<![CDATA[Kampung Baru is one of the villages in Pekanbaru city that has the potential to develop large marine tourism. Its strategic location on the coast of Siak River and has a cultural reserve "RumahBatin" makes Kampung Baru as one of the new destinations of future historical tourism. The existence of Kampung Baru as a tourist destination is still not well exposed so there needs to be a touch of Science and improvement to accelerate its development. The purpose of this activity is to accelerate the development of marine tourism in Kampung Baru Village, Pekanbaru City. The method used is a survey method to identify activities and counseling methods to convey Science to the community. The stages of the implementation of the activity are divided into three stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of a quick survey conducted, to accelerate the development of marine tourism activities in Kampung Baru through the socialization of halal certificates, making and dividing trash cans, making and enforcing plank boards, planting trees and vegetable seedlings and cleaning inner houses. The implementation of the activity is doing well and on target this can be seen from the community and village officials in supporting this activity. With the integrated KUKERTA (Community Service), the neglected tourism potential of Kampung Baru can be reappointed as a marine tourism. This leads to the fact that the touch of Science through integrated KUKERTA (Community Service) is able to accelerate the development of marine tourism in Kampung Baru.]]>

<![CDATA[Koperasi Usaha Mandiri in Manisrenggo, Klaten, Java has carried out intermediation activities by collecting funds from all cooperative members in form of savings to be distributed again to members who need funds in the form of loans. Koperasi has significant public accountability, but because it has not registered as a public company, Koperasi Usaha Mandiri is only responsible for the funds of its members. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to improve the management's ability to prepare financial reports based on SAK ETAP either manually or using a computer system. This activity begins with an introduction and submission of material on financial reports or financial reports based on SAK ETAP and is followed by training on recording using Excel. The material prepared in this training includes the process of preparing financial reports, namely making journals, ledgers, balance reports, reports on business results and cash flow reports. After attending the training, the management of the Koperasi has increased their understanding of the importance of implementing SAK ETAP to present cooperative financial reports. Increased understanding of cooperative management regarding the concepts and basic principles of cooperative accounting, elements of recognition, measurement and presentation of financial statements in accordance with SAK ETAP, can assist them in the process of preparing and presenting financial statements in future periods.]]>

<![CDATA[Petalongan Village is one of the villages in Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, which is still left behind. This village has rivers, lakes, and cultural traditions for economic or tourism development. People still do not realize the importance of managing this ecosystem. Therefore, the purpose of this service activity is to change people's behavior in managing and utilizing nature, traditions and culture to improve the community's economy. The targets of this activity are the managers of Village-Owned Enterprises and Women Empowerment of Family Welfare. The service methods carried out started from the socio-economic mapping, counseling, FGD, and mentoring. This community service activity has mapped the economic potential of the village on a lake-based basis. Counseling and FGDs regarding problems in Petalongan Village have contributed to increasing public awareness. Extension activities focused on using the lake for the cultivation of catfish and tilapia. Besides that, training on tourism awareness and UMKM needs to be carried out immediately in order to increase understanding, attitudes and the ability of the community in utilizing the wealth of natural resources in this village. This counseling has a positive impact so that people want to immediately cultivate fish and use the lake for tourism to increase the community’s economic income.]]>

<![CDATA[The community service activities conducted in Srumbung Gunung was to involve women. Dusun Srumbung Gunung is developing a creative peace tourism village and the tourist products developed is a package program of live. In order to involve women in tourism, the training of homestay and culinary innovation was held, in which some women lost their job due to Covid 19 Pandemic. The method used was explorative qualitative with some stages. The first stage was to identify the house availability for homestay through interview and observation. Next was to identify the ingredient available and produced locally. The third stage was to research the type of snack which can be made with the available ingredient, good flavour and good price, easy to make with simple tools. Besides, the product can be produced as typical and unique food for tourists. Following this step was to choose women involved especially those who are interested in the food business and owning basic baking skill. The fifth step was the training of homestay with the concept of Clean, Healthy, Safe and Environmentally Sustainable, the training of culinary innovation was making bolen pisang and tape. The last stage was the mentoring process of homestay and the start-up food business of bolen pisang and tape. Two of the twenty-two women joined has started to prepare the business. The results showed that women involvement in tourism limited to fund, entrepreneurship experience and skill and the responsibility as housewives.]]>

<![CDATA[The livelihoods of the people of Tangkerang Utara Village are; in agriculture, plantation, animal husbandry, self-employment and fisheries. In the fisheries sector, there are two groups of fish cultivators (POKDAKAN) in this kelurahan, namely; POKDAKAN Cahaya Utara Mandiri and Dolphin Farm, which conduct fish farming in soil and cement ponds and cages. The main problems faced by POKDAKAN are the limited availability of water intended for fish cultivation and the wate rquality that is not suitable for catfish growth. Throught his program of guided villages, knowledge and technology is given on the technique of applying probiotics to cultivation media to improve wate rquality and minimize water use. The method used in the community service activities of the Assisted Village is the method of lecturing, discussion and direct practice in the pools owned by POKDAKAN members. The results of the evaluation of 23 extension participants showed that 20 people (86.96%) had never known about the application of probiotics in cultivation media, while 2 people (8.70%) had known about the application of probiotics and 1 person (4.34%) had apply it to catfish farming ponds. After participating in this training activity, there was an increase in knowledge about the application of this probiotic by 69.57%. Meanwhile, 22 participants understood the dosage and frequency of feeding, and all participants had already known the criteria for healthy fish seeds. The partners' assessments of the implementation of this activity are: 52.17 strongly agree that this probiotic application can be done independently; 52.17% strongly agree that probiotic applications can improve water quality; 60.87% strongly agreed that it could be an alternative livelihood; 65.22% strongly agree to speed up the maintenance period.]]>

<![CDATA[Chicken manure is an organic material that is abundant in Mentangor Village which has been used as fertilizer when fertilizing ponds, however the continuous use of fertilizers can reduce the quality of the bottom soil and pond water. One of the technological innovations to improve the quality of chicken manure is fermentation using EM4 to produce bokashi fertilizer. Bokashi fertilizer can increase the abundance of phytoplankton and zooplankton which are useful as natural fish food so that they can reduce the use of artificial feed, which in turn can reduce the operational costs of fish farming. Community service activities are carried out for the purpose of innovating knowledge and skills of fish farmers regarding techniques for making bokashi fertilizer from chicken manure and techniques for making fish feed in the form of pellets to increase cultivated fish production. This activity is carried out by lecturing, discussion and practice methods, which involve fish cultivator groups and Kukerta students. The results of community service activities show the high enthusiasm of farmers towards the activities carried out, resulting in increased knowledge, insight and skills of farmer groups. Thus, fish farming activities can be carried out by farmers by reducing operational costs for pond management and provision of feed so as to produce high fish production and increase the income and welfare of farmer groups.]]>

<![CDATA[More than three-quarters of Indonesia population depend on forest products, both timber and non-timber. Having not paying attention to sustainable forest management is believed to be the cause of forest damage getting worse in every year. COVID-19 made many people lose their livelihoods. If not anticipated, the remaining forest will suffer more damaged due to economic pressure forcing by communities around the area to doing deforestation. Honey bee cultivation is an alternative way of livelihoods for communities around forest areas. This is supported by the very high national scale demand for honey, but it is very inversely proportional with the low production of honey. The results showed that it is possible to cultivate Trigona Sp. bees in residential areas, buffer zone and traditional zone, so that it can be used as alternative source of income for the surrounding community, while preserving the environmental ecosystem. Within 4 months, honey yields from residential areas are 1.75 liters from 10 colonies, in the buffer zone as much as 4.3 liters from 13 colonies, and in the traditional zone as much as 10.65 liters from 44 colonies. Revitalization needs to be carried out in the buffer zone to provide additional protection for the area and benefit the community.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the implementation of the process and impact of community empowerment in the development of an independent village of biogas energy in Mundu Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency. The results showed that community empowerment in Mundu Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency has been going on since 2014. Until now, there have been 40 more digester installations installed. Empowerment is carried out with the help of NGO field facilitators and has received several awards. The stages of empowerment are carried out by raising awareness, capacitating and empowering them. Awareness is carried out by making the village aware of the potential of livestock manure waste and overcoming the problem of air pollution caused by slag waste. Capacitating is carried out by providing capacitance to humans (individuals), organizations and value systems, providing guidance in the form of training activities. Trust is given by giving the community full authority to manage biogas. The impact of this empowerment is a change in mindset, work patterns, value systems and business systems.]]>

<![CDATA[The biopore infiltration hole is a hole with a diameter of 10 cm - 30 cm with a depth of 30 cm - 100 cm which is added with organic waste and will help soil biota form a biopore hole so that it can trap the air flowing around it. Black Soldier Fly larvae are able to accelerate composting and ordering of pores in the biopore infiltration holes. Perumahan Putri Indah Kulim RT 02 RW 12 Kelurahan Mentangor rarely finds open land semisization and house widening which causes a reduction in the surface of ground air infiltration so that during the rainy season puddles easily occur and during the dry season it reduces groundwater reserves. This activity aims to provide knowledge and insight into the community about biopore infiltration holes by utilizing Black Soldier Fly larvae and inviting the public to apply this technology. This service activity begins with the socialization of the biopore infiltration holes, then introduces the tools and materials as well as direct practice in the field. The results of this activity had a positive influence on the community and many community members who wanted to apply the biopore infiltration hole technology using Black Soldier Fly larvae. This is the first step in creating a clean and healthy environment, especially in Putri Indah Kulim Housing RT 02 RW 12 Mentangor Village.]]>

<![CDATA[Sukamaju Village that is located in the Sail Sub Regency, Pekanbaru is potential for developing fish culture. The knowedge of the community in fish culturing method, however, is relatively low and to improve it, a socialization program has been conducted in July-September 2020. The community was trained to culture fish and fed the fish with turmeric enriched pellets through mentorial and practice in fish feed pellet manufacture and fish rearing. The progress was monitored weekly and evaluated by the 8th week. Results shown that the community was able make fish feed pellets and also able to culture the fish. The result of monitoring and evaluation shown that the fish farmer in Sukamaju Village is commited to develop the turmeric enriched fish fed pellet processing as the effort of program sustanability.]]>
