Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model Problem posing pada materi pola bilangan kelas VII SMP Torsina 2 Singkawang.; 2) Untuk mengukur motivasi siswa saat diterapkan model problem posing pada materi pola bilangan kelas VIII SMP Torsina 2 Singkawang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan quasi exsperimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Torsina 2 Singkawang. Sampel penelitian diambil secara simple random sampling. Kemudian dilakukan pengambilan data dengan melakukan tes kemampuan penalaran matematis pada 1 sampel.. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model Problem posing pada materi pola bilangan kelas VII SMP Torsina 2 Singkawang. Dari hasil perhitungan angket motivasi belajar siswa  bahwa motivasi belajar siswa tergolong tinggi ketika diterapkan pembelajaran Problem Posing pada materi pola bilangan kelas VIII SMP Torsina 2 Singkawang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektifitas model pembelajaran VAK terhadap kemampuan multirepresentasi matematis siswa di Smp Negeri 9 Singkawang. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Singkawang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan postttest kemampuan multirepresentasi matematis, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah untuk menguji ketuntasan individual dan ketuntasan klasikal menggunakan uji-t, uji normalitas dengan Chi kuadrat, untuk mengetahui perbedaan menggunakam uji Mann-Whitney U-test, dan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model VAK menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran VAK efektif terhadap kemampuan multirepresentasi matematis siswa, sub-sub rumusan masalah yaitu, (1) Kemampuan multirepresentasi matematis siswa pada ketuntasan individual dan ketuntasan klasikal di kelas eksperimen mencapai 70% dari siswa yang memperoleh nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal lebih dari atau sama dengan 70; (2) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan multirepresentasi matematis siswa yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran langsung dengan yang menggunakan model pembelajaran VAK; (3) Keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran VAK terhadap kemampuan multirepresentasi matematis siswa pada materi garis dan sudut terlaksana dengan sangat baik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat perbedaan model pembelajaran Problem Posing berbantuan LKPD terhadap pengetahuan matematis siswa dan untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Problem Posing. Metode penelitian ini mereupakan eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Teriak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Post-test Only Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 5 Teriak. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen tes pengetahuan matematis serta angket aktivitas siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan pada tes pengetahuan matematis yaitu materi Segiempat. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Posing berbantuan LKPD dan model pembelajaran langsung. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan menggunakan teknik tes normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t untuk dua sampel independent. 2) Aktivitas siswa tergolong aktif terhadap pembelajaran Model Problem Posing berbantuan LKPD.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character of environmental care in fifth grade students at State Elementary School 94 Singkawang. The research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at State Elementary School 94 Singkawang. The subject of this research is the place, behavior, and activities of fifth grade students at State Elementary School 94 Singkawang. The results showed that the environmental care character of students at the time of observation on the indicator of cleaning the toilet was 94.74% in the very caring category, the indicator for cleaning the trash can was 100% in the very caring category, the indicator for cleaning the environment was 92.10% in the Very caring category. the indicator of beautifying classrooms and schools with plants is 94.73% in the very caring category, the indicator participating in maintaining plants in the school yard is 100% in the very caring category, and the last one participating in activities to maintain environmental cleanliness is 73.68% in the caring category. The overall percentage of the indicators of environmental care is 92.54% and according to the results of interviews with the category of very caring. Thus, the environmental care character of fifth graders at State Elementary School 94 Singkawang is very concerned..

Abstract

The wedding process in Sidareja village, Sidareja District, Cilacap Regency is carried out using a unique and rich traditional ceremony with a meaning that is still thick with Javanese customs. However, this culture is still not widely used to strengthen learning, especially in mathematics learning, so by using ethnomathematical studies, it is hoped that it can clarify the study of the traditional culture of marriage in Sidareja village to be used in learning at school. The purpose of this study is to explore mathematical objects contained in wedding customs in Sidareja Village, Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique in this study uses documentation, interviews, and observations. This research was carried out by exploring the sources of activities around traditional wedding ceremonies in Sidareja starting from: Preparation, Premarital Ceremony to Panggih Ceremony. The mathematical aspects that are explored include how Preparation (determining the wedding day) is included in the measurement material starting from counting in the concept of division, addition, and numbering. In addition, it was also presented a study of learning about flat figures, namely with the form of flat shapes such as rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, in terms of many, and rhombus found in majang tarub, sindur cloth, chitak, paes, keris-kerisan, kuluk, and suweng which are used in traditional wedding ceremonies in Sidareja village, Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province

Abstract

The development of the education curriculum in Indonesia, especially the 2021 Merdeka Curriculum, focuses on cultivating character education through P5 (Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project). However, students still have difficulty understanding mathematics, especially mathematical representations. The aim of this research is to determine the development of cartoon films to improve students' mathematical representation abilities in the independent curriculum. The research uses development methods to analyze the development of cartoon films to improve mathematical representation abilities in the independent curriculum. The subjects studied in class IX A were 17 students. Data was obtained from observations, representation ability tests, and student interviews. The results show that the majority of students have moderate mathematical representation abilities with cartoon films playing an important role in improving representation abilities through active interaction. Low ability students need a deep approach and social support. Interviews showed positive changes in learning, but according to observations, some students were not active in the learning process. The goals of the Independent Curriculum have not been fully achieved. The results of teacher interviews revealed barriers to development, such as choosing a learning model according to the child's learning style. Teachers try to overcome this obstacle through reflection and discussion with fellow teachers as well as creating more interesting learning media such as cartoon films.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh intensitas penggunaan game online terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa Program Studi Komunikasi Digital dan Media Sekolah Vokasi IPB angkatan 59. Dengan metode kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari mahasiswa yang aktif bermain game online melalui kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis secara statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden (90%) merasa game online tidak berdampak signifikan terhadap nilai akademik mereka. Selain itu, 72 responden tetap termotivasi dalam belajar meskipun bermain game online, menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut tidak mengurangi semangat belajar. Namun, aspek visual dari game online memengaruhi durasi bermain bagi 84% responden, sehingga mereka cenderung bermain lebih lama. Meskipun mayoritas responden lebih memilih belajar dibanding bermain game online, 43 responden merasa sulit untuk berhenti bermain setelah memulai, menandakan daya tarik yang kuat dari game online. Dalam hal produktivitas, mayoritas responden menyatakan tidak terganggu dan tetap dapat menyelesaikan tugas kuliah tepat waktu. Sebagian besar responden bermain game online setiap hari, tetapi tidak lebih dari 5 jam per hari. Secara keseluruhan, meskipun beberapa responden merasakan gangguan terhadap akademik, mayoritas tidak merasakan dampak negatif yang signifikan pada prestasi akademik, nilai kuliah, atau kewajiban tugas kuliah mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) To determine the differences in the ability to understand science concepts of grade V students of SDN 13 Singkawang between the control and experimental classes, (2) To determine the effect of Diorama media on the Ability to Understand Science Concepts of students in grade V of SDN 13 Singkawang, (3) To determine students' responses to the use of diorama media in science learning for students in grade V of SDN 13 Singkawang. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type with a non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. The population in this study were all grade V students of SDN 13 Singkawang, totaling 47 people. Sampling in the study used a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques used test sheets and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was a two-sample t-test and the results of the study showed that: (1). There is a difference in the Science Concept Understanding Ability of class V students of SDN 13 Singkawang between the control and experimental classes, this is shown by the results of t count 3.591 and t table 2.069. (2). The magnitude of the influence of Diorama Media on the Ability to Understand Science Concepts of students in class V of SD Negeri 13 Singkawang. This is proven by the results of the Effect Size test which shows that the value is 0,4, based on the criteria the value is 0,4 < 0,8, which means it is included in the medium criteria. (3) The student response questionnaire showed a very good response, as evidenced by the results of the percentage calculation getting a result of 82%.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) Is there a difference in student learning interest between the experimental class and the control class in the subject of science in class V of SDN 10 Singkawang; 2) Is there a difference in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class in the subject of science in class V of SDN 10 Singkawang; 3) How much influence does the Pictorial riddle model have on students' interest and learning outcomes in the subject of science in class V of SDN 10 Singkawang. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design research method, in the form of a post-test only control group design. The population is all students of class V of SDN 10 Singkawang, totaling 59 students. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire sheet of learning interest and a test sheet of learning outcomes. The data analysis technique was a normality test, a homogeneity test, a two-sample t-test, and an effect size test. The results of the analysis showed that the data were normally distributed. The results of the study showed 1) After being calculated using a two-sample t-test, it was obtained that tcount> ttable, namely 3.79> 2.00, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. 2) After being calculated using a two-sample t-test, it was obtained that tcount> ttable, namely 3.19> 2.00, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. 3) The results of the effect size test for students' learning interest were 0.80 with high criteria, and for students' learning outcomes were 2.426 with high criteria, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the pictorial riddle model assisted by the Canva application on students' interest and learning outcomes in the subject of science in grade V of SDN 10 Singkawang
