Abstract

Vibration as a part of the physical work environment that can have an impact on increasing work productivity and health for workers, it is necessary to study the impact of exposure to the human body. The climate room is one of the learning facilities in the Ergonomics and Work System Design Laboratory of the Industrial Engineering Study Program. However, this climate room does not have a vibration simulation yet, so it is necessary to have a vibrating floor design that can simulate vibration as part of the conditions in the work environment. In designing the vibrating floor design, the ergonomics and safety aspects are considered by using the Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) method where the requirement attribute is derived from the ENASE aspect. From this research, it was found that the contribution value for each of the required attributes can be determined so that the order of priorities that must be met in the design of the vibrating floor design can be determined. The highest contribution value which shows priority 1 is 3.80 users are comfortable in operating the vibrating floor, in this case the vibrating floor design is based on the user's anthropometric data. For the lowest contribution value, namely 1.42 as priority 9, the vibrating floor treatment process is easy to do so that the target specification for the vibrating floor uses iron and painted plywood. From the design of the vibrating floor based on the attributes of the needs so that it can provide a real vibration simulation like industrial conditions Keywords: Vibration floor, Ergonomic and Safety, Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD).

Abstract

Ternate has abundant groundwater/spring water reserves. The potential for groundwater reserves is not managed properly and correctly, so that in 2014 the City of Ternate experienced a very serious water shortage (crisis), this was due to a decrease in water discharge from one of the Biggest Springs on Ternate Island, namely the Ake Gaale spring, which has decreased its discharge by 25%. This condition is exacerbated by the occurrence of sea water intrusion which has resulted in almost all beaches of Ternate Island experiencing an increase in salinity (salobar) as a result of excessive groundwater extraction. optimization of local drinking water company (PDAM) Ake Gaale against sea water pollution and sanitation in clean water management. As far as this research is concerned, it is hoped that the prevalence of sea water pollution and sanitation is one of the factors that can increase morbidity and mortality compared to clean water sanitation for sea water pollution, as well as having a long-term impact on the growth and development of prevention of sea water pollution and sanitation in management clean water in Ternate City. Sustainable Development Goals targeting the fulfillment of the needs for 100% of citizens (by name by address) in 2030 with the no one left behind spark. So efforts to achieve the development target are not only by building access or facilities from each pillar of its development, but an effort is needed to maintain the sustainability of built access or standardized facilities that are owned by residents. The results of the identification of proper drinking water sources, where 65 people (42.1%) have met the category of safe and proper drinking water in accordance with health standards.

Abstract

The honeys from the Phytogeographic Provinces (PP) of the south of Buenos Aires province (Argentina) were characterised by the sugar composition and physicochemical parameters used for honey quality control. A large set (n=329) of traceable raw honey samples obtained from beekeepers were analysed and met the specifications of the national and/or international standards for the evaluated parameters, which denoted their blossom origin and confirmed their authenticity, good maturity and freshness. The influence of flora and the pedoclimatic conditions of each phytogeographical region, as well as their beekeeping practices, on the physical and chemical properties of honey allowed its characterization. Thus, the honeys from the southeast of Buenos Aires province were characterized by higher contents of moisture, fructose, maltose, erlose, hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) and ash, pH and electrical conductivity (EC) and slightly lighter colours; while southwest honeys showed higher free acidities, sucrose content and ºBrix values. Honeys from the PP Espinal exhibited characteristic lower contents of fructose, HMF and ash and EC values, and larger amounts of sucrose. Honeys from the PP Monte presented typical lower moisture contents and slightly darker colours. Honeys from the PP Pampeana were typified by higher amounts of fructose.
