Abstract

Energy requirements are needed by modern society in this digital era. Today the most widely used energy is fossil energy. It makes fossil energy can run out at any time. Therefore, alternative energy is needed, especially energy from nature. Indonesia has a lot of potential for the development of hydroelectric power plants. It happens because Indonesia has a tropical climate with very high rainfall and many of rivers with a fairly swift flow. The study done at Bujel village in Ngimbang Sub-District, Lamongan. DC generator is superior because the DC generator used is a low rpm generator, so by low rpm can have a higher voltage level of 25V, while AC generator has a maximum voltage of 11V. Based on the standard level of water turbine efficiency of 70%-90%, it means that the second generator can be said to be efficient because the load used is only a 50 Ω.[1] The selection of gear ratios also affects the efficiency value of a water turbine because therefore in this study will examine the difference in gear ratios, namely 46:16, 46:18, 46:20. Considering the test results of the three gears, the gear with a ratio of 46:16 has a high rpm level of 468 rpm

Abstract

The configuration of a radial distribution network is difficult to simplify because it is very complex. This network reconfiguration is used to redesign the configuration of the radial distribution network by opening and closing switches on the distribution network. The feeder of Purwoasri, The feeder of Purwoasri, Rayon Kertosono has 65 buses which cause the Mojokerto area to have a very large loss so it needs to be reconfigured.. The resulting power flow will result in network power losses due to configuration. The reconfiguration process will be repeated until a configuration form that produces the smallest power losses is obtained. The number of feeders and buses on the network will be difficult if done manually and takes a very long time, so solving the problem must use a computer program. Network reconfiguration using the Matlab 2013a program will analyze its power flow using the Newton Raphson method and using the Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) artificial intelligence method. Before reconfiguration, the network experienced losses of 1169,1374 kWatt after reconfiguration experienced losses of 635,7444 kWatt. The results of the reconfiguration can reduce losses of 635,74440 kWatt or 45,6228 % from the previous loss.

Abstract

Rats are rodents that bring harm, both at home and industry. Rats running around the house (Rattus rattus, Rattus tanezumi and other types) are quite annoying for many people. However, with the current development of science and technology, especially in the field of electronics, there is one system that is offered to repel mice, namely ultrasonic sound technology, therefore this study aims to design a mouse mouse mouse using ultrasonic waves based on the internet of things. The method used in this study is the observation method in the form of an experiment from a prototype rat repellent to be designed, besides that this research will also use a literature study method by reading journals as a reference to get the best method used/combined in designing a prototype rat repellent device with the use of waves. ultrasonic internet of things (IoT) based. From the series of tests carried out, see the success rate of achieving the test criteria. So it can be concluded that this tool is sufficient to repel rat pests with ultrasonic sound. However, the application of rat expulsion using ultrasonic sound does not have an impact on rat pests directly, because based on the tests carried out, it takes some time for rats to be affected or disturbed by ultrasonic sound. The design of a prototype mouse repellent device using ultrasonic waves has been successfully carried out using a PIR sensor as a mouse movement detector, a sensor as an input that is read by a microcontroller which is then processed and sent to Blynk via internet connectivity. The results of the ultrasonic sound generator test show that it is able to make mice disturbed with a few seconds of delay. The relay response to respond to commands from Blynk is 1 second.

Abstract

The increasing population in the Kamal area has improved the demand for electrical energy needs. Consequently, disruptions to the electricity distribution network may happen, such as blackouts in certain areas. The value of the reliability index will increase and not be in accordance with the standards that have been set. For this reason, this study calculated the reliability values of SAIFI and SAIDI on the Kamal feeder using the RIA (Reliability Index Assessment) method and the recloser reconfiguration using the fuzzy logic method. The simulation results indicated that the SAIFI value gained 6.331 times/year, while SAIDI obtained 20.212 hours/year. Based on recloser reconfiguration, the SAIFI value was earned 4.926 times/year, whereas SAIDI got 15.962 hours/year. The best location was located on line nineteen in group three, producing an output value of 0.461.

Abstract

Photovoltaic is a renewable electrical energy generator that is very suitable for tropical countries that get a lot of sunlight. However, this generator has low efficiency. To overcome this deficiency, several researchers have optimized the conventional dual-axis tracking solar method. Research is needed to optimize using artificial intelligence, in this case, the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and Bat Algorithm (BA). By comparing the performance of the model without control, conventional PID model, PID Auto tuning MatLab, Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) method, ANFIS method, and ANFIS-BA method. The simulation results show that the best model design on the horizontal axis and vertical axis dual tracking photovoltaic is ANFIS-BA with the smallest overshot, smallest undershot, and the fastest settling time of all model designs.

Abstract

Provision of irrigation water on agricultural land aims to meet crop water needs. In its utilization, irrigation water must be used optimally. An automatic irrigation system is needed that is able to provide water for plants with the expected conditions. PID (Proportional, Integral and Derivative) is widely used for optimization of control systems. In irrigation control system and sensor connection with software program (Matlab 2013b). PID simulation was applied to the irrigation prototype used to increase efficiency and determine the amount of irrigation water to regulate the provision of irrigation water as needed. As a comparison controller, conventional PID (PID-Konv) was used, Matlab auto tuning PID (PID-Auto), and Bat Algorithm tuning PID (PID-BA). The simulation results show that PID-BA is the best method in the simulation with the smallest overshot (0.043) and the fastest settlingtime (84 seconds).

Abstract

Study aims to help carry out the use of the function of the speedbump or better known as the speed bump which is often found in Indonesia. The number of vehicles that cross the road with the speedbump installed makes the author want to develop the force generated from the speedbump whether it can produce electrical energy through the piezoelectric effect, from this problem the author took the initiative to create a tool that can generate alternative electrical energy. This tool is made of several main circuits, namely piezoelectric sensors to generate electrical energy, charging control as a means of charging the battery. the battery as a reservoir of power generated from the piezoelectric sensor, LED lights as the output of the power generated by the piezoelectric sensor for street lighting. All assembled into a single unit into a miniature device. Based on the results of experiments that have been carried out by comparing the effectiveness and efficiency of the tool with the results of other similar tools, the difference between the two tests of the tool is not much different and is still at the same limit.

Abstract

An overhaul is a process of dismantling a problematic engine so that it can be examined more thoroughly. During the overhaul, the problematic engine components are replaced. The overhaul of the sphere gap setting of the semi-automatic high impulse voltage generation is also intended to maximize the K3 system and the level of accuracy when conducting research on impulse voltage generation. The current condition after the occurrence of damage to the automatic sphere gap adjustment machine. The sphere gap setting is done manually, causing the desired ball gap distance to be not very accurate, and the risk of work accidents is higher in the high voltage laboratory. In the first stage of work, an inspection and measurement were carried out to replace the capacitor and limit switch components because they could no longer be used. As well as improvements to the electromagnetic brake components. From the test results, it was found that the distance measurement was as expected and it can be proven that after an overhaul, the semi-automatic spacer can function normally again so it can make it easier to conduct high voltage impulse research. In addition, from a security point of view, it is better because the spacing between the balls is done outside the high-voltage impulse generation cage

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has paralyzed the economy both nationally and internationally. Various business sectors have experienced a slowdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the financial institutions affected by COVID-19 is cooperative. Currently, Student Cooperatives are required to be agents of change and can contribute positively to society in particular and the Indonesian state, especially in the post-pandemic national economic recovery. The B-IU Digicoop application was developed to unite the strength of Student Cooperatives throughout Indonesia to empower cooperatives in community economic activities, especially students and local residents to help with economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic while responding to the challenges of the times in order to achieve the hopes of student cooperatives continuing to transform. become the energy of change for the progress of Indonesian cooperatives in the future. This research uses the R&D method by optimizing the prototype design. Abstract

Permasalahan yang di alami Indonesia saat ini adalah terkait dengan kebutuhan energi. Solusi terbaik yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan energi tersebut adalah dengan memanfaatkan energi altenatif. Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) merupakan salah satu energi alternatif yang paling praktis di era modern saat ini. MFC ini memanfaat energi terbarukan yaitu biomassa. Tujuan penggunaan metode MFC pada penelitian ini adalah mengoptimasi tegangan dan arus listrik agar lebih stabil. Rancangan MFC yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah rangkaian Dual Chamber yang dirangkai secara seri. Elektroda yang digunakan dalam sistem MFC ini adalah logam tembaga dan seng. Pada rangkaian MFC ini dilengkapi juga dengan jembatan garam. Subtrat yang di gunakan pada MFC ini berupa feses sapi. Jumlah Feses sapi yang dijadikan subtract yaitu sebesar 250 gram dan 450 gram. Setelah rancangan MFC telah terpenuhi, maka energi yang diperoleh metode ini berasal dari aktivitas bakteri yang melepas energi dan dikonversikan menjadi energi listrik oleh elektroda akibat adanya beda potensial. Hasil dalam penelitian ini dapat menghasilkan tegangan secara optimal sebesar 2,17 V dengan berbagai macam variasi jumlah feses sapi sebesar yaitu 450gram dengan di rangkai MFC dengan menggunakan rangkaian seri.
