Abstract

The food and beverage industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly in the modern era. One of them is Fanta, as one of the carbonated beverage products. With so many competitors continuing to emerge, Fanta made innovations by creating new packaging that is 'twisted'. In fact, Fanta is considered to have the best performance in the Fizzy Drinks Category in the last three years after the launch of its new packaging.  The purpose of this study is to find out if there is any influence from Fanta packaging changes with buying interest. The population in this study was as many as 40 subjects who had already consumed Fanta, but had never bought Fanta with new packaging. Sampling techniques use questionnaires with simple random sampling techniques. This research uses the experimental design of True Experimental Design with the Posttest Only Control Group Design method.  The results showed that packaging and its variables such as shapes, images, colors, logos, and labels have a positive and significant influence on buying interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether Risk Management and Corporate Governance with Bank Size as an intervening variable on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the IDX, to determine whether Risk Management and Corporate Governance affect the financial performance of banking companies listed on the IDX through Bank Size as an intervening variable to find out whether Risk Management and Corporate Governance affect Bank Size in banking companies listed on the IDX and to determine whether Bank Size affects financial performance in banking companies listed on the IDX. The population used in this study is four banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Using the purposive sampling method according to the criteria, there are four selected banking companies. Using the 2016 to 2020 observation year (5 years) to measure discretionary accrual plus the 2015 observation year, it will get 30 data observations as sampling in this study. Hypothesis testing is done by linear regression analysis. From the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that the application of risk management has a significant effect on financial performance and corporate governance has a significant effect on financial performance. Moreover, the application of risk management using Bank Size as an intervening variable can mediate financial performance, and the implementation of corporate governance using Bank Size as an intervening variable can mediate company performance, meaning that Bank Size is not a good variable in mediating the relationship between risk management and corporate governance. Financial Performance (KK) and Risk Management affect earnings management, while Corporate Governance affects Bank Size, and Bank Size affects financial performance.

Abstract

Covid19 is a disease caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). As a result, the respiratory system becomes disrupted. The spread of this disease is very easy through droplets. The use of masks is one way to prevent being attacked by this virus. The system for detecting the use of masks is very necessary for today in detecting whether someone is wearing a mask. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is a method that can be used to detect masks. In this study, the VGG16, Resnet50, and MobileNet models will be used. Before conducting data training, data preprocessing and data augmentation were carried out on the dataset. The test accuracy of the VGG16, Resnet50, and MobileNet models are 96% and 96% and 98%, respectively. From the test results, it is found that the MobileNet model is more appropriate in the case of mask detection. The conclusion obtained is the use of the MobileNet architecture, the resources used for classifying can be reduced compared to other architectures. MobileNet uses the Depth-Wise Separable method in the computing process which reduces the computational process.

Abstract

Water is a very important natural resource. Water is needed for industrial, agricultural, fishery or pond activities, and other businesses. Planning and management of irrigation systems is one of the important stages to determine the overall demand for irrigation water. The Wawotobi Irrigation Area (DI) is the largest irrigation area in Southeast Sulawesi. Currently, this high water loss can lead to unfulfilled water needs in irrigated gardens, resulting in failure at harvest. This research was conducted by calculatingmainstay discharge to supply irrigation water needs, plan for cropping patterns in the irrigation area of the Wawotobi weir, Konawe Regency. This study also analyzes channel efficiency in the Wawotobi irrigation network by conducting field observations. The data from the observations are then analyzed so that it can be seen how much efficiency is in the distribution of irrigation water. In addition, this research also analyzes the water balance so that alternatives can be given in an effort to optimize the operation of water distribution in the irrigation network. Based on the analysis that has been done using the rice-paddy-palawija cropping pattern, the results of the calculation of the maximum water demand on the BW1 – B Un irrigation network are obtained. 5 Tg during the existing growing season was 9,477 L/sec, During the first growing season it was 9.998 L/sec, During the second growing season it was 7,452 L/second At the third growing season it was 9.998 L/second with a water balance rate which is quite high, namely 17.17 during land preparation. Irrigation network BW1 – B Un. 5 Tg has a network efficiency of 80%, which meets the irrigation planning standards of 80-90%.
