products. The sample in this study are 97 respondents with the criteria of every consumer met and who had bought or had not used but already had a Zorlien Light Emitting Diode product. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data. Data analysis are tested with inner model measurement through coefficient of determination and value of path coefficients. Based on the results of the study, it shows that green marketing has significant effect on buying interest, brand image has insignificant effect on buying interest, brand equity has significant effect on buying interest, customer orientation has insignificant effect on buying interest, and internet technology has insignificant effect on buying interest. Moderation of internet technology in green marketing has insignificant effect on buying interest. Moderation of internet technology on brand image has insignificant effect on buying interest. Moderation of internet technology on brand equity has significant effect on buying interest. Moderation of internet technology on customer orientation has insignificant effect on buying interest.

Abstract

Teachers are one of the most important elements of the school education system, and as pioneers in implementing the learning process, teachers attract public attention for their dedicated and loyal work ethic. This study aims to examine the factors that influence the professionalism of SMA/SMK teachers in South Tangerang City in terms of teacher competence, principal leadership and work motivation. the sample was taken at random a number of 150 teachers. The analysis used in this study uses path analysis with the help of SPSS version 25 software. The results of the research on the sub-structure equation I show that the variables of teacher competence and principal leadership have a significant and significant influence on teacher work motivation. In the sub-structure equation II shows that the competence of teachers, Principal leadership and teacher work motivation have an influence on teacher professionalism. Teacher competence has a significant effect on teacher professionalism, both directly and indirectly through teacher work motivation with values of 0.431 and 0.097 respectively. Likewise, the principal's leadership has a significant effect on teacher professionalism, both directly and indirectly through teacher work motivation with values of 0.188 and 0.047, respectively.
