Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to use technology in education so that it can support the implementation of the independent curriculum which is currently being implemented. In addition, learning mathematics in transformation material requires visualization so that students can understand the teaching material well. Therefore, we need technology-based learning media that can support students' visualization abilities. In this case, the researcher wants to know and describe the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium for geometry transformation material for class VII at SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium with the following indicators of effectiveness:1) the implementation of learning; 2) student learning outcomes; 3) student responses. This research is useful theoretically and practically for students, teachers, schools, and society. This research uses a qualitative-research where the results of the data will be analyzed descriptively. The research subjects of this study were class VII students at SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. The object of this research is the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium based on the independent curriculum on transformation material. To obtain data, indirect observation techniques, measurement techniques and indirect communication techniques are used. The results of this study are that the use of the Canva application as a learning medium is said to be effective with indicators of good performance, indicators of learning outcomes that have passed classical completeness, and more than 70% of students have given positive responses

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study is a study using mathematical concepts in the production of wet crackers (temet). Subsequently, this study describes the diversity of wet cracker products (temet) and by referring to ethnomathematical aspects: counting, positioning, measuring, designing, and describing wet cracker products (temet). It aims to explore the mathematical concept of The research was conducted in Jongkong Kiri Village, Jongkong District, Kapuas Hulu District. The form of this study is qualitative because of the questions involved in the study. The result of this research is that there is an ethnomathematical activity in the process of making the wet he cracker product (temet). According to Bishop (1988), the activities of all people play an important role in the development of mathematical ideas. Bishop also pointed out that there are six basic activities that can be considered in folk mathematics: counting, locating, measuring, designing, playing, and explaining. Based on human observations, each product that makes up Kapuas Hulu's signature food, wet crackers (temets), has five elements: counting, locating, measuring, designing, and describing. There are two ethno-mathematical activities.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pra riset di SDN 5 Singkawang bahwa sebagian hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPS masih tergolong rendah. Berdasarkan data dari guru bahwa hasil belajar IPS kurang lebih 70% masih berada dibawah KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan:   1) Untuk mendeskrIPSikan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas V mata pelajaran IPS di SDN 5 Singkawang; 2) Untuk mendeskrIPSikan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS kelas V di SDN 5 Singkawang; 3) Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keaktifan belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS kelas V di SDN 5 Singkawang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 5 Singkawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling jenuh. Uji prasyarat yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitas dengan menggunkan Kolomogrov-Smirnov dan uji linier. Data dianalisis secara univariat dengan taraf signifikan 5% (0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) dari hasil perolehan persentase keseluruhan skor angket keaktifan belajar siswa kelas V SDN 5 Singkawang yaitu 69,77% yang artinya keaktifan belajar siswa SDN 5 Singkawang  terkategori “baik”; 2) hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN 5 Singkawang terkategori “tinggi” berdasarkan skor dengan rata-rata keseluruhan skor siswa yaitu 71,28; 3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keaktifan belajar siswa kelas V SDN 5 Singkawang dengan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) 0,69 dan diperoleh nilai  sebesar 7,133  >  sebesar 2,003

Abstract

Professional teachers are required to continue to develop themselves in accordance with the times, science and technology, as well as the needs of society, including the need for quality human resources and have the capability to be able to compete in regional, national or international forums. One of the abilities that a teacher in the academic field must have is compiling scientific papers. The preparation of by teachers is closely related to their efforts to improve learning processes and outcomes as well as supporting factors in the promotion process. Therefore, this research article aims to improve the ability to write scientific papers for teachers in Pujungan, Malinau District, North Kalimantan Province. In this study the analysis of the teacher's ability to compose scientific papers was processed through an assessment of the research report documents that had been prepared. Furthermore, the data were analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The research results show that 6 of the 8 aspects of ability analyzed were included in the less category with the lowest score in the aspect of "Analyzing research data comprehensively", namely with a value of 30. The other 2 aspects were included in the sufficient category, namely the aspect of "Using the Writing Format Correctly" with a value of 65 and "Good use of language" with a value of 60.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the application of the problem based learning model to students' critical thinking skills. The type of research used is quantitative. The research design used was the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results of the implementation research using the problem based learning model showed that at the first meeting 75.93% had good criteria and 85.19% the second meeting had very good criteria, the results of data analysis using the t-test, obtained a t_count value of 6.60 and a t_table of 2.045 with a significant level of 5%, because (t_count > t_table) it can be said that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. So it can be said that the application of the problem based learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills. The calculation of the completeness of student learning outcomes after using the problem based learning model is 82.76% above the specified classical completeness of 70%. The results of the student response questionnaire calculations as a whole gave a positive response to the problem based learning model in the material of the Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) which was applied ranging from good to very good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine differences in social studies learning outcomes between classes given the reward and punishment method and conventional classes in fourth grade students at SDN 23 Singkawang; 2) find out how much influence the reward and punishment method has on social studies learning outcomes in fourth grade students at SDN 23 Singkawang. The type of research used is quasi- experimental quantitative research (quasi experimental design) with a Nonequivalent control group design with the form of experimental class and control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling was selected for the experimental class, namely class IV B and control class, class IV A. The experimental class was treated using the reward and punishment method, while the control class was not treated using conventional learning. The data analysis technique used in this study is the two sample t test and the effect size formula. The results showed (1) there was an influence between classes using the reward and punishment method and classes using conventional learning, seen from the calculation of the post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class using the two- sample T test showed that tcount = 2.368 > ttable = 2.0048 with a significance level of 5%, meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is accepted rejected; (2) the reward and punishment learning method has a high effect on student social studies learning outcomes by using the effect size formula with a value of 1.104.

Abstract

This research is a collaborative classroom action research designed with the aim of knowing the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Julang, Bogor City regarding the application of the model.problem based learning in mathematics subjects, the material is addition and subtraction of whole numbers up to 1,000. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects of this research were class IVA students. The results of this research show an improvement in the learning process, changes in student behavior and learning outcomes. Cycle I learning process with a percentage of 96 % then cycle II increased with a percentage of 97%, changes in attitudes of students in cycle I with a percentage of 88%, then cycle II with a percentage of 94% and the learning completion results of cycle I students were 48% which were completed, then cycle II increased by 92% which were completed . All aspects studied increased from cycle I to cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the P modelroblem Based Learning can improve the learning outcomes of class IVA students at SDN Julang, Bogor City.

Abstract

Kemampuan penalaran matematika SMP Torsina III Singkawang masih belum maksimal terkait dengan indicator kemampuan penalaran diperoleh bahwa siswa kesulitan untuk menarik kesimpulan logis, memberikan penjelasan terhadap model, fakta, sifat, hubungan atau pola. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kemampuan penalaran dan minat belajar matematika siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan Game Edukasi Wordwall. desain penelitian menggunakan quasi experiment (eksperimen semu) dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test control group design. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa sekolah SMP Torsina III Singkawang. 16 orang kelompok eksperimen (diajar dengan menggunakan Game Edukasi Wordwall) dan 9 orang siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol (yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional). Hasil uji prasyarat data penelitian diperoleh bahwa data penelitian berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah N-Gain dan  uji Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan penalaran dan minat belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan Game Edukasi Wordwall. Penggunaan Game Edukasi Wordwall. peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematika sejalan dengan peningkatan minat belajar siswa. Ketika minat belajar siswa meningkat dapat menjadi faktor meningkatnya kemampuan penalaran matematika.

Abstract

A teacher is someone who plays an important role in education and tries various ways to overcome the difficulties experienced by students. One of the learning difficulties experienced by students, especially phase A, is difficulty in initial reading. If initial reading difficulties can be overcome well, it will be easy for students to take the next stage of reading. This research aims to describe the alphabet method as a teacher's strategy in improving initial reading skills in phase A class I students at the Kalipucang Kulon State Elementary School, to outline the teacher's strategy in improving initial reading skills using the syllabic method for phase A class I students in elementary school. Kalipucang Kulon State, and to explain the factors that influence initial reading difficulties in phase A class I students at Kalipucang Kulon State Elementary School. The type of this research is field research, namely research carried out directly to obtain data with a qualitative approach namely the approach used to gather information from reasonable conditions. Meanwhile, the data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Meanwhile, the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research show that: (1) The alphabet method as a teacher's strategy in improving initial reading skills in phase A class I students at Kalipucang Kulon Batang State Elementary School, is considered quite successful in improving initial reading skills, there are changes in the students. (2) The teacher's strategy in improving initial reading skills using the syllabic method for phase A class I students at the Kalipucang Kulon Batang State Elementary School has not yet been achieved optimally, but little by little there has been an improvement in the students' reading skills. (3) The factors that influence initial reading difficulties in phase A class I students at Kalipucang Kulon Batang State Elementary School are caused by four factors, namely physiological factors, intellectual factors, environmental factors and psychological factors.

Abstract

The problem of learning mathematics at SD 06 satai c class v shows that learning outcomes are still low, this research aims to 1) To determine the increase in learning outcomes using heuristic learning strategies in class V of SD Negeri 06 Satai C. 2) To see the results of mathematics learning reaching the KKM individually by implementing heuristic learning strategies in class V of SD Negeri 06 Satai C. 3) To find out whether student learning activities are classified as good in debit material when heuristic learning strategies are applied. The research used was a quasi experimental design research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was class V students at SD Negeri 06 Satai C. The sample was class V with a total of 24 students. N-Gain test to see improvements in student mathematics learning outcomes. The result is N-Gain = 0,318 with medium criteria in the range 0,3 ≤ N – gain < 0,7. The results show that there is an increase. Next, use the one sample t-test formula. The normality test results showed that  was 6,355 and  was 7,814. Because  ≤   is 6,355 ≤ 7,814, it is normally distributed, so it is known that = 5,915 and  = 2,010, we get    = 5,915  2,010 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that individual students' mathematics learning outcomes reach the KKM. Next, to find out students' learning activities, use an observation sheet. From the data, the percentage of student learning activities is 85%. This shows that students' learning activities during learning are in the very active category and are classified as good.
