Jurnal ini didedikasikan untuk artikel orisinal yang diterbitkan dalam Indonesia, dan Melayu. Jurnal ini sebagai forum ilmiah Seni Rupa dan Desain. Ranah Seni: Jurnal Seni dan Desain merupakan jurnal yang dikelola oleh jurusan Seni Rupa dan jurnal terbitan ini bersifat ilmiah. Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran SbyK di SDN 07 dan 08 Ulak Karang Padang sering kali diabaikan dan diganti dengan pelajaran lain. Guru-guru yang melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran SByK menggunakan bahan praktikum yang didapatkan dengan cara membeli. Padahal berbagai bahan terbuang (sampah) dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan praktikum. Pemecahan masalah dilaksanakan dengan: (1) Pembuatan model dan media presentasi, (2) penyuluhan, dan (3) pelatihan. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah: (1) Aspek manajemen bahan praktikum pembelajaran SbyK dengan hasil: (a) Guru SDN 07 dan SDN 08 Ulak Karang Padang telah dapat mengidentifikasi dan mengelola sampah yang ada di sekitar murid sebagai bahan praktikum pembelajaran SByK. (b) Guru SDN 07 dan SDN 08 Ulak Karang Padang telah dapat mengidentifikasi dan mengelola sampah yang ada di sekitar murid sebagai bahan praktikum pembelajaran SByK. (c) Sebanyak 80,52% materi manajemen bahan praktikum pembelajaran SByK sudah dikuasai oleh Guru SDN Mitra. (2) Aspek penguasaan dan penerapan materi pembelajaran SByK dari bahan sampah dengan hasil: (a) Guru SDN 07 dan SDN 08 Ulak Karang Padang telah dapat memahami pengertian, konsep, dan proses pembuatan teknik menggunting dan menempel dalam pembelajaran SbyK. Sebanyak 80,35% materi sudah dikuasai oleh Guru SDN Mitra. (b) Telah dihasilkan tiga model karya keterampilan dari bahan-bahan sampah. (c) Guru SDN 07 dan SDN 08 Ulak Karang Padang telah dapat membuat karya SByK dengan teknik menggunting dan menempel dari bahan sampah. Setiap peserta telah menghasilkan satu karya montase, satu karya kolase, dan satu karya mozaik mempergunakan bahan dari sampah.

Abstract

Surveys from APJII conducted in 2016, states 1.8 million or 35% of people in the province of West Sumatra have been connected to the Internet and often access social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The low ethics of social media of some people causes them to write down the status of SARA. In the Minangkabau community, known ethics communicate organize communications that are compatible with the morma and cultural values ​​of Minangkabau, namely "Kato nan Ampek" and Kaba. Because of the phenomenon related to the phenomenon of the low ethics of the Minangkabau community in social networking sites has inspired the writer's desire to design ILM in the form of motion graphic video that is persuasive in persuasive community to give normative ethics to communicate in the context of Minangkabau culture on social networking sites. The main media of ILM is motion graphic video and is supported with other media such as stickers that are mobile and facilitate the delivery of messages, banners to be published in strategic areas, pins as souvenirs and X banner as a media campaign for in door (inside the room).

Abstract

The problem is prioritized to the main interrelated aspects, namely the problem: (1) the inability of teachers to understand and apply scientific writing in their writings, and (2) the inability of teachers to understand and write PTK proposals. Problem solving is done by approaching: (a) the design of teaching materials, (b) counseling, and (c) training. The activity has produced: (a) teaching material of scientific writing material, CAR concept, and the process of writing a CAR proposal, (b) as much as 74.12% scientific writing material, 72.35 CAR concept material, and 70.59% proposal writing process material PTK has been mastered by the participants, and (c) the knowledge has been applied by partner teachers in writing proposals

Abstract

Uniknya karakteristik produk sulaman bayangan merupakan salah satu aspek tingginya minat pasar terhadap produk tersebut. Akan tetapi kualitas produk menjadi acuan utama selera pasar. Industri kecil sulaman bayangan di Kenegarian Barung-Barung Balantai Kecamatan Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Propinsi Sumatera Barat mempunyai masalah utama pada aspek kualitas, terutama kualitas motif hias yang digunakan - produk yang dibuat belum mengalami transformasi terutama motif yang digunakan. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, program vucer ini bertujuan untuk membantu mengembangkan desain motif produk sulaman bayangan tersebut sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip desain dan proses pengembangannya. Implementasi kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah bervariasi, demonstrasi, latihan terbimbing, dan resitasi. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah membuat prototype produk dengan desain motif bervariasi, dan penggunaan "job sheet" yang dilengkapi dengan contoh‑contoh motif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan 70 % produk sudah mempunyai motif sangat baik, 10 % berkategori baik, 15 % berkategori cukup, dan 5 % berkategori kurang; dan variasi motif yang dibuat peserta menunjukkan 75 % sangat baik, 10 % baik, dan 5 % cukup, dan 10% kurang.

Abstract

Teachers in Elementary School Subdistrict IV Koto Agam District, especially Elementary School Gugus 01 Subdistrict IV Koto Agam experienced problems in the implementation of learning Arts and Skills Arts (SBK), especially craft materials. The reality that exists in the elementary school is that SBK learning is not well implemented. The main problem is that teachers do not master SBK material, especially craft materials. Based on these problems it was agreed with the Chairperson of Cluster 1 District IV Koto, that the priority issues to be resolved were concerning; 1) mastery of craft learning materials and 2) mastery of craft-making techniques from used goods. To overcome this problem, training was carried out to teachers, with the aim of increasing teacher mastery in craft learning, so as to improve the quality of SBK learning, especially craft material in Elementary School. The results of these activities are: Most of junior high school teachers have mastered the craft materials given, especially the technique of making handicrafts from used goods properly.

Abstract

Tenun songket Pandai Sikek has been known by the public ; tenun Pandai Sikek consists of balapak fabric (tenun fabric with full motif) and bacatua (tenun fabric witc spreadiang motif). The unigue characteristic of its weaving is the motif used namely Mnangkabau motif. Various creativities are done by the craftsmen so tenun Pandai Sikek is always preffered by the consumers. One of them is by packaging tenun songket pandai sikek into souvenirs and combining it with sulaman technique. The making of motif on the fabric of tenun songket pandai sikek is used to be done by pulling out the thread but nowadays the making of motif has been combined with sulaman technigue: the combination of tenun technigue and sulaman tecnigue is the newest innovation done by pandai sikek craftsmen, and i­ts only found on the songket veil not on the other produkts. Motif applied with sulaman technigue is the stylization of the shape of rose and its parts such as leaf, suluak, stem, and flower bloom. There functions of art on tenun songket namely personal function is the craftsmens aesthetics channelled through the creation of songket that’s creative and innovative without limit; fusic function is the use value of a thing or product so it can be used as the ready-used tool and media that features the beauty value of that product; social function is related to personal collection, and desire to have something is the result of someone­s collection, and desire to have something is the result of someones collective nature. Tenun songket pandai sikek can be worn and used in formal events such as inauguration, gradution, marriage, and customary events in order to be more elegant and posh. Tenun songket pandai sikek tends to have classic and modern styles.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, a strategy for enhancing and developing Human Resources (HR) is needed. HR development is carried out to form quality personal through skills, work ability, and work loyalty to an institution, foundation or organization. No exception to the HR of the Children in the Orphanage. One effort that can be done is to help orphanage children to develop skills in the field of woven crafts with various types of materials and techniques for products of objects of wear and art. This woven skills training is packaged in the Community Partnership Program (PKM) which is very useful for orphanage children as a provision for them to become entrepreneurs later, if they are no longer the responsibility of the Foundation. To achieve the target as expected, this activity is carried out using lecture, presentation, question and answer, and assignment methods, so that each participant produces woven products / crafts that are of artistic value and use value as well as selling value.

Abstract

Masalah prioritas ditetapkan dari dua aspek, yaitu: (1) Aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengolah warna dengan rumusan masalah Guru SDN 21 dan Guru SDN 25 Lubuk Lintah Padang belum dapat: (a) memahami jenis warna-warna primer, sekunder, dan tertier. (b) mengolah warna primer menjadi warna sekunder, dan tertier. (c) membuat turunan warna dalam bentuk lingkaran warna. (2) aspek teknik-teknik menggambar dengan cat air dengan rumusan masalah Guru SDN 21 dan Guru SDN 25 Lubuk Lintah Padang belum dapat: (a) memahami teknik dan proses teknik-teknik menggambar dengan cat air. (b) membuat gambar dengan cat air teknik wet. (c) membuat gambar dengan cat air teknik dry. (d) membuat gambar dengan cat air teknik mix. Solusi pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan pendekatan: rancang bangun model, penyuluhan, dan pelatihan. Kegiatan dilakukan selama delapan bulan dengan target luaran pada: (a) Minimal 70% materi warna-warna primer, sekunder, dan tertier dikuasai peserta; (b) Minimal 70% pengetahuan teknik wet, dry and mix dengan cat air dikuasai oleh peserta; (c) Setiap peserta menghasilkan satu buah model gradasi warna dalam bentuk lingkaran warna dengan cat air; (d) Setiap peserta menghasilkan satu buah gambar teknik wet, dry atau mix dengan cat air. Seluruh target luaran tersebut sudah dapat dicapai.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Kerinci Regency has many natural attractions, arts and cultural diversity and has become the center of natural tourist attractions, Arts and Culture, In line with the main objective of the Kerinci Regency Government, an event called Kerinci Festival was then organized. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign the brand to make it more attractive, consistent, and effective. The establishment of a Brand image can be done by designing the logo in advance and supported by the activity attributes (supporting media) of the festival which has a unified entirety to be easily remembered. Data collection method was used in this design through observation, interview, literature, documentation, and data analysis using SWOT and AISAS analyses. The next process was carried out by creating a new brand with the main media in the form of Kerinci festival logo of tourism enhancement, and supporting media such as festival attributes, print publications and audiovisual media that consistently have unity in Branding. The logo of the "Kerinci Tourism Charm Festival" consists of a visual form of the Asyiek dance and a combination of the Klouk Pakou motif supported by the tagline or slogan of Nature, Arts and Culture as the brand image of the Festival of Kerinci Tourism enhancement. 297

Abstract

Teachers in Padang City Elementary Schools, especially in the Gugus V Elementary School, Padang Timur District, experienced problems in improving the quality of learning in the Culture and Arts and Crafts, thus affecting the achievement of student learning outcomes. One of the efforts in improving the quality of learning, teachers need to improve their learning by implementing CAR. In general, the East Padang Elementary School Group V teacher has not been able to do a CAR to improve their learning. Teachers are not implemented by CAR, because generally they do not master CAR and innovative learning strategies / models that can be used as a solution in improving learning. The solution offered to solve this problem is to provide training activities to teachers about innovative learning strategies and the implementation of CAR. The results of this activity are 1) 84.62% of teachers have mastered the learning strategies of arts and culture and crafts well, 2) 80.76% of teachers have mastered the implementation of CAR well, both theory and practice. Thus it can be concluded that generally teachers in elementary schools have mastered SBdP learning strategies and the implementation of CAR. For this reason, elementary school teachers are expected to be able to improve learning, especially learning in the Culture and Arts and Crafts, so that learning outcomes can be improved.
