Abstract

Efficiency in the use of electricity is a necessity for the sustainability of a better life. Almost all human activities utilize electrical energy, such as household appliances, industry, and even vehicles. This research contains the efficiency of electricity use in a housing by applying graph theory in optimizing the electricity distribution network system. The purpose of this study is to optimize the electricity distribution network system in the residential area of Kota Mas Cimahi, so that the best network model is obtained. Network data and information were obtained from PT. PLN UP3 Cimahi, West Java. The method used is to determine the minimum spanning tree in the electricity distribution network model by applying the Floyd-Wish algorithm. The initial model of the power grid was constructed by data on the position of substations and power poles, the number of power poles, and the length of the power cables connecting the poles. The data used is data on a line from several electricity distribution lines in this housing. The result of the minimum cable length on this line is 349 meters. The results of this study are expected to provide alternative solutions and additional information in planning and structuring the power grid optimally. Furthermore, the results of this research can also be used by PLN in order to support the government's program towards the efficiency of using electrical energy to serve the community because they get electricity services faster and cheaper

Abstract

The percentage of students who graduate on time is one of the benchmarks for assessing a university's accreditation. To get good accreditation results, it is necessary to predict the graduation rate using a method so that students can anticipate delays in graduating. The C5.0 algorithm is a Decision Tree based algorithm which is a refinement of the ID3 and C4.5 algorithms created by Ross Quinlan in 1987. In this research, researchers analyzed several variables used in the input variables, there are several variables used, namely the SKS variable, Academic Leave, Student Status, Relationship/Communication with Family, Interests and Talents, Family Economics, Relationship/Communication with Lecturers, Number of Revisions, Final Assignment Material or Method. Meanwhile, in the target variable there is the Study Period. The aim of this research is to obtain the results of the implementation of graduation predictions for Strata 1 (S1) Mathematics Study Program students, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN North Sumatra Medan using the C5.0 Decision Tree Algorithm. There are several steps taken, namely data preprocessing, data division, calculating information gain for the entire case, calculating information gain and entropy for each attribute. Calculate the total entropy and Gain value of each attribute, create a branch from each root node category, if the result of the branch becomes an internal node, the process is carried out until the attribute categories cannot be split. After carrying out the analysis, the accuracy rate was 82.81%. With a high level of accuracy, it can be developed into a rule that can provide predictions or input in making decisions about whether students will graduate on time

Abstract

PT DEF is one of the electronic equipment calibration checking companies in Depok, West Java. PT DEF carries out various checks in the activity chamber to support the successful entry of electronic equipment into Indonesia. The Anechoic Chamber is a chamber designed to absorb electromagnetic waves or sound so that environmental conditions outside the room will not affect the conditions inside the chamber. The Anechoic Chamber. An anechoic chamber is a chamber designed to minimize the reflection of sound waves. This space is lined with thick sound-absorbing material to prevent sound waves from bouncing off the walls, ceiling and floor. This allows accurate measurement of the acoustic characteristics of an object or sound. Anechoic chambers are used in various applications Acoustic research Anechoic chambers are used to research acoustic phenomena, such as sound wave propagation and diffraction. Investment. The anechoic chamber calculation uses Net Present Value (NVP), Internal rate of return (IRR), and Payback Period (PBP). The feasibility of investing in a project to procure test center chamber development equipment can be determined based on the calculation of Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Payback Period. . Based on the results of the NPV calculation, the results obtained were IDR 1,030,241,369,221. So, this investment project can be accepted. Based on the IRR calculation results, the result was 14.803%, meaning that the company's rate of return was greater than the interest rate that the company had to bear. This shows that in the 10th period the company will be able to provide profit results at the level of 14.803%, which is the cutting level. Therefore, the results of this analysis provide investment decisions that are worth implementing. Based on the calculation of the payback period, the Payback Period is less than the maximum amount (10) that can be accepted by the Payback Period, the project can be accepted and continued. In other words, more or less the return on capital from this investment is 8 months

Abstract

Life expectancy is a measure used to evaluate the government's effectiveness in enhancing the overall well-being and health of the population. The life expectancy of a town is impacted by the educational attainment of its residents. LASSO regression is a variant of linear regression that incorporates an extra penalty term into the cost function. adjustable LASSO Regression is a modified version of this technique that incorporates adjustable weighting variables for each coefficient, enhancing its effectiveness.Multicollinearity, a condition of strong correlation between predictor variables, can complicate the identification of independent variables that have a significant impact. The LASSO and Adaptive LASSO are variable selection strategies used in multiple linear regression situations. The LASSO and Adaptive LASSO techniques are effective for identifying important variables and establishing the link between independent and dependent variables
