Abstract

This research was initially motivated by a problem where motivation is what makes tourists carry out tourism activities to see how the motivation of tourists to visit Payo agro-tourism in Solok City, with quantitative descriptive research and survey methods. The tourists who are the samples in this study are people who have visited and are currently visiting Payo Agrotourism, Solok City and the technique of determining the sample is accidental sampling. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires with 13 statements related to tourist motivation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the motivation value of tourists visiting Payo Agrotourism in Solok City was found in the very good category with a percentage of 71%, which means that the motivation of tourists visiting Payo Agrotourism in Solok was in the very good category. The indicators of physical motivation are categorized as very good and the percentage is 50%. indicators of interpersonal motivation are in the very good category with a percentage of 72%. indicators of motivation status and dignity are categorized as very good at the percentage of 94%%. indicators of cultural motivation are classified in the bad category with a percentage of 47%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Potential of Green Talao Park Tourism Attraction in Nagari Ulakan Padang Pariaman Regency is with four indicators of tourist attraction, namely: a) attraction, b) accessibilities, c) amenities, d) ancillary services. This type of research is descriptive qualitative survey method. The sources of information in this study used purposive sampling, totaling nine people, namely two people from the Padang Pariaman Regency Tourism Office, one Wali Nagari, one person from the Head of the Pesisir Ulakan Bumnag, one Pokdarwis Green Talao Park, two local people and two visitors. Based on the research results, the authors found several potential tourist attractions for Green Talao Park, namely: 1) the Green Talao Park attraction has the potential for natural tourist attractions, namely having unspoiled natural beauty such as the stretch of Talao forest which has a 1.8 km tracking path with the flora and fauna in it as well as beautiful beach views with sunsets. In addition to natural tourism, Green Talao Park also provides artificial tourism such as tree houses, gazebos, water rides, and a love pier. 2) accessibilities with good road conditions, but the road from the entrance gate to the parking lot is still narrow, there is no special public transportation to get there, the distance to Green Talao Park is 44 km from the center of Padang City and 16 km from the International Airport. 3) amenities, namely the availability of toilets, prayer rooms, places to eat and drink, trash cans, but there is no souvenir shop. 4) there are no ATMs for ancillary services, no health facilities, but there is a puskesmas that is close to Green Talao Park and already has an information center and monitoring post.

Abstract

This research begins with the phenomenon encountered related to complaints from guests and not maximising the servicescape that exists at Evas Restaurant Hotel Grand Rocky Bukittinggi. So that the author conducts this research with the aim of knowing the amount of influence of Servicescape on guest satisfaction at Evas Restaurant Hotel Grand Rocky Bukittinggi. type of research is descriptive quantitative by utilising the causal associative method which aims to determine how dominant the influence of Servicescape (X) on Guest Satisfaction (Y) Evas Restaurant Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. In the study, the sample was taken by utilising non-probability sampling techniques with a total of 100 people who had visited the Evas Restaurant at the Grand Rocky Hotel. Data was collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques for hypothesis testing using linear regression analysis. After conducting the research process, the following research results were obtained: (1) servicescape is known to be included in the good category (84%), (2) Guest Satisfaction is known to be included in the good category (76%) (3) from testing the simple linear regression hypothesis, it is known that the amount of F count is 16.603 and the significant level is known to be 0.000 <0.05, the R square obtained a value of 0.145. This means that servicescape affects guest satisfaction by 14.5% and the rest in total 85.5% get influence from other factors. Furthermore, the calculated t value is 4.075 which is a significant level of 0.000 <0.05, with the t value obtained there is a significant relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

The research on the influence of incentives on the work professionalism of Truntum Padang Hotel employees was motivated by the implementation of observations and interviews during industrial field experience at the Truntum Padang Hotel, where several problems were found related to the incentives and work professionalism of Truntum Padang Hotel employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of incentives on employee professionalism at Truntum Hotel in Padang City A quantitative research type with a causal associative approach was chosen in this study. The population is employees at Trumtum Hotel with a sample size of 70 respondents. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 29 statements, which had been tested for validity and reliability. The data is described through the level of achievement of respondents and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on hypothesis testing, it is known that the Adjusted R value is 0.168, indicating the influence of incentives on professionalism of 16.8% and 83.2% is determined by other factors. Furthermore, it is known that the F value is 13,709 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that incentives (X) have a significant effect on professionalism (Y). The regression coefficient value is 0.829 with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

The background of this research is the observation of Lake Kerinci and several negative reviews of tourists about Lake Kerinci found on google reviews, such as fish cages in Lake Kerinci which were established freely and uncontrollably, causing the natural scenery of Lake Kerinci to be disturbed and polluted, accessibility difficulties for tourists who using public transportation, water shortages in public toilets, causing the cleanliness of the toilets to not be maintained, there are still illegal collection activities (Pungli), and the number of trash bins is still small and inadequate, causing a lot of garbage to be scattered along with the absence of cleaners. This research aims to find out what tourists think about the tourist attraction of Lake Kerinci which is reviewed using indicators: attraction, accessibility, amenities and ancillary service. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, The research sample amounted to 82 people from 428 population and used accidental sampling technique. The data was obtained by distributing a structured questionnaire using a Likert Scale. Data analysis used descriptive analysis to categorize respondents' answers. The results of the study stated that the perception of tourists about the tourist attraction of Lake Kerinci is categorized as bad with a percentage of 40%. (1) Based on the attraction indicator, it is categorized as bad with a percentage of 54%. (2) Based on the indicators of accessibility (accessibility) is categorized as sufficient with a percentage of 67%. (3) Based on the indicators of amenities (facilities) are categorized as bad with a percentage of 42%. (4) based on the ancillary service indicator (supporting facilities) it is categorized as bad with a percentage of 34%.

Abstract

This research is a follow-up of the importance of recent promotional efforts on guests' decisions to choose to stay at hotels, this research is causal associative research. The sample in this study was 100 guests using a non-probability sampling technique. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires with as many as 30 statements. Furthermore, the data is processed using a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results of testing the hypothesis obtained the value of R Square with the number 0.092 which means that there is an influence of the promotion variable and the stay decision variable with a number of 9.2% and then 90.8% is influenced by other factors. regression coefficient 0.456 with Sig 0.002 < 0.05. This means that each increase of 1 promotion unit can increase 0.456 units of Stay Decision

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe customer perceived value at Whiz Prime Hotel Padang. This research is motivated by several reviews about customer perceived value by guests who have stayed at Whiz Prime Hotel Padang. This research is quantitative descriptive research with survey method. The population of the study is guests who have stayed at the Whiz Prime Hotel in Padang city at least once, the number of samples is 100 people. Collecting research data using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been through validity and reliability tests. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis to see the categories of answers. The results of the study: overall showed a fairly good category with a percentage of 38% and obtained a TCR value of 65.10% a fairly good category. Furthermore, based on the following indicators: (1) The benefits of the product show a very good category with a percentage of 29% and obtain a TCR value of 66.5% with a fairly good category. (2) The service benefits show a fairly good category with a percentage of 31% and a TCR value of 66.75% with a fairly good category. (3) Personal benefits show a good enough category with a percentage of 35% and get a TCR value of 66.7% with a fairly good category. (4) The reputation benefit shows a fairly good category with a percentage of 28% and a TCR value of 64.25% in a fairly good category. (5) The cost of the price shows a fairly good category with an interpretation of the percentage of respondents' assessment of 39% and obtaining a TCR value of 63.8% with fairly good category. (6) The cost of labor and time shows a good category with the interpretation of the percentage of respondents' assessment of 26% and obtaining a TCR value of 63.08% with a fairly good category

Abstract

This research stems from the lack of optimal performance of employees at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi, and the presence of employees who feel reluctant to help other employees. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employee performance, Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. This research is a type of quantitative research with a causal associative approach. The population in this research is 88 people. The sampling method used the Slovin formula and the sample in this research amounted to 75 people. Research information is obtained by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires compiled based on a grid of research variable indicators, with 5 answer options that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis method. The results of the research explain that OCB has a positive and significant effect on employee performance where the partial significance test (t test) with a significance of 0.004 <0.05. Which means, in the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) hypothesis, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. concluded that OCB has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.106, which means that the independent variable (X) affects as much as 10.6% of the dependent variable (Y) and as much as 89.4% is influenced by other variables

Abstract

Aek Milas and the Legend of Sampuraga are one of the leading tourist attractions in Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra, the area of ​​​​this tourist area is approximately 2 hectares, this area is always crowded with visitors on holidays but the presence of visitors in the area is not regular, the accumulation of visitors at one point, and does not yet have a pattern of activity in the area. Setting the pattern of tourist activity in the area is very important so that the tourism potential can be more optimally managed properly, for that it is necessary to design a pattern of tourist activity in that location. From observations and interviews conducted with related parties, it was found that a pattern that made it possible for the friend was suitable, namely the Chaining Loop model. The Chaining Loop pattern is adopted from the tourist travel pattern with the addition of facilities and infrastructure through the 6A concept (Attraction, Amenities, Ancillary, Activities, Accessibilities, Accommodation) that can attract tourists' attention.

Abstract

Cultural diversity in East Java is a leading potential in tourism activities, this is because the culture is unique and has its own characteristics in each region. One of them is Banyuwangi which is located in the eastern part of Java Island and is nicknamed The Sunrise of Java, making Banyuwangi transformed into a tourist area that develops through the artistic potential and local wisdom of the Osing Tribe. The Osing tribe is a native of Banyuwangi and is considered the original Osing tribe, a sub-ethnic of the Javanese tribe. One of the villages in Glagah District has residents who still preserve the traditional values ​​and customs of Osing, namely Kemiren Village. With that, Kemiren Village has the potential to become a cultural tourism object with the Osing Tribe's cultural attractions. However, this study will use a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the actual situation or facts. Primary data and secondary data are used to support this research. This study found that the influence of tourism on the preservation of the Osing Tribe culture in Kemiren Village received a positive response from informants who were taken directly through interviews with one of the Osing indigenous people in Kemiren Village. The local community said that the existence of a tourist village for them did not interfere with their activities. According to them, the presence of a village tourism village is able to develop community innovation, namely the emergence of employment opportunities and a significant economic improvement for the people of Kemiren Village. In addition, from a socio-cultural perspective, the people of Kemiren Village maintain their daily lifestyle and preserve the traditions or customs that apply in the village.
