Abstract

Motion sensor lights have become a popular solution to optimize lighting usage in various spaces and environments. This article explores the concept and advantages of motion sensor lights, which are capable of detecting human motion and automatically controlling illumination. Motion sensor lights use PIR sensors to detect human movement, triggering a relay module as a switch to turn the lights on or off. The primary benefit of motion sensor lights is energy efficiency, reducing unnecessary power consumption. The article also explains how to create motion sensor lights using simple tools and easy-to-follow steps. Consequently, readers can grasp the fundamental concept of motion sensor lights and have a practical guide to make them on their own. Through the research conducted, a modification of regular LED lights into LED lights that can function with a PIR sensor has been achieved through several experiments.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays an important role in the economy as it facilitates the production of goods and services and job creation. The agriculture sector including fish farming is one of the main livelihood sources for the community and has potential for growth through entrepreneurship programs. However, there are several obstacles in achieving this goal, such as the low level of community education and knowledge as well as limited social networking access. The fishing pond farmers in Kalanganyar Village, Sedati Sub-district, Sidoarjo Regency face similar challenges with additional complexity from external barriers such as fluctuating operational costs for fish farming. This economically causes fishing pond farmers to only be able to utilize their ponds for a single source of main income and have not been able to utilize it to find alternative income sources. These challenges hinder the development of programs to improve the economic conditions of fishing pond farmers. An approach that could address these problems is social entrepreneurship focusing on increasing collaboration between fishing pond farmers and the surrounding community. Cooperation plays an important role in economic growth by facilitating business expansion. Cooperation becomes a core component in the planning and implementation process by involving fishing pond farmers and the community as active participants. The fields of cooperation need to be developed to increase the welfare of the community.

The objective of this study is to examine the implementation of the quadruple helix business communication strategy for digitizing MSMEs in Jakarta. Specifically, the study aims to assess the effectiveness of the strategy in increasing awareness and understanding of digitalization among MSME players and to evaluate its impact on the development of digital skills and capabilities. This study adopts a qualitative research method. The qualitative component involves conducting interviews with key stakeholders, including government officials, academics, business representatives, and MSME players. These interviews aim to gather insights into their perceptions and experiences regarding the quadruple helix strategy and its implementation in MSME digitalization efforts. The quadruple helix business communication strategy is a collaborative approach involving government, academics, business people, and society to achieve common goals. This strategy is particularly relevant in the context of digitizing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Jakarta, as it can enhance awareness and understanding among MSME players regarding the importance of digitalization. Additionally, this strategy can help MSME players develop their digital skills and capabilities. The implementation of the quadruple helix business communication strategy in Jakarta's MSME digitalization efforts is coordinated by HIPMIKINDO, which serves as a communication hub connecting the government, academics, and MSME players. Rather than acting as an initiator, HIPMIKINDO positions itself as a collaborator among the four main stakeholders, forming a quadruple helix framework for effective communication.

Rapid growth of perfume products creates a problem especially for men to choose the best perfume to fit their personality. This research aims to help men find out which perfume suits each individual's personality by inputting a comparison of four main criteria, namely quality, price, aroma and durability. In this research, the research team built a perfume recommendation system specifically for men using the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) & Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) algorithm. The research resulted in an 89.17% usefulness score, 89.34% ease of use, 89.34% ease of learning, and 91.61% satisfaction, resulting in an overall score of 90.07%. The research results demonstrate that the AHP and TOPSIS algorithm can assist men in choosing appropriate perfume through its implementation in the system built by the research team, which was tested using a questionnaire
