Abstract

Mental health is a condition where individuals have good emotional, psychological, and social well-being, influencing how they think, feel, and act. This study analyzes the mental health of students aged between 18 and 24 years using a nonparametric statistical approach. Data were collected from a survey of 65 students regarding gender, field of study, and year of study, with a focus on mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. Descriptive analysis methods and the Chi-Square test with α = 5% showed no significant relationship between gender and mental health disorders. However, a significant relationship was found between field of study and anxiety, while no significant relationship was found between field of study and depression or panic attacks. Additionally, there was no significant relationship between the year of study and any of the mental health disorders examined. These findings provide insights for higher education institutions to design effective policies and interventions to support students' mental health

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning ability is an important ability that students must master, but this ability is still relatively low. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the metacognitive approach on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). This research used 19 articles from 2018 to 2023 sourced from national and international journals, namely 16 articles with a Sinta index, 2 articles from Google Scholar, and 1 international proceedings journal. The results of the SLR research show that the implementation of the metacognitive approach has an effective impact on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The metacognitive approach can train students to develop mathematical reasoning abilities

Abstract

The blended learning model is a learning model that uses 2 methods, namely face-to-face and visual, so that it can provide a comprehensive learning experience to students. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Blended Learning Model on students' problem solving abilities. This type of research uses quasi-experimental research with a one group pretest and posttest research design by comparing pretest and posttest scores. The population of this study used Class The results of this research show that the significance value of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test is 0.028 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean values. In other words, there is an influence of the Blended Learning Model on the problem solving abilities of Class X Students at Diponegoro Vocational School

Abstract

Communication skills and mathematical reasoning are one of the goals of mathematics learning. Where communication is defined as the ability to write, read, listen, study, interpret, and evaluate ideas, symbols, terms, and mathematical information. Meanwhile, mathematical reasoning is a brain habit that if developed properly and consistently will make it easier to communicate mathematics both in writing and orally. Therefore, a relevant learning model is needed to optimize, improve, and develop students' communication and mathematical reasoning skills. One of these learning models is  the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) Whether the improvement of communication and mathematical reasoning skills of students who obtain learning with the TGT type cooperative learning model is better than that of students who obtain learning with conventional approaches, and (2) What are the attitudes of students towards mathematics learning who acquire learning with the TGT type cooperative learning model. This study is an experimental research with  a pretest-posttest control research design of the design group. The population in this study is all students of class XI MAN Darussalam Aceh Besar consisting of five classes. Meanwhile, the sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class which were taken by random sampling. The instruments used to obtain research data are in the form of communication and mathematical reasoning ability tests, and attitude scale questionnaires. The statistical test used to analyze data on improving communication skills and mathematical reasoning is a two-track anava test, while the attitude scale questionnaire is calculated based on percentages. The results of the study show that the overall improvement of communication and mathematical reasoning skills of students who obtain learning with the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model  is better than students who acquire learning with conventional approaches. From the results of the student questionnaire, it was concluded that in general, students have a positive attitude towards mathematics learning using the TGT type cooperative learning model

Abstract

User comments on the Play Store are crucial sources for developers to understand user feedback on their applications. In this research, we introduce the application of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) Technique to analyze user comments on the Flip.id application on the Play Store using the Pentaho application. The ETL method is utilized to extract comment data, transform it into a suitable format, and load it into a data warehouse for further analysis. This process involves systematic and structured data processing steps. We identify common patterns in user comments to gain valuable insights for application developers in enhancing the quality and user experience of their applications. The research findings indicate that the application of ETL Technique using the Pentaho application can be an effective approach for analyzing user comments on the Play Store platform, as well as providing valuable insights for application developers for data-driven decision-making. This research can serve as a foundation for further research in sentiment analysis and user-driven product improvement

Abstract

With the rapid advancement of technology, online transportation has become the main solution for many people in Indonesia to travel easily and efficiently. Companies such as GOJEK are constantly innovating to improve their services, resulting in many responses and reviews from users. This research aims to analyze customer satisfaction with these online transportation services by analyzing the sentiment of user opinions on the Twitter platform. Sentiment analysis plays a very important role in decision making by classifying user reviews. Data was retrieved through a crawling process using specific keywords related to each service. The data preprocessing process includes case folding, tokenizing, normalization, stemming, filtering, and convert negation. This aims to clean and prepare the data so that it can be processed using the algorithm better. This process includes removing irrelevant elements from the text data, converting the text into a consistent or more standardized form, reducing the number of features in the data by stemming, and converting the text into numbers or vectors so that it can be processed by the algorithm. Feature extraction is performed using the Word2Vec model to convert text into a numerical vector representation that can later be processed by ELM. Converts words into numeric vectors in a high-dimensional space, where words that have the same context in the text are close to each other in that space. The ELM (Extreme Learning Machine) algorithm is used as a classification model due to its high training speed and good generalization ability. Model evaluation is done using confusion matrix which measures classification performance through accuracy, precision, recall matrix. The results of this study show that the ELM algorithm with Word2Vec feature extraction is able to classify user sentiment with a high level of accuracy. This research provides insight into user satisfaction with online transportation services and can be a reference for companies to improve their service quality

Abstract

Adequate and efficient availability of medicines is necessary to ensure patients receive optimal care. However, inefficient drug stock management can result in various problems, such as waste of resources, lack of necessary drugs, or even excessive stock. This study aims to improve the efficiency of the drug stock management process by using KMeans Clustering and Hierarchical Clustering methods on drug stock data. The data used includes information on initial stock, purchase, incoming distribution, service, outgoing distribution, outgoing adjustment, and final stock. Clustering analysis was performed to identify patterns in the drug stock data, which was then validated using Silhouette Score. The results showed that Hierarchical Clustering was able to achieve a Silhouette Score of 0.976, while KMeans achieved a Silhouette Score of 0.954

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the definition and characteristics of critical thinking disposition, mathematics learning in the independent curriculum, and to analyze the urgency of critical thinking disposition in mathematics learning, especially in the application of mathematics learning in the independent curriculum. This research is descriptive research using the systematic literature review method through searching for accurate and relevant references, namely articles, books, and other relevant sources. From the results of the analysis, it is concluded that the urgency of critical thinking disposition in mathematics learning in the independent curriculum can be seen from several dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, especially the critical reasoning dimension which involves critical thinking disposition and needs to be built optimally and balanced in mathematics learning; the things that are emphasized in mathematics learning in the independent curriculum and involve critical thinking disposition include mathematical problem solving activities, student independence in understanding the mathematics material, and discussion and collaboration activities; mathematics learning models in the independent curriculum that direct students to involve critical thinking disposition; and projects to strengthen the Pancasila student profile in mathematics learning which involve critical thinking disposition in activities and their assessments

Abstract

Web-based multimedia are rarely used in education, especially in mathematics. This study at SMP Negeri 1 Candimulyo aimed to assess students’ mathematical thinking abilities under different learning scenarios. For the eight-grade students, a quasi-experimental approach was employed using the discovery learning model integrated with Math City Map and the direct learning model. Random sampling was used to select students from various classes. The mathematical thinking ability pretest and posttest are the research tools for this study. The findings show that: (1) students taught with the discovery learning model integrated with Math City Map have a higher level of mathematical thinking than those taught with the direct learning model; (2) students using the discovery learning model integrated with Math City Map have a higher level of mathematical thinking up to 0,565 or in medium category; and (3) students who use the direct learning model increase in mathematical thinking up to 0,407 or in medium category

Abstract

In this paper, an application of N-soft set on data with grouped objects will be presented using the construction concept in strait soft set theory to solve a problem in the decision-making process. For each parameter, a weight value will be determined, and from this data, a threshold will be set in such a way that a T-level soft set form is possible. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with a case study approach. An interesting result from this study is that an object with the lowest rank can have the highest rank in a certain group of objects
