The analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis techniques. The instrument used is a questionnaire regarding ankle injuries that has been developed by researcher with the identification of understanding factors, causes of injury, injury prevention, handling, and treatment of ankle injuries. The result of this research analysis shows that students have a level of knowledge in the poor category with an average of 47.62 and details of 17 students (80.96%) have poor knowledge, 4 students (19.04%) have moderate knowledge, and none of the students have good knowledge. The limitation of this study is that the research sample is still classified as a small group scale of 21 students so that further research needs to be done with a larger group scale to get more relevant results.

Abstract

This case study aimed to assess the efficacy of various training methods during the pre-season training of semi-professional football players. The demanding nature of football training places significant strain on players' psychophysiological practices, leading to fatigue. To mitigate fatigue and prevent overtraining, monitoring tools for training loads and recovery interventions are essential. A descriptive cohort case study design, using questionnaires for data collection, applied to 23 football players. The players were observed and evaluated to determine the most preferred recovery methods and monitor psychophysiological fatigue using the well-being questionnaire and Borg's category ratio scale (CR-10) during pre-season training. Recovery interventions tested included active recovery, cold water immersion, and stretching. Analysis revealed that players' well-being consistently fell below baseline levels (p<0.05) according to the well-being questionnaire. Additionally, the CR-10 indicated high perceived training loads among players, with no significant difference observed between the highest and lowest perceived loads (p > 0.05). The effectiveness of the recovery interventions appeared limited, as baseline wellness scores were not achieved. Nonetheless, the high acute training loads experienced during pre-season training may serve as a stimulus for adaptations. Semi-professional players may benefit from tailored combinations of recovery methods following training sessions or games.

Sports science is one of the fields of sports science that can help sports develop and coach each athlete. Phenomena and problems that occur during the training process in the field can be solved by applying sports science based on data obtained scientifically; this data record assists coaches in determining and providing the proper method for their athletes. One way to use sports science in the field is by measuring the anthropometry of Kuantanamo Futsal Academy students. This study aimed to determine and examine anthropometric measurements in Kuantanamo Futsal Academy students aged 7-10 years. This study uses a quantitative method. This type of research is observational and test. To collect data on student anthropometric measurements that are to be known include a) height, b) weight, c) skin fat, and d) BMI. The subjects in this study were Kuantanamo futsal academy students aged 7-10 years, totaling 20 students. The anthropometric measurements of Kuantanamo Futsal Academy students obtained the following average: height 145.8, weight 41.24, skin fat 14.85, categorized as underfoot (mild level), BMI 19.3, classified as ideal. This can be a reference for coaches to determine what programs should be carried out so that students get treatment appropriate to their body condition.
