Abstract

This paper discusses the use of the internet in parenting for early childhood development. This research departs from the phenomenon of many parents giving gadgets and the internet so that children do not interfere with the activities that are being carried out by parents. Therefore, gadgets are a solution to make it easier for parents to do activities, especially gadgets providing online and offline games. Not only that, there is a lot of video content available online that parents consider in parenting. Parents should be active in devising strategies to protect children in the use of the internet and gadgets. One of the steps that parents can take is to find references to the right use of the internet for early childhood. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique in this study is that the authors collect data through interviews with parents who use the internet in parenting. In addition, the research data of this article is strengthened by research data carried out by other research through literature reviews such as journals, proceedings, books, and online media. This study was conducted to identify the phenomenon of internet use among parents in parenting. The goal is to explore the use of the internet and its impact on early childhood development

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the transformation of baby swings in Ogan Ilir, especially in Ridho Residence Indralaya Housing. The type of research used is ethnography with a qualitative descriptive approach. This study describes or explores information based on practical experience and ethnoparenting values. The transformation of the baby swing in the Ridho Residence Indralaya housing has undergone several changes, both in terms of shape and material, as well as changes from a more modern implementation aspect with the addition of various applications on the swing. Based on the findings in the field, there are still a few parents who use electric and electric swings because the prices are quite expensive. Meanwhile, the social status of parents at Ridho Residence Indralaya is still classified as lower middle class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which teachers apply the group learning system in TK Muslimat III. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive type of research. To get the maximum data, researchers use research. The research location is TK Muslimat III Durbuk Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency. The source data obtained by the researcher comes from primary data through teachers and students, while secondary data is obtained from some scientific works, for example; books, journals, and magazines. By using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. As for data analysis, researchers narrate in the form of descriptions. The results showed that: first, the implementation of a group learning system in improving children's reading ability, children were grouped into 4 people according to the level of child reading development, reading books in turns, stimulating children with conversational and question and answer methods. With group learning, children are more enthusiastic and focused because there is a sense of community and foster a hone and compassionate attitude towards students. Second, the supporting factors for the implementation of the group learning system in improving children's reading skills in Muslimat III Kindergarten are that the learning room is packaged so that students are more interested, learning media that attracts students to learn comfortably. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors of the group learning system in improving children's reading skills in TK Muslimat III are children's lack of interest in listening and listening, lack of obedience, frequent disturbing of friends and lack of interaction between one child and another.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the communication accommodation strategies used by kindergarten teachers during the learning process and the patterns used. This research is a quantitative research with a type of survey research. Data collection techniques using closed questionnaires are distributed online through google forms. The results showed that kindergarten teachers who were respondents to the study used communication accommodation strategies in the learning process, both convergence and divergence. The majority of teachers use convergence strategies rather than divergence strategies. That is, the majority of kindergarten teachers organize, adjust or modify their communication behavior according to the characteristics of the pupils.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe moral development of early childhood through Living Value Education approach in RA Taiara Chandra Yogyakarta. Basically, this curriculum is character based curriculum. This is qualitative descriptive study by using interview, observation, and documentation. Interview is conducted toward the teacher and headmaser. The result of this study indicates that RA Tiara Chandra using K13 curriculum with Living Value Education approach, which consists of universal value in daily live wether at the school, home or in the society. Based on observation and interview results, many children in this school not on know about some carracter but also know why they should have that carracter. The universal living value that have been integrated in RA Tiara Chandra curriculum namely, peace, honesty, appreciation, responsibility, cooperation, care and share, love, happiness, religious, and freedom. The method tha have been applied are exemplary, habituation, role play, and story telling.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to obtain information about Understanding Digital Literature Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Teachers in Pontianak in the class base, school culture base, and community base they have. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data are PAUD teachers in Pontianak spread over 6 sub-districts with 30 institutions, and 90 teachers. Data collection with observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data collection tools in the form of observation guides, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis by collecting, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The results concluded that the digital literacy of PAUD teachers in Pontianak in general was still lacking. This is due to: 1) class base: The number of digital literacy trainings attended by teachers is still very low, the intensity of the application of digital literacy in learning activities is still lacking and driven by Covid-19, the level of understanding of teachers is still low; 2) the basis of school culture: the number and variety of reading materials and digital-based teaching aids is still lacking, the frequency of use of digital learning resources is still lacking, the number of presentations of school information using digital media is less, policies regarding digital literacy is not optimal; 3) basic community: community support in the form of providing digital literacy facilities and infrastructure in schools. The level of involvement of parents, the community, and schools in the development of digital literacy is sufficient through the school's social community.

Abstract

The importance of parenting in the use of gadgets is the main point for optimizing children's growth and development in accordance with the standard for early childhood learning achievement levels (STPPA). This study aims to describe the role of parenting in the use of gadgets in early childhood: a case study of RA An-Najah I Karduluk Sumenep which is described through a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were teachers, parents, and students of RA An-Najah I. The data collection techniques used were the results of interviews, observations, and documentation in the use of early childhood gadgets at RA An-Najah I. The data analysis used was analysis. non-statistical. The results of the research are that some parents of RA An-Najah I students apply permissive parenting to their children, which is freeing children's activities with low control so that children's freedom is very high. On the other hand, parents also apply the pattern of guidance by setting limits on how long they play gadgets for children, providing rules for accessing the features contained in the device, and accompanying children directly when playing on the device as well as directing children to access the features in it.

Abstract

Habituation activities are the beginning of the formation of children's character. Habituation activities are also the method of choice which is the school's flagship program in stimulating children's character development. The child's character is the attitude, behavior that is characteristic of himself, the character can change according to the stimulation given. The method of this research is to use a qualitative research method with a descriptive method, the research subjects in this study are students, the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hiberman models where data analysis is carried out using an interactive method. Data collection techniques namely conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the internalization of habituation activities is carried out in the following ways: 1. Daily habituation activities, 2. daily prayer habituation activities. 3. The habituation of reading hadiths, 4. The activity of memorizing the Koran (Juz 30).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat berdasarkan pengamatan yaitu pembelajaran interaktif di kelompok B, peneliti berharap dapat mengamati perbedaan sekaligus menganalisa antara tipe kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert di sekolah tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan di TK Khazanah Mojo di Kecamatan Gubeng Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan desain penelitian studi kasus. menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Setelah pengumpulan data, model interaktif Miles dan Huberman digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa tipe kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert ada pada anak usia dini. Perkembangan emosi anak usia 2,5 hingga 6,5 ​​tahun dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Perkembangan ini mencakup sifat-sifat seperti kemandirian, kepatuhan, ketenangan, kepercayaan diri, semangat, dan konsisten.

Abstract

Early childhood education, abbreviated as PAUD, is coaching focused on children under the age of 6 to master maximum and perfect growth and development. The aim of this research was to find out the perceptions of parents regarding their children's education at an early age and the motivation to send their children to PAUD institutions. The research was conducted from November to January 2022/2023. The study used a qualitative method in which 65 parents who sent their sons and daughters to PAUD institutions in Batam City were respondents who were randomly selected. Research data was collected by means of participant observation, structured interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study showed that parents have different perceptions regarding early childhood education, but overall it can be said that parents' perceptions are quite good. The motivations for parents to enroll their children in PAUD are 1) the ambition of the parents so that the child can quickly read, write and do arithmetic; 2) religious or moral and religious motivation; 3) motivation in exploring and developing children's potential; 4) lighten the task of parents in caring for children at home.
