Abstract

Learning is an activity undertaken by students to achieve educational goals. This learning process takes place in the interaction between the components of students (students) and educators (lecturers) with the content of educational goals. While learning outcomes can be classified into three, 1) effectiveness, which is measured by the level of student achievement, 2). Efficient, measured by the ratio between effectiveness and the amount of study time and/or the number of learning costs, 3). Attractiveness, which is measured by observing the tendency of students to keep learning. Housing planning is one of the courses taught in UPNVJT Architecture education that studies the elements, guidelines, and provisions involved in planning a residential environment. This Textbook is the result of previous research entitled "The Concept of Open Space Planning in simple housing based on community participation", and "Regional Planning Center for Integrated Education and Training in UPNVJT in Wonosalam". This textbook is a guide for students in planning a whole new housing environment. The compilation of textbooks on Housing Planning will make it easier for students to complete the task of planning a new housing environment. Besides that this textbook can also be used as a reference in architecture design course 6: designing residential facilities and preparing Final Projects related to the built environment, especially residential (residential) both horizontal and vertical housing.

Abstract

Coastal areas have the potential to thrive in today's era, there are some sectors in the development of coastal areas, because the coastal areas have a very large turnover. At this time the government has been implementing development Surabaya coast. Starting with the construction of the longest bridge in 2004, to date Suramadu bridge provides a very significant impact. Through government Bappeko Surabaya Surabaya developing coastal infrastructure for Surabaya as a public space, with the development of this public space Surabaya government to change the negative image into a positive. Surabaya coastal areas as the initial development of the city of Surabaya as a development step, the coastal area of Surabaya city is divided by some regions of sub-districts and subdistricts Kenjeran Bulak, this region will be developed by the government through Bappeko Surabaya Surabaya. The development of this region is expected to be able to provide a balance to the economy of the coastal area of Surabaya society. This balance is expected to be able to run all the elements that exist in coastal communities Surabaya. At this time the coastal area of Surabaya do not have the image to get an impression of the relevant economics that can be sold to an investor or business owner who can develop the coastal area of Surabaya. Abstract

Today, urban planning cannot be carried out without considering the ecological balance. Rungkut Madya Street, is a fairly dense secondary arterial road in the city of Surabaya which indirectly contributes to high pollution. The lack of trees and also a low assessment of aesthetic values have resulted in many environmental problems such as dust, heat and noise that must be faced by the community on Jalan Rungkut Madya. The construction of the MERR road and the OERR road plan by the Surabaya City Government and the East Java Provincial Government indirectly influence the existence of green space due to the high economic value of the land so that it becomes a strong impetus for the conversion of land into buildings. To solve this case, the research method used qualitative exploratory and descriptive which is focused on describing the authenticity of the shape and character of green space in the corridor of Rungkut Madya Street through the Character Appraisal Research analysis technique. Data collection is carried out by observation directly in the field to explain the reality and potential that exists. Then arranged in a mapping based on scientific studies. Next is to identify and analyze the potential and problems of the region to find a description of the criteria and concepts, followed by the preparation of a schematic model of the arrangement of green open space in the corridor of the Rungkut Madya Surabaya road. The research aims to produced a good quality green space design for improving the quality of the streetscape.

Abstract

The younger generation must be inculcated with the ideology of the Pancasila, so they have strong resilience. The biggest threat, namely terrorism and radicalism, lies not only in the aspect of adverse physical attacks, but rather through ideological propaganda attacks that affect patterns of view. Nationalism and State Defense (Bela Negara) insight possessed by the Indonesian people is currently poor. For this reason, awareness and enlightenment are needed from an early age to foster the love of Indonesia Country. This can be initiated early since the school age in kindergarten. However, there has not been any character design in the educational media for the State Defense (Bela Negara) of the kindergarten. For this reason the research on how attractive characters can be designed for kindergarten students is conducted. This research used qualitative methods. Qualitative research is a scientific method of observation to gather non-numerical data. This type of research "refers to the meanings, concepts definitions, characteristics, metaphors, symbols, and description of things" and not to their "counts or measures". The design method uses the Design Process stages which consist of inspiration, identification, conceptualization, exploration, and definition. The results of this research are expected to produce a character design that interests children, so that education about the values of State Defense (Bela Negara) to children from an early age can be done effectively.

Abstract

Batik is one of the superior products in Indonesia, Batik products stretching from Sabang to Merauke. The famous batik product in Indonesia is Madura Batik, which has special characteristics in Indonesia. CV Bintang Abadi which houses several batik makers in Batik Klampar Village, Kec. Proppo, Kab. Pamekasan has advantages in terms of color and batik design. As revealed in previous studies, if the advantage is believed to be hereditary from families who had previously pursued Batik. Besides Batik Klampar has the advantage of products that can be proud of in the District. Pamekasan because it is quite well known in Madura. The problem of CV Bintang Abadi which houses several Batik Klampar crafters is that they do not yet know the brand, and do not know how to reach markets outside the city of Pamekasan. As a result, in CV Bintang Abadi in particular, and Batik centers in Klampar Village in general are mostly marketed by other parties with different names, besides that Batik Klampar center products become less developed because they only become producers that sell in the Pamekasan region with competitors in the Klampar batik alone and are less well schemed with managerial product marketing. Through the service of the RISMI scheme, it is hoped that there will be a tactical scheme to support and improve the rule model of the communication strategy of the CV Bintang Abadi promotion which houses several Batik Klampar Villages through applied technology production in the form of Android Applications, and Online Marketing as a result of previous research. Applied service with the RISMI scheme will be carried out in Klampar Village, Proppo District, and Pamekasan Regency. This service will not only implement technology, but there will be an approach related to the business assistance of Batik Klampar products involving DKV and Architecture Study Programs and Students in both study programs

Abstract

21 m2 type housing is a house provided by the developer with a limited area. The available space is very limited both in terms of area and type of space that is only one bedroom, bathroom and shared space. While the activities that occur in the process of inhabiting are quite numerous and complex. This is what causes nearly 90% of residents of type 21m2 homes to renovate / add space to their homes. In the field observations, it was found that 86% of the 21m2 residents of the houses who had renovated their houses had not paid attention to the matter of natural ventilation so that their occupancy felt hot. For this reason, we need a cross-brushing concept on a 21m2 type of home design growth model that provides a solution in terms of effective ventilation design in order to optimize natural ventilation in buildings. In this research, the method used is descriptive exploratory method that is describing the object as it is, namely some studies of the shape and position of the occupancy of a residential type 21m2 that has undergone renovation. Then the data is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to clarify the qualitative. In accordance with the purpose of the research, which is to find the concept of cross-sectioning on a 21m2 residential growth model design model, a deeper survey was conducted, measurements and data collection through cameras and sketches. The results showed several cross-air concepts in the home design model of growth with optimal openings design analysis in terms of natural ventilation. The concept of cross handling in a 21m2 type of growing house will benefit the comfort of residents of a 21m2 type of house as well as various parties both the general public, residents, developers and researchers in the field of housing and interior.

Abstract

Tambak Oso Village is a village that produces milkfish, shrimp and shellfish processed products. During this time in the processing process produces waste / garbage, especially in processed shellfish. The remainder of the shells are only thrown away and have not been utilized, causing environmental problems. With the technology of processing scallops into handicraft products and paving blocks, the problem of scallop shell waste can be overcome. The training is focused on young men and women who are members of the youth group and CV Krishna as a shell-producing SME producing shellfish from processed food production. The method used is divided into 3 stages, the first is counseling about the potential and market opportunities of handicraft products and paving blocks from shell shell waste and shows a good design for handicraft products made from shells to explore creativity. The second is product manufacturing training which is divided into 2 groups, young women are trained in making handicraft products, while young men are trained in making paving block products. In the third stage marketing training is held both online and online so that their products can be introduced and marketed to the wider community. From the results of training in young women obtained several craft designs from shells including decorative mirrors, wall hangings and accessories. Whereas in the training of paving blocks with shell material, a number of paving designs with a high degree of flexibility are found in the form of trapezium so as to produce a more diverse design of paving compositions. With this community service, it can overcome the problem of waste / shellfish shells in Tambak Oso Village, Sidoarjo, and can empower and improve the skills of youth cadets in the village so that it can increase the income of teenagers and reduce unemployment and make the village of Oso Tambak better known and later can be a tourist village.
