Abstract

This study is an experimental study aimed at determining the effect of vitamin C administration on cardiorespiratory endurance in UNM hockey athletes. The independent variable in this study is the administration of vitamin C, while the dependent variable is cardiorespiratory endurance. The population in this study were all male Hockey athletes of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Makassar State University, while the sample was 14 male Hockey athletes from UNM. The data collection technique used was a multistage fitness test or bleep test. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis techniques and statistical analysis techniques. The results of descriptive statistics were obtained from the results of tests given to UNM hockey athletes. The results of statistical analysis by conducting hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-test on the post-test showed that the probability value = 0.007 so it was smaller than the significance level value of 5% (0.007 <0.05). The conclusion of this study shows that there is a significant effect of vitamin C administration on cardiorespiratory endurance in UNM hockey athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to map the relationship between certification of Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) educators and the development of students' sports talent in Indonesia, along with the implementation of the National Sports Grand Design (DBON). This study used a descriptive survey method with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire distributed online to 5034 PJOK teacher respondents from a total population of 200,150 teachers throughout Indonesia. The survey results show that there is no clear correlation between the number of certified PJOK teachers and the number of sports talented students. On the contrary, the data also showed that some areas with uncertified PJOK teachers had gifted students. These findings indicate that the certification of physical education teachers does not always affect the quality of sports education in schools, although the presence of certified teachers can improve the management of learning and the development of students' sporting talents. Therefore, there is a need for increased cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to create a more holistic and valid data-based sports talent identification system, as well as ensuring equitable distribution of adequate facilities and support to support the development of sports talent in all regions of Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT) technology-based leg muscle explosiveness test tool that can be used in physical education activities. The research design is in the form of an electric vertical jump tool, students only need to stand and jump in front of the media that we have made so that the results can be converted automatically. The research method includes the design stage, tool development, and testing of 30 high school students. The test results show that this tool has high validity with a correlation (r = 0.93) to the manual method, and provides accurate and consistent data. In addition, the survey showed that 90% of users found the tool easy to use thanks to the app-based digital interface that allows real-time data analysis. This tool makes a significant contribution in improving the accuracy and efficiency of leg muscle explosive power measurement, and is relevant for use in modern physical education. However, limitations such as the need for internet connection and manufacturing costs need to be overcome to increase wider adoption. This study concludes that an IoT-based leg muscle explosive power testing device has great potential to improve the quality of physical evaluation in physical education and sports training environments.

Abstract

Inclusive schools are a real implementation of the commitment to fair and equal education for all students, including those with special needs. One important aspect of inclusive schools is sports education, which is a medium for students' physical, social, and emotional development. This study aims to analyze the readiness of various parties—school leaders, teachers, parents, and students—in complying with the obligations of laws and regulations related to the implementation of inclusive schools, especially in the context of sports education. The method used is a literature review, by analyzing various sources of scientific literature, government policies, and relevant laws and regulations. The results of the study show that the readiness of each party varies greatly and is influenced by factors such as understanding the regulations, teacher competence in adapting inclusive sports teaching methods, parental support in accompanying children, and student acceptance of diversity in the learning environment. In addition, it was found that existing regulations still need strengthening in terms of socialization and technical implementation in the field. This study concludes that the success of inclusive schools, especially in sports education, is highly dependent on the synergy of all parties in understanding and carrying out their responsibilities in accordance with applicable regulations. Further recommendations include teacher training, outreach programs for parents, and the development of inclusive sports education modules.
