Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether using the discovery learning model can improve mathematical problem-solving skills on SPLDV material. In the 2024/2025 school year, class action research was carried out at MTs. Nurul Bahri Kabila Bone. The research subjects were VIII-1 class students with a total of 18 people. The instruments used are teacher and student activity sheets and math problem solving ability test questions. This research was conducted in two cycles with four elements namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The learning results of cycle 1 showed the analysis of teaching teacher activities of 78.94%, the results of the analysis of student activities of 70.59%, and the results of the analysis of mathematical problem-solving ability of 69.09%. The data has not met the specified success indicator of 80%. In cycle 2, the results of the analysis of teaching teacher activities were 94.73%, the analysis of student activities reached 91.17%, and the results of the analysis of students' ability to solve math problems were 94.73%. So obtained cycle 2 has reached the specified success indicator of 80%. The results showed that students of class VIII-1 MTs. Nurul Bahri Kabila Bone were able to solve math problems better using the discovery learning model, which gradually increased in each cycle.

Abstract

Blood supply is a crucial aspect for UTD which must meet the demand for blood for those who need it. UTD Surabaya City faces challenges in meeting blood needs caused by the uncertainty of blood demand which varies and is individualized according to the recipient's clinical condition which has an impact on the quality of UTD Surabaya City services, thus creating challenges in meeting blood needs optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to predict blood demand to assist UTD Surabaya City in ensuring adequate blood stock, planning the blood stock needs that will be requested, and avoiding stock overstocks and stock shortages. To overcome this, blood demand is predicted using the Autogressive Moving Average (ARIMA) and Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) approaches. This combination of the ARIMA-ANFIS method combines the advantages of ARIMA in capturing linear patterns and ANFIS in handling non-linear patterns from ARIMA residuals. The prediction results from the ANFIS model will be added to the prediction results from the ARIMA model to obtain a hybrid ARIMA-ANFIS model. The ARIMA-ANFIS model is used to predict the number of blood requests by combining ARIMA predictions and residuals modeled using ANFIS. This process includes stationarity analysis, selecting the best ARIMA model, residual modeling with ANFIS, as well as performance evaluation using MAPE to ensure prediction accuracy. The best ARIMA (6,1,0) model was obtained with the lowest AIC value of -153.838, then from the ARIMA modeling results the residuals were obtained as input for ANFIS modeling. Analysis shows that the ARIMA-ANFIS hybrid model has better performance, with a MAPE value of 5.28%, compared to the ARIMA model which only achieved a MAPE of 6.21%.

Abstract

This article discusses a new matrix operator that is constructed differently from the vech operator and the vecd operator by stacking the main diagonal entries (supra-diagonal) and entries of a square matrix. This operator, called  operator, explicitly constructs a matrix that transforms  into , where  is an  square matrix, and then obtains the properties of the transformation matrix

Abstract

Unemployment occurs because of a mismatch between the demand for jobs and job seekers' qualifications. Many job vacancies require diploma or degree graduates, so unemployment is one of the problems faced by Padang Panjang City. To overcome TPT in Padang Panjang City, one of them needs to do forecasting to see how the TPT rate will occur in the coming year. This research uses a forecasting method by comparing the Double Moving Average (DMA) and Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) forecasting values of the unemployment rate in Padang Panjang City from 2006 to 2023. This forecasting is done to provide insight into the condition of the workforce in Padang Panjang City in the future. The forecasting results show that in 2024, there will be an increase of 0.42%, and for the next 2 years, there will be a decrease.

Abstract

Youth Development Index (YDI) is a measuring tool for youth development, YDI can describe the progress of youth development at the regional and national levels. This study aims to analyze the YDI model in Indonesia and the factors that influence it using the Small Area Estimation (SAE) method with the Kernel nonparametric approach. This Kernel nonparametric approach is not bound by classical assumptions. The Kernel function approach is based on the approach of using the availability of common variables between censuses and surveys so that it is in accordance with the SAE method which estimates the regression function based on survey information..The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of YDI data in Indonesia obtained from the National Socio-Economic Survey of the Central Statistics Agency (CSA) of Indonesia in 2022 for 34 provinces. In this study, the evaluation of the results of the SAE Kernel method model estimation by calculating the coefficient of determination of 94.56% and the accuracy of the model estimation by finding the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value. Significant factors influencing YDI in Indonesia are the level of youth participation in formal and non-formal education and training.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and determine the quality of the product in the form of a PBL (Problem Based Learning) Integrated PISA (Programme For International Student Assessment) Module on the Curved Side Space Building material. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) development research using the Four-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) development model. The subjects of the study were students of grades IX J and IX K of Secondary School Number 11 Kota Jambi. The research instruments used included validation questionnaire sheets, practicality questionnaire sheets. The product in the form of a PBL-based Module integrated with PISA was declared valid with a percentage of expert assessment of 88.1% in the "very valid" category, which means that the module contains Curved Side Space Building material arranged based on PBL syntax, contains contextual problems integrated with PISA which are indicators of mathematical literacy skills. The results of the assessment based on teacher responses and student responses, the developed module received a practicality percentage of 93.5% with the "very practical" category, which means that the module can be used easily by teachers and students. Meanwhile, analyzed from students' answers to test questions, this module can bring out students' mathematical literacy skills

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the stocks listed in MNC36 for the period April 2024 to February 2025 that are included in the optimal portfolio according to the Markowitz Model. Data analysis was carried out using the Markowitz Model stages which began by collecting closing stock price data until obtaining the optimal portfolio. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, there are 8 stocks that have positive returns and its expected risk less than its expected return, namely BRIS, BRMS, EXCL, HEAL, ICBP, INDF, MTEL, MYOR. After that, a combination of two stocks were proportioned from the 8 stocks before. Therefore, the optimal combination of two stocks was determined: BRIS with fund allocation of 31% and INDF’s capital allocation of 69%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi saham–saham yang terdaftar dalam MNC36 periode April 2024 sampai dengan Februari 2025 yang dapat dimasukkan dalam portofolio optimal berdasarkan Model Markowitz. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan Model Markowitz, dimulai dengan pengumpulan data harga saham penutupan hingga diperoleh portofolio yang optimal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, terdapat 8 saham yang memiliki return positif dan nilai expected risk yang lebih kecil dari expected return yaitu BRIS, BRMS, EXCL, HEAL, ICBP, INDF, MTEL, MYOR. Kemudian dilakukan pembobotan saham antara kombinasi dua saham dari ke-8 saham tersebut. Sehingga didapatkan kombinasi optimal dari dua saham yaitu BRIS dengan alokasi dana sebesar 31% dan INDF sebesar 69%.

Abstract

Agriculture plays an important role in national economic development, but has the highest risk of loss due to its dependence on climatic conditions. One of the efforts to reduce the risk of crop failure is through an agricultural insurance program. The agricultural insurance used in this study is rainfall climate index-based agricultural insurance. This study aims to analyze the value of the rainfall climate index to be used and analyze the calculation of agricultural insurance premiums based on the rainfall climate index. The method used to determine the rainfall climate index is the Historical Burn Analysis method and the method used to calculate agricultural insurance premiums is the Black-Scholes method. The results showed variations in trigger and exit values at each BMKG station, with North Lampung Geophysical Station having the highest trigger and exit of 36,87 mm and 49,64 mm, while the highest premium was recorded at Panjang Maritime Meteorological Station at Rp 3.025.887,38. This is due to the risk of extreme events below the trigger value occurring more frequently

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by digital Quizizz on the mathematical critical thinking ability and Self-efficacy of fifth-grade elementary school students in Percut Sei Tuan District. The study employed an experimental design using a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of students from SDN 105293 and SDN 101778 Medan Estate. Data collection included pretests and posttests on critical thinking skills, as well as pre- and post-tests on self-efficacy. Data analysis was conducted using Hotelling’s T2 test and two-way ANOVA. The results revealed that the PBL model assisted by Quizizz significantly enhanced students' mathematical critical thinking abilities and self-efficacy. However, no interaction was found between the learning model and students' initial abilities in both variables. These findings suggest that technology integration in education can effectively improve students’ learning outcomes, particularly in fostering critical thinking and students’ academic confidence.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the work efficiency of use of loading digging equipment, namely excavators, using the straight line depreciation method to determine the residual value of the equipment after 7 years of depreciation and the productivity value of the equipment after 12 years of use. An excavator loading digging tool with a bucket capacity of 1,1 m3 has an average circulation time of 2,08 minutes with an average productivity of 22,86 m3/hour or 205,74 m3/day. Excavator operational costs are Rp70.208.980,81 in 1 month, with a work efficiency value of 86.40% this shows that the work efficiency of the excavator is quite good. The acquisition price of the excavator is calculated at Rp1.119.402.985,00, so the annual depreciation value of the excavator using the straightline depreciation method is Rp127.931.769,71, with a residual value at the end of year 7 of Rp223.880.597,00, so that at the end year 8 has a residual value of Rp95.948.827,29. In reality, excavators with a usage duration of up to 12 years still have an average productivity of 5349.55 m3/month and can still meet the company's target of 5.000 m3/month.
