Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out more about the competence of human resources custom expert based on performance appraisals and assessments in order to help organizations to have competent and reliable human resources in the work place. Through various routine development, training and evaluation activities, human resource competencies will be more optimal and lead to improving organizational performance of human resource custom expert, the main problem is the lack of standardization of customs expert competence. This quantitative research uses multiple correlation regression with the sample using a sampling technique that provides equal opportunities for each element (member) of the population to be seleted as sample member. The research sample consisted of 37 respondents from 19 companies that werw considered as representative of the customs service business sector in the tanjung priok port area of Jakarta. The method used action research is research that aims to develop the most efficient work methods. The result showed that there was a positive and significant direct effect, among others, performance appraisal had a positive and significant effect on the competence of human resources customs expert, a positive and significant effect on the competence of human resource custom experts, performance appraisal and joint assessment had a positive effect and significants to the competence of human resources custom expert. Keywords: HR competence of custom experts; performance appraisals; assessment

Abstract

This study is to find out the effect of dependent and independent variables through intervening variable simultaniously, partially, directly and indirectly. The study was conducted in Navigation District of Tanjung Priok. The variables are Performance & Maintenance (independent variables), Supervision (intervening variable), & Users' Navigation Aids Service Satisfaction (dependent variable). There was 96 respondents as samples tested using simple random sampling. The hypothesis was using path analysis based on the previous data of correlation & regression analysis. The results are (1) in the 1st model structure, the Independent & Intervening Variables simultaniously positive and significant affect the Dependent Variables, (2) in the 2nd model structure, the Independent Variables simultaniously positive and significant affect the Dependent Variable, (3) partially, each of the Independent Variables indirectly positive and significant affect the Users' Service Satisfaction mediated by the Navigation Aids Supervision

Abstract

The objectives of BRT are divided into three aspects; environment, social, and economics  Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Purwokerto and Purbalingga is new mass transportation. The route of BRT is from Bulupitu Bus Station to Bukateja Bus Station round trip. Unfortunately, the operation of the BRT is not fully supported by the community, especially ridership. Ridership involvement is very important to support sustainability transportation service. Data collection was carried out from 163 BRT ridership. The method used is descriptive statistics, including ridership demographics and experience. Moreover, parametric statistics are used to determine the level of significance of the relationship between demographic aspects and experience with ridership preferences. The results are in economics preferences, age range and travel time of ridership to the BRT stop are significant. Social preferences are influenced by routine of using BRT, ridership residential, travel time, and ridership waiting time at BRT stops. As environmental preferences criteria are influenced by work and the ridership age range. As a recommendation, BRT operators should improve the quality and quantity of services so that BRT becomes mass transportation that is environmentally friendly and able to meet the needs of the people in these two regions

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the process and the influence of acceptance in delivery order and lead time delivery order before and after using online delivery order. The rapid development of information, technology, and communication changes human life activities that previously used a manual system to an online system that already applied in ports. It is due to the transparency needed to monitor container position and efficiency of port activities to give accelerate service that can give good impact on logistics cost, container acceptance, and delivery. One of the efforts in accelerating the service is applying electronic or online delivery order for imported goods. This research was conducted at Agility International by using qualitative and quantitative methods. The data was taken from ten shipment companies in a way judgmental sampling through observation, interview, discussion, and monthly report from KPI. The study used paired sample t test. The result shows that the average of lead time for receiving delivery orders before using online delivery order in 2017 was 1.9560 days and after using online delivery order is 0.9800 days.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify industrial, trading and services land use to transport flow. The activities of industrial, trading and services have affected volume traffic. Knowledge about the effect of land use on transportation is needed for LSP in determining its business location. This study used proportional samples size to derive transport flow as result of activities in industrial, trading and services land use. Analysis used in this research was multiple regression analysis to perform transportation flow model. The result show that building area and number of employees significantly influence transportation flow within trading and services land use. For industrial land use, characteristics that more influence transportation flow are building area and number of delivery activities.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain the development of aviation safety in Indonesia prior to the removal of the ban on flights of Indonesian Airlines by the European Commission during the 2007-2018 period, and to examine the diplomatic steps taken by the Indonesian government concerning the removal of the ban.  This article employs a qualitative approach which is a literature study. Data were obtained from various official documents and reports, as well as articles and news related to the issue of Indonesian airline's flight ban by the European Commission. The results exhibit a lengthy diplomacy process that took place in the year 2007-2018, illustrating the weakness in the aviation safety aspect of Indonesia's aviation that must be improved. The Indonesian government must continue to strive for the independence of the country's national aviation sector so that it is able to take a prominent role internationally and not to heavily depend on the global transportation business. Economic integration in the aviation sector with all ASEAN countries must also be strengthened to balance the strength of the aviation industry in the European countries and the United States, especially following the horizontal agreement. With such integration in the aviation sector, it is hoped that Indonesia will be able to focus on regional market forces.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze whether there is a positive influence on the distribution of goods and the implementation of Procedures on Consumer Demand for Brand Go Express at PT Aerojasa Cargo. The survey method was used as a way to collect primary data and distribute questionnaires to 30 respondents or Go Express customers as research samples. To solve the problem the author uses 2 (two) methods, namely, the forst method of collecting data in the form of questionnaires and library data. Both methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determinant coeffient, and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis partially have a positive and significant influence between the variables of Goods Distribution Service (X1) on Brand Go Express Customers Demand at PT Aerojasa Cargo Jakarta (Y). As far the variable implementation of Procedure Branch (X2) Against Customer Demand for Brand Go Express at PT Aerojasa Cargo Jakarta (Y). Based on the results of empirical evidence, it simultaneously shows that the variable Goods Distribution Service (X1) and application of Procedure Branch (X2) have a joint effect on Towards Brand Go Customer Request at PT Aerojasa Cargo Jakarta (Y).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of a service delay, firm reputation, and flight schedule availability on the intention to repurchase airline tickets. Data collection using questionnaires distributed to 100 Lion Air passengers who departed from Soekarno Hatta Airport with the aim of Medan, Padang, Palembang, Surabaya, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Bali, Ujung Pandang, Manado, Ambon, and Jaya Pura. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. All data collected is declared valid and reliable and fits the requirements of the goodness of multiple linear regression. As a result, service delay, firm reputation, and availability of flight schedules have a partial and simulated effect on the intention to repurchase Lion Air tickets. Service delay, firm reputation, and availability of flight schedules contributed to the formation of 78.9% Lion Air ticket repurchase intentions. Schedule availability is the dominant variable in shaping the intention to repurchase Lion Air tickets.
