Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) is currently used at every level of education. The existence of the TQM concept can be applied as an alternative solution for improving the quality of graduates at SMAN 3 Pasuruan. The counselor also plays a very large role in supporting the implementation of TQM in improving the quality of graduates, because it can provide information and motivate students to be able to continue their studies to the tertiary level. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of TQM in improving the quality of graduates through guidance and counseling. This research method uses a qualitative method with data collection using the Miles and Huberman approach, namely data presentation, data reduction, inference, and verification. The results of the study state that three elements of TQM can be implemented at SMAN 3 Pasuruan, namely customer focus, continuous process improvement, and total involvement and empowerment. This research is expected to help SMAN 3 Pasuruan in improving the quality of graduates by implementing total quality management and role support as well as counselor.

Abstract

Radicalism is an issue that has been frequently discussed in recent years, especially for Indonesia, which has five official religions, of course, interreligious contact is inevitable. Then, exposure to intolerance and radicalism is related to the development of information technology. Therefore, researchers conducted a study entitled The Influence of Student Digital Literacy on Radicalism Attitudes at PTKIN in Aceh. This study examines how the digital literacy of students at PTKIN in Aceh and the image of radicalism among students at PTKIN in Aceh, as well as how the influence of student digital literacy on attitudes of radicalism at PTKIN in Aceh. Then, this study used a mix methods approach with an explanatory design strategy and the techniques used in data collection were observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Next, from the results of the study it was found that (1) the level of digital literacy skills of students at PTKIN in Aceh has shown a high literacy ability of 82% with details of the ability level in terms of aspects of searching on the internet by 89%, aspects of text guides by 72%, the content evaluation aspect is 88%, and for the preparation aspect is 78%. (2) The results related to student attitudes towards radicalism show that in terms of cognitive response it tends to be high, namely 87% have heard of radicalism and the most widely obtained source is from social media, then in terms of affective response students tend to be moderate and tolerant , and in terms of conative responses students also tend to think moderately and stay away from actions that lead to radicalism. Finally, (3) the level of students' digital literacy ability has an influence on the attitude of radicalism at PTKIN in Aceh which is shown by the results of the level of student digital literacy ability which is higher than the attitude of radicalism possessed.

Abstract

This research presented The Effectiveness of Joesin Translation YouTube Channel on Students' Vocabulary Mastery at SMP Negeri 6 Central Buton (An Experimental Study at the VII Grade Students Outcomes at SMP Negeri 6 Central Buton). This research question is: Are there any effects of YouTube on students' vocabulary mastery at the VII grade students' outcomes of SMP Negeri 6 Central Buton? This study aims to determine YouTube on students' vocabulary mastery among the VII grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Central Buton. The design of this study was a pre-experiment using the One Group Pre-test-Post-test. This research variable consists of two variables: the effect of the Joesin Translation Channel as a free variable and the students' vocabulary mastery as a bound variable. The sample was 26 students. This research instrument was vocabulary tests (pretest and posttest). The data collection technique in this study was to provide pretests, treatments, and posttests. Data on students' English learning outcomes were obtained from the results of the Pretest and Posttest in the form of multiple choice. The data showed an average increase in students' math learning outcomes before applying (39.99%) and (73.71%) after applying to Joesin Translation Channel on YouTube media. Furthermore, the results of testing based on hypothesis testing were carried out statistically one-sample t-test  rejected and  accepted. With its acceptance, It can be concluded that Joesin Translation Channel is effective in Students' Vocabulary Mastery in improving students' English learning outcomes.

Abstract

Play activities are fun activities in the PAUD unit, because they are part of motor development for children that must be properly stimulated. One way to stimulate children's motor skills is through various kinds of games, one of which is the traditional bakiak game. This study aims to describe the increase in children's gross motor skills, especially coordination of eye and leg movements, body with balance, and agility and leg strength in group B children at TKIT Nurussunnah Batam through playing clogs. The benefits of this study are to improve children's gross motor skills through playing clogs according to the abilities of children, so that the ability to balance, and agility and leg strength can be properly stimulated. Teachers are required to develop creative and holistic learning models, especially in the learning process of children who have different characters and needs. One model of early childhood learning that is very well known is the ATIK model (Observe, Imitate and do). Early childhood in their learning growth starts from observations obtained from stimulation of the surrounding environment by using body sensing to observe and then imitate as a result of learning that is obtained to be further worked on by practicing playing bakiak with a team/group. This research was made using descriptive qualitative. The use of the ATIK model in playing bakiak activities at TKIT Nurussunnah Batam can improve children's abilities to develop gross motor skills.

Abstract

The problem of education is not a new problem in the world of education in Indonesia. Based on the problem of education is also faced by Islamic educational institutions. This attention cannot be separated from the historical roots of Islamic educational institutions that gave rise to madrasas and schools. In line with the demands of the times, Islamic educational institutions also developed. The problems that arise are both in the form of internal and external factors. Internal factors, for example, are related to the curriculum, educators, education participants and others, while external factors are social factors (society), government and related parties. In terms of measuring the level of success, strengths and weaknesses in strategic management, a SWOT analysis is one of the alternatives used in analyzing educational management. In this study, it deliberately used qualitative research methods. Educational institutions as public organizations need professional management, need to do analysis and consider the possibilities that will be faced in the organization. The concept of strategic management is used in education to further streamline existing resources in order to achieve educational goals by using the SWOT analysis technique.

Abstract

The realization of a child-friendly school requires the support of various parties, namely the family and the community, which are indeed the closest educational centers for children. Deli Serdang Regency, child-friendly schools are one of the innovations in formal, non-formal and informal education units that are safe, clean and healthy, care and have a culture of the environment, able to guarantee, fulfill, and respect children's rights and protect children from violence, discrimination, and other abuses and support children's participation, especially in planning, policy, learning, monitoring, and complaint mechanisms related to the fulfillment of rights and protection of children in education. The research was conducted at junior high schools country 3 Labuhan Deli One Roof, Deli Serdang Regency. The research approach is qualitative with a survey method of research indicators. The results of the study concluded: (1) Schools have written commitments regarding child-friendly school policies, but not all of them have been implemented, especially anti-violence policies in the form of official letters from internal schools, (2) Realization of a child-friendly learning process through non-violent discipline enforcement (3) Educators and education staff regularly attend training related to children's rights according to the characteristics of child-friendly schools, (4) School facilities and infrastructure have met safety requirements in terms of both building structures, security systems, lighting and cleaning facilities, (5) Child participation realized through the provision of opportunities to form communities to formulate school policies and regulations, (6) Realization of school cooperation with parents/guardians, community organizations, the business world, alumni and other stakeholders.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran bagaimana membangun pribadi unggul dan mengembangkan potensi anak di era digital. Sebab laju perkembangan teknologi digital yang semakin meningkat dari masa ke masa membawa dampak positif dalam segala aspek kehidupan. Namun, tak dapat dipungkiri juga membawa dampak negatif. Kejahatan teknologi menjadi ancaman bagi para orang tua, karena segala macam perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih, maka keluarga harus memainkan peran besar untuk mengawal anak-anaknya menjadi anak yang unggul dengan membentengi diri anak dengan sebaik mungkin dalam menghadapi perubahan zaman. Orang tua dituntut untuk cerdas dalam mendidik anak di era digital ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur, di mana peneliti mengumpulkan informasi dan data dengan bantuan berbagai macam sumber di perpustakaan seperti buku-buku, e-book, jurnal dan lain sebagainya. Analisis data menggunakan conten analisis atau analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa hal yang harus dilakukan oleh orang tua dalam membangun pribadi unggul di era digital dan strategi pengembangannya adalah melalui keteladanan orang tua, komunikasi yang baik, mampu menumbuhkan motivasi anak dan hypnoparenting. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dalam optimalisasi kecerdasan dan karakter anak di era digital sehingga melahirkan pribadi yang unggul dalam suatu keluarga.

Abstract

The Merdeka Mengajar Platform is a technology platform that is provided to become a driving partner for teachers and principals in teaching, learning and work. The use of technology platforms in the world of education is very necessary both in the learning process and in the management process at school. Teachers are expected to be able to improve competence, one of which is in mastering Information and Communication Technology (ICT). An activity or training needs to be held to increase teacher knowledge/insight and skills about ICT. The training is expected to be applied by teachers in using independent teaching applications and the use of information technology media in teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this study is to improve teacher pedagodic competence and the ability of teachers to use independent teaching platforms and fill in ICT-based learning content. The methods used in this training are lectures, demonstrations and practice. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire regarding the participants' perceptions of the training implementation. Indicators of the success of this training include the level of learning, level of behavior, level of reaction and level of results. The results obtained from data processing of all indicators are that participants agree that the implementation of the training has gone well, where most of the participants are of the view that the implementation of the training has provided profound benefits and is very helpful in improving the quality of the participants themselves.

Abstract

This research aims to explore students' interest in reading by utilizing the TikTok application as a teaching tool for English. The study adopts a qualitative research design to gather data in the form of written or spoken expressions and observed behavior. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that students exhibit a strong interest in using the TikTok application as a medium for reading. They perceive TikTok as a positive platform due to its multimodal nature, combining language with visual, auditory, and spoken elements in a comprehensive manner. Given its effectiveness in enhancing students' interest in reading, TikTok can be employed as a medium for teaching and learning reading in educational settings.

Abstract

Interactive media is media that asks students to practice a skill and receive feedback. As previously stated, interactive media is a system for presenting lessons with visuals, sound, and video material, which are presented with controls so that students can not only hear and see images and sound, but also give an active response. Creativity is an ability to create something new, unique, different from before, either in the form of an idea or a real work by combining pre-existing elements. The type of research used is the method of developing interactive learning media. The purpose of this study was to increase the creativity of UHKBNPP physics education students in developing interactive teaching media. The conclusions obtained from the development of interactive teaching media to increase the creativity of UHKPNP physics education students are very high, namely the average percentage is 96%. This is obtained from the average percentage of media experts, namely 83.76%. For the average percentage of material experts is 91.25%. This is very good for students in developing media to increase student creativity.
