Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership style and work discipline in improving employee performance at the Kota Juang Sub-district Office. This study uses inductive methods and descriptive analysis with qualitative techniques. The results of this study showed that so far the leaders at the Kota Juang Sub-district Office, Bireuen Regency were also less able to provide full direction and guidance to employees, regarding optimal guidance or direction for employees achieved by participating in training held by the company. The leaders of the Kota Juang Sub-district Office, Bireuen Regency have so far paid less attention to their employees in discipline when coming to work or leaving early because they considered that the attendance system was the main controller so that leaders did not care too much about it. The performance of the employees at the Kota Juang Sub-district Office, Bireuen Regency has not been in accordance with the procedures established by the institution. Abstract

The development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) plays an important role in supporting local economic growth; however, increasing competition requires business owners to pay close attention to factors that influence consumers’ repurchase intention. This condition is observed at UMKM U Muda Diyub Bak Mee in Kota Juang Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency, where issues related to business facilities and pricing strategies have emerged. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of facilities and price on consumers’ repurchase intention. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 289 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that facilities and price have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, both partially and simultaneously. The regression model obtained is Y = 0.631 + 0.422X₁ + 0.378X₂, with an R Square value of 0.597. These findings demonstrate that facilities have a more dominant influence than price on consumers’ repurchase intention at UMKM U Muda Diyub Bak Mee.

Abstract

This study aims to measure financial performance using financial ratio analysis in the form of Liquidity Ratio, Profitability Ratio, and Solvency Ratio at PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data used is secondary data from PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda's financial statements for 2022-2024. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda's financial performance based on Liquidity Ratio as measured by the current ratio, quick ratio, and cash ratio is in poor condition because it is below industry standards. Based on Profitability Ratio as measured by return on equity, return on assets, and net profit margin is in poor condition because it is below industry standards. Based on Solvency Ratio as measured by debt to equity ratio and debt to asset ratio is in poor condition because it is above industry standards.

Abstract

Coastal tourism development has significant economic potential; however, improper management may lead to the erosion of local wisdom within surrounding communities. This condition is evident in the management of Nuansa Pantai Coffe in Cot Keurundong Village, Bireuen Regency, where issues related to facilities and location affect local cultural values. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of facilities and location on community local wisdom. This research applies an associative method with a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 245 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regressions. The results indicate that facilities and location have a positive and significant effect on local wisdom, both partially and simultaneously. The regression model obtained is Y = 0.146 + 0.375X₁ + 0.197X₂, with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.622. These findings show that facilities have a more dominant influence than location on the preservation of local wisdom.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of employee work by considering the factors of competence, internal communication, and work ethics. This study was conducted on 46 employees of the Bireuen Regency Regional Education Office Branch, using an associative method with a quantitative approach using path analysis data analysis. The results of the study indicate that: (1) competence directly and together with internal communication and work ethics factors have a positive influence on work effectiveness of 56.16%. (2) Internal communication aspects have a direct and indirect influence with competence and work ethics factors on employee work effectiveness of 60.44%. (3) Meanwhile, work ethics have a direct and indirect influence together with competence and internal communication on work effectiveness of 62.2%. (4) Simultaneously, these three factors contribute to changes in employee work effectiveness of 72.1%. (5) There is a causal relationship between competence and internal communication aspects with a fairly strong category of 0.723, also a relationship between internal communication and work ethics with a very strong category of 0.833. Meanwhile, the relationship between work ethics and competency factors is also strong, at 0.802

Abstract

This article examines employee organizational commitment based on the implementation of transactional, transformational, and democratic leadership styles. The case study was conducted on 41 employees at the Meurah Dua Sub-district Office in Pidie Jaya Regency, using an associative method with a quantitative approach and statistical data analysis through path analysis. The findings indicate that: (1) organizational commitment is directly and indirectly influenced by the implementation of a transactional leadership style by 39.82%. (2) The implementation of a transformational leadership style also has a direct and indirect impact on employee organizational commitment by 53.2%. (3) There are direct and indirect effects of democratic leadership style on organizational commitment by 50.97%. (4) The three factors studied—transactional and democratic leadership styles—are causally interconnected and contribute simultaneously to employee organizational commitment by 85.1%.

Abstract

The study of employee and teacher performance is an interesting one. This study examines the impact of factors such as the managerial ability of the principal, teacher motivation, and the school's organizational climate, which are thought to fully support teacher performance. A quantitative associative research method was used, utilizing path analysis as a statistical tool. The research subjects were all 102 teachers at public high schools in Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency. The results revealed: (1) Teacher performance is influenced by the principal's managerial ability, both directly and indirectly through teacher motivation and the school's organizational climate, by 59.01%. (2) Work motivation influences teacher performance, both directly and indirectly through the principal's managerial ability and organizational climate, by 40.52%. (3) Teacher performance is influenced by the organizational climate, both directly and indirectly through the principal's managerial ability and teacher motivation, by 53.71%. (4) All three simultaneously contribute significantly to teacher performance by 61.4%. (5) There is a causal relationship between the variables of managerial ability, work motivation, and organizational climate, with a moderate categorization.

Abstract

Work productivity is a goal of all organizations, and this is largely related to the internal factors of its employees. Therefore, this study aims to examine the contribution of employee skills, knowledge, and communication factors. The study was conducted on 45 employees at the Independent Election Commission (KIP) of Bireuen Regency. The results found: (1) employee skills have a significant direct and indirect influence through knowledge and communication, amounting to 53.97%. (2) knowledge has a direct and indirect effect through skills and communication on work productivity, amounting to 57%. (3) communication also has a direct and indirect influence through skills and knowledge, amounting to 63.14%. (4) There is a fairly strong causal relationship between skills, knowledge, and communication, so that simultaneously, skills, knowledge, and communication contribute to work productivity by 78,6%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of competency, internal policies, and commitment of the Head of the Regional Government Work Unit (SKPK) on the effectiveness of e-purchasing. The study was conducted on SKPK Heads of the Bireuen Regency Government, using a quantitative associative method using path analysis. The results found: (1) competency significantly influences the effectiveness of e-purchasing, with a value of 55.55%. Internal policies have a 46.28% influence. And commitment has a 46.39% influence. (2) Competence, internal policies, and commitment simultaneously contribute positively to the effectiveness of e-purchasing in the Bireuen Regency Government, with a value of 87,6%. (3) There is a causal relationship between the variables of competency, internal policies, and commitment, with an average value of 5.5%.

Abstract

This study examines employee job satisfaction, which impacts commitment based on individual and job characteristics. The study was conducted on employees of the Public Works Department of Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh. The quantitative associative method was used, and the hypothesis was tested using path analysis as a statistical tool. The study found: (1) Individual and job characteristics, through job characteristics, have a direct and indirect effect on employee job satisfaction, amounting to 45.24% and 46.87%, respectively. (2) Individual and job characteristics simultaneously contribute to changes in employee job satisfaction by 54,8%. (3) Job satisfaction factors have a 63.7% effect on employee commitment. (4) There is a causal relationship between individual and job characteristics, with a fairly strong category (57.7%), which has direct and indirect implications for employee commitment, amounting to 28.49% and 30.67%, respectively. (5) Individual and job characteristics simultaneously have a positive impact of 78,1% on employee commitment at the Pidie Jaya Public Works Department.
